We were just venting about this a couple pages ago. He literally hasn't appeared in ANY promotional material.

Let's just say if it weren't for the leaked script, we wouldn't have known he's even in. (He was also tentatively mentioned in one article but that was hardly a confirmation.)

Aww man, he's one of my favourites.  They've shown mostly everyone but him and Grunt (well and Zaeed and Kasumi, but they're DLC).  I wonder why, he's one of the more popular characters in the Mass Effect universe.  My Shepard developed a close friendship with him because they relate on how they view the world and such, so I'm hoping he still has good development for the friendship path as well.

It's the 20th for me, but oh well. I waited 2.5 months past ME2's release date, and I can definitely wait two more weeks for ME3.

I'm going to have to wait an extra week, but truth be told, now I am SERIOUSLY considering just dipping into my Gold Coast Comp savings, and going up to Townsville for the midnight laungh. I really shouldn't, because I do need that money, but dammit, I DON'T WANNA HAVE TO WAIT AN EXTRA WEEK!!!

Have I mentioned that I'm upset about that? Cause I am. I really am.

Also, does anyone remember who it was who came up the the phrase "turtling" for the Renegade Interrupt option in Thane's LM, where Shepard shoots Kolyat. Cause I figured out a Paragon version for the next chapter of Invictus and I want to be able to credit them in the A/N.

I'm sure someone will come on here and let us know when and where to find Thane. I'm not doing my Thane playthrough first until I know what happens to him. Hopefully after about a week we all should know.

Exactly, one of the ME3 endings must have a happy Thane ending, if it doesn't well.. I'll rage. Plain and simple.
Yes, green babies, that would be so cute! Now all I'm gonna be thinking about are drell babies. Or would it be green human babies? Hmm.....anyway! I don't care if Kolyat doesn't like it or if Shepard gets hallucinations either, the babies would be so worth it.

Anyway! Yes, back to discussion of lovely Paragon Interrupt Hugs and Kisses!
Thane would probably say something like - "That was intriguing, Siha.." I can just imagine it now.


EDIT - @Asenza, don't worry, you're not alone, I'm doing my Thane playthrough first too. I won't be able to wait so it'll be my first. I'll be coming on here to see how (or if) I can save Thane. Besides, if I played one of my other playthroughs and I saw Thane, I'd be so angry at myself for not doing my other playthrough first. I want to see Thane for the first time with my canon Shepard who romanced him.

I know some don't like the idea, but it never bothered me. I think they would be cute also.
Why would Kolyat have a problem with it. He has his own life. As long as Thane is still a good father to him it shouldn't matter.

I would have to disagree about Shepard and Thane having mutant babbies. Adoption, no problem, but Shepard actually becoming pregnant with Thane's child is just...

I don't know how much time has passed, but hopefully Thane and Kolyat have worked through some of their problems. I'm sure he has spent as much time with his son as he can during that time.

The kid idea probably doesn't bother me because I watched a lot of Star Trek as a kid so I'm use to it. Some people hate the idea and I don't know why. It's just a game.
If I could draw I would draw their kid, or just draw a lot of Thane.

Sorry, haven't read all the posts but @Asenza, you will not be the only one!! I'm heading to a midnight launch, and have the next day off! I then have Thurs & Fri too
My first PT will be Thane, with no ME1 import (it's just straight from ME2). Can't wait to see my fave drell and this game!

Quick edit - I too agree that BW doesn't do death well.  Shep/crew probably wouldn't even mention/acknowledge that Thane's gone/missing!

Even if I got ME3 ready on thursday, I still got a stupid work agency full day to attend to. They can't see how important this is!

Can't seem to get buying From Ashes right either so I'll be delayed with another 10 minutes once I DO get home to buy/download it. The horror. xD

Thane fans help. I'm having a bug in one of his dialogues - the one about the compact, hanar rescuing Drell etc. I can't end thins conversation. After finishing all lines, the camera keeps looking at Thane and I can't do anything :/

Happens when you space through his memory recalls I think. I have found no solutation to it other than forcing the game shut and restarting.

That's why I love several saves. >.<
