I am going through, so NOT depressed because, well. Com'on! Its Shepard and Garrus and Wrex and Liara and... need I go on?
Its bittersweet. Its going to have those moment that bring so much joy and happiness then it will plunge you into despair. I just started, have four hours of gameplay and let me tell you, its OMFG amazing.
So, don't just focus on Thane, well, focus on Thane but also focus on the bigger picture too. We have that chance of seeing Thane again!

Finally got to start playing last night, but had decided to go with a brand new custom M!Shep, so I could make mistakes and not be too put out by failure. It has been fun, but I miss seeing old squaddies and especially Thane.
I think I have come to terms with what may (probably) happen to him, so I will be loading up my Cate Shepard (my first Thane romance Shep) today. I will stagger the game play between my ginuea pig Shep and Cate. Very much looking forward to seeing Thane, no matter what.

It really sounds like the Turian Primach (sp??) is voiced by Keythe Farley. IMDB is acting wonky for me so I don't know if I'm right, or the VA just sounds similar. Fun to imagine nevertheless.

I couldn't find the VA for the Primarch, but I don't see Thane's VA linked to it.

Indeed. We all love Thane.
So glad I can finally play. Have also met Thane now but playing on another Shepard (tempted to start on the other right away though) xD. I'm impressed so far but still getting used to the fact that Shepard talks more without the player's help now. Not a bad thing but confusing. xD

You get to speak with him (and make out with him in the middel of the hospital... hehe) but no mission. You can totally tell he sounds sick. poor bb......
when cerberus attacks the citadel, you get to see Kai Leng and Thane fight each other. Guess who wins?
he does gets sent to the hospital later after the mission... but well you know what happens. T_T

I just wanted to post here for Thane fans, you guys have such a great character to love. I fully enjoyed his story. I didn't have time to romance Thane on my 3rd Femshep profile, but I still liked the thought of being his friend. He was a badass!
Im not sure if this is some "higher power" using a game to help me realize some things in my life that I must do, but...*SPOILERS BELOW*
(SPOILERS)His suffering with Kepral's is now a reminder of what I may have to face in my life. While I enjoyed watching him kick Kai Leng's ass, the wound caught me by suprise. I felt this lump in my throat form when I was sure he was going to die. Then, my own father called me. I had to pause the game and he just wanted to have a word with me. Just as he was about to leave for work and end the phone call, he hesitated to tell me he had to go to the hospital. He's waiting for results to see if he has cancer. Reassuring me and telling me not to worry didn't help after we had to hang up. I continued the game with this sudden sickness and worry. THEN...Huerta Hospital. Right after that, I pretty much lost it. My boyfriend freaked out and couldn't figure out why he came home to me sobbing and drowning my keyboard. It was really bad timing. Thane succumbed to Kepral final stages and now I worry for my own father.

I hope that Thane gets the proper respect and such from fans of the game, and not just his character. It's become a little personal for me...<3

When initially talking to James Vega, he calls you "Lola." In the conversation you get to either accept being called "Lola" or tell him to call you Commander. Now, my Shepard already has a nickname and it ain't "Lola" its "Siha." So shut it Vega and take your "Lola" and....
For those who may not know, "Lola" usually means "Little Woman" and has a seductive kind of connotation.

If you want, you can do a quote box and label it spoilers then change the color of the text to warn others. Thus far, I am having trouble finding a bbcode color that is dark grey enough to hide.

I won't say I cried, because it's obvious I did (mom kinda wondered what the heck was wrong with me xD) What annoys me is the lack of mention of him afterwards... =/ None cared.
