Now I really, really can't wait for ME3. I'm in one of those moments where I'm bouncing off the walls in excitement.
It's 14 days for me and I cannot wait! I'm a little annoyed though because when it comes out I'm going to be extremely busy with school but I'm sure I'll find time. Sorry education, you're going to have to come second for a while. xD

It's only two weeks until ME3, so you'll find out soon anyway!

I don't have school to worry about, but I am trying to finish up as much work as possible before March 6, knowing that ME3 will be a huge distraction. I'm writing a novel, so it's easy enough to take the day off to play ME3 on release date, but not so easy to go back to writing the day after when I'd really rather be playing the game.

I don't have anything to worry about (except a dog course once a week) so I'm basically bouncing around in the wait for ME3. Which is annoying because if you have nothing to do the days just drag themselves forward...

I should finish the Fallout fic though... and probably start on another ME fic. And finish Deus Ex and Assassin's creed. FOCUS!

Also I'm adding every origin name I see now.

I've played with the idea of replaying ME a few times to get a real playthrough with my main shepards instead of using the finished ME saves I got. But... am I that bored? xD

Besides all of my not-yet-started playthroughs, I've still got to replay the Shepards I have, like my first ME3 import. She's technically finished all of the previous games, but I made some mistakes. At least all of the major things are right, so I can save the NG+ for much later.

I am in deep trouble. Most of my favorite saves are on my boyfriend's xbox. We're currently doing a distance thing with college and jobs. Being the kind sensitive soul he is, he sent me 2 for my birthday. I broke down and bought 1. And now, with just over a week to go and actual noncomputer things to do, I'm trying to bust up to ALL THE FAVORITE SAVES.

Damn you, Mako, slowing me down. I'm also scared that Liara's gunna ninjamance me. And I'm cheating and using the same save for a paragade run with an older, grizzled Shepard for Garrus and a pretty pretty paragon who may be an infiltrator for Thane.

Assuming I get through 1.

I wish you luck on your playthroughs! I know I could never get through the game that fast, but there are a lot of people who managed to do it in a few days, so it is possible.

To avoid Liara ninjamance, recruit her last. If it's too late for that, don't talk to her. But I recommend recruiting her last. Your Shepard will be completely safe, and she'll think Shep is a hallucination at first. Funny stuff.

Ugh! My loyal Kaidan PT is going to KILL me. I have to keep picking the "neutral" options with Thane. It broke my heart not to pick "just friends?" Gah. He's so awesome.

And I'm seriously pumped for the game - I've been playing the MP demo, and it's really good and getting me in the mood for ME3 - especially when I see "Thane" running all over!

And speaking of everyone's cuddly drell....

Well I feel like it's a romance trigger since what she really says is "just friends, that's a start", and he replies something like "a start?  that's...intriguing". 

And I don't know if anyone else has had this but if you keep talking to Mordin and aren't romancing anyone, HE LETS YOU DOWN GENTLY!  He says that other species always find him attractive and he just doesn't have time to get into anything with you!  I had to replay it twice to make sure I heard him right!

Okay, I see now. That does sound like a flirt line. I must have chosen something else on my non-romance playthroughs because I don't remember the subject of romance or "being more than friends" coming up.

And yes, Mordin will think Shepard is interested in him if Shepard doesn't romance anyone. xD

I have romance playthroughs where I didn't start the romance till after that line... I imagined my Renegade Nemesis was very.

@Friera: Yeah, Europe and Asia always get the short end of the stick when it comes to release dates. I'm just glad that I only have to wait two extra days, instead of several months like we Aussie's usually do. (I've given up on complaining about the 4x price hike and am, like Yhatzee, just thinking of it as the "having the nicest beaches" tax).<_<
Pfft. Oh that would be hilarious. I'd definitely go along with Mordin with that just to see Carson's reaction.

That dialogue really cheered me up. I've just been trying to recreate my MainShep Margurite so I can get her facecode and put it into the PC. That took over an hour and a half to do, and it is most definitely not right, but it's as close as I'm going to get her. (Why, oh why doesn't the facecode show when you import a ME2 save?!). Please remind me never to loose track of my facecodes again. That was truly an exercise in frustration.

So! Quick question.

Currently going through ME2 again with my main Shep, who'll naturally be going after Thane. My problem is that she's not really the type to go "Just friends huh? It's a start. *wink wink nudge nudge*", and having her actually say that feels kind of awkward.

I noticed with my Garrus-romancing Shepard that she still had the 'I'm here for you'-option in the follow-up conversation after his loyalty mission, which I assume would still activate the Thane romance.

My question is, if I have my Shepard skip the 'Just friends'-option and have her pick the 'I'm here for you'-line instead, will she have missed anything regarding romance scenes? Or will she still be safe?
