BioWare continue to disappoint. We've seen a glimpse of everyone at this point except Thane.
I agree! Even Jack got a part in that new trailer released today. (Think it was today..)
I'm getting so jittery and eletricfied about Mass Effect 3, just to see what will happen. Maybe there not showing anything to excite us when we see him? Or things are as bad as it seems killing him off.

Seeing Thane moving around and in action would, as Hainkpe said, reveal that he's actually well, which would remove the effect upon seeing him for the first time in the game.
^ This too. But as I was talking with Thane on my latest PT, he has said that he probably has 9-12 months left. That gives me hope. But then I don't know how far Mass Effect 3 takes place from Mass Effect 2. *sigh* there goes my hope again.

They're toying with us. They stand in their offices and watch this thread, some pity us, some take joy in our despair. They rub their dry, worn hands together, laughing evilly. They planned and plotted, now they wait.
LOL! Thanks for the laugh. I think this is exactly what they do. They have someone at all hours watching this thread. Reading our posts and then decide to evily not show Thane.

It's hilarious because Thane was at the upper top of ME2's marketing. Frankly, I think this only indicates one thing: that he's available for only a tiny portion of the game, one that's not enough to even justify showing him in a trailer.
I don't really care at this point anyway. Part of me knew we wouldn't see him until in-game, so I'm not all that surprised. The launch trailer was epic nonetheless.
I really couldn't agree more with this. It makes since in a sad ...sad way. I still get that little string of hope..then I loose it in the wind.

Trailer was good too.
And I am done talking now
