Well, I did read that they were making some changes to the way Paragon/Renegade persuades worked... I didn't think they'd do away with them, but we'll see what happens. I'd be happy if Paragon/Renegade scores didn't effect the persuades anymore. It just makes me have to work harder to play a Paragade or Renegon. xD

@everyone playing the demo: I thought there was no direct import function for the demo? Did you guys find a way to put in the facecodes or something?

If you have your facecode written down from ME2 you can put it in to get a similar looking Shepard. There isn't any import function for your ME2 Shepard, though.

That explains it. I wonder if direct imports into ME3 will look more true to the character for some of you guys. I'm really curious to see if there are any extra options in the final game, or maybe the option to keep certain styles only if they carry over from ME1/2 (like Shep's purple eyes only being an available choice in ME1, but it stays the same when imported to ME2).

Just finished playing the demo and I absolutely loved it. Now I'm super pumped for ME3!
At first I was a bit iffy about the new hairstyles but now I actually really like them. They look more "real" to me. Anyway, can't wait until March, it's not that far away anymore. xD

The hair does look a bit more real. I think that shepard looks a lot better too. The ony thing is that shepard doesn't always look exactly the way she did in ME2, but I can live with her not looking exactly the same.

I agree. I love the heavy melee puch. I also like her new armor in ME3. She also does that same move that the drell did in the MP footage we saw. I only noticed it when my shep was a vanguard.

I certainly hope so! I went to the lengths of replaying ME with my ThaneShep because I wanted to change her face a little but wanted to keep her stupidily bright green eyes!!

Anyone else noticed that the uniform femShep wears in the intro makes her boobs look.... weird?
I have no problem with the armor, looks great, it's just the uniform....

You know, when i read about Chris's tweat and how he "bumbed into Thane" I immediately thought of Thane walking down the corridors of Bioware, chatting and carrying a cup of coffee and a pile of scripts. It was a very nice thought!

The heavy melee is fantastic, and I agree that her breasts did look a little "off" in that uniform.  The entire landscape also seemed dark to me, with a golden glow - anyone else?  It reminded me a little of Fallout 3.  It's probably just me. 

I definitely liked the improvements to the hairstyles.  Less than three weeks to go!  I'll have to get my PTs finished!

And I feel like this is what will happen at BW if Thane is not treated properly

I'm going to have to finish my PTs too, but I'm still playing Skyrim! I'm nearly 140 hours in, I've only finished 1 questline, become the arch mage but haven't done the college radient quests yet, or the bard's college radiant ones et, and i'm only just reaching the end of the second act of the main questline. oh, and my dark elf Hlaalu is only a level 46.

Since we're all talking demo, how would I get the face code of the PS3? Is that even possible?

I love that new default. I think I'm going to have to create her in me1 and 2 and do complete pt. or a gibbed save edited pt.

PS in that little fantasy I have of thane, he was wearing geeky glasses. I don't know why. I guess I just love men with glasses, and I love Thane! <3

I'm finally done with my main Thane romanced playthrough. Re did the shadowbroker dlc and re read Thane's letter. D: So that's sad...

Now for the second playthrough, trying *not* to romance Thane. >.>

Also I accidently shot him several times, but he calls out "adjust your aim" not "That's me, Shepard," as the wikipedia says. For some reason he and Kasumi are very good at getting in the way all the time.

Wow!  I thought I had pretty much done everything in Skryim!  I ended at level 58 the first PT.  Mind you I didn't finish a couple of side quests and I killed Astrid so I never had any of the Dark Brotherhood quests either. 

Anyway....as for an exit strategy - I'm still working on it.  Anyone else want to create a diversion??

It is VERY hard not to talk to Thane.  I'm finishing mine up as well and it takes all my Shep's strength not to wander into Life Support and ravage Thane right there beside his mug.

II tried to do a new PT because I wanted to romance Garrus since he´s a pernament squad member in ME3. The romance part is so important, and If we only have Thane for one mission, I won´t be satisfied with that.
But after played the game sooo many times, I got bored fast. Only Thane part entertain me for now. So I need a break from it. Im gonna play ME3 at least once before deciding to do another ME2 playthrough.

(But Im really annoyed that I never saved the Rachni Queen in any saves. (Why? Whyyy?!?!?) Thats gonna bite me in the ass in ME3, so I prob have no choice but to do another ME2 PT)

Edit: Can someone confirm this? Someone said it in another thread

I've always believed that leak was an early draft and I chose never to read it because I want my experience to be pure. I just would like a specific quote saying Thane's mission has be overhauled so I can show a silly friend who read the spoilers and is very unhappy.

Aye, I'm rushing through this second playthrough now. The only thing I can do different is slightly more renegade choices (yet stay paragon) and the fact I'll try and use squadmembers I normally don't use. I've basically always used Thane and Garrus. My last one I used mostly Thane and Kasumi. In this one, I'll try and stick to Garrus and... I don't know yet.

I won't be doing my third playthrough until after ME3 though, in case there's someone interesting to romance and besides... I'm REALLY bored of ME2 now. >.>


If that statement is true and they completely overhauled Thane's mission... That can mean *anything* (like everything else we have heard) D: But most likely positive. But apparantly they overhauled Tali a lot too.

Maybe they made Thane permanent? 8D Or maybe he can at least live in the ship! *plots*

It is VERY hard not to talk to Thane.  I'm finishing mine up as well and it takes all my Shep's strength not to wander into Life Support and ravage Thane right there beside his mug. 

It's difficult. I sometimes forget he's not my LI. I was halfway through the romance before I remembered this shepard wasn't for him. I had to start it over and this time just stay out of life support.

I think the Invictus mission turned out to be nothing more than a hoax. Since there is no proof of it anywhere people have said it was just something someone made up. I gues they were right.
