Do any of you have a bbcode color that is a very dark gray that will hide spoilers? I was using dark gray #808080 but that is still too light.

It ticked me off that when I was looking at the "death board" (on the Normandy), and Garrus doesn't even MENTION THANE, he asks about Ashley?? WTF? Well done again BW. Same with Liara

Yeah, that pisses me off too. I was pleasantly surprised at another situation at how well squadmates reacted to things happening and then... that. I guess it's because Thane is an optional recruit and didn't really give anything in ME2.

Looks like gray 28 #3B3131 will work.
Then if you wanted to see the spoiler section, you would place your cursere over the text, click and drag to highlight in blue and you will see the text in white.

Radahldo
hi I saw you asking for a spoiler tag
{color=rgb(50, 50, 50)} {/color}
this color is the same as the background; text will seem invisible until its highlighted
Again replace the { and } with [ and ] so that the code is recognized.
Thanks for responding.
Also, if those who posted spoilers, please go back and fix your posts so that we are not spoiling anything for anyone else, it would be appreciated. Thanks.

Gonna say this though.
Spoilers
That damn assassin that killed Thane will die a bloody, horrible death if I get to decide... What annoys me the most is that at the moment I'm not sure I want to finish the game if there's gonna be more of this and only bad stuff.. >.> (Havn't finished it yet if anyone's wondering)

And I am not for an magical cure myself. It would have to be something that comes with a consequence. Although I would prefer that rather than his Keprel's syndrome be cured, that his life could be prolonged in some unnatural way.
Will it sucks that he dies in ME3 then. Lol.

I feel the exact same way - I'm playing multiplayer now. I've already shed a few tears for this game, and if it only gets worse, I'm thinking perhaps I just make up the rest in my head

"The last doctor told me I had 3 months to live, my favourite doctor. That was nine months ago." He was way past his sell-by-date. It was sad seeing him go, but at least you get payback. For Thane and Miranda.

Hi, I'm new to the forum. I have played Mass Effect since few years and Thane was always my love interest. I've even made some drawings with him, because I'm keen on digital painting. And here's a little message from me to all of you guys...DON'T WORRY!I'm sure it is going to be something more
Ps. sorry for my English, if it's bad, please correct me
Have you finished ME3 yet? If not, then you're in for a shock.

I just get so sad when I think about it. Techinally Thane died in a hospital bed which was my worst fear. And everyone just... forgot him... even though his last thoughts was with Shepard... What about all the clues they gave out in ME2? Just... damn teasers...! Poor Kolyat, all alone again too. Now that I'm getting over it all I'm just getting angry now. Do you as a romance option even get to like... be with him? Or just that kiss in the hospital? So harsh... >.<

I don't think I want to import my Thane romancing Sheps, it's just too cruel.

Should be noted that I have not finished the game in either my newly created Shep, or my imported femShep in a romance with Thane.
I am agast at what they have reduced Thane's character to. No matter how they wanted to end his life, if the writers were so inclined to end Thane, this hospice reality for him is horrific to me. And the words they have Shepard say (which of course fail me right now), made me shake my head in disbelief. After the initial meeting, any "romance" comes in the form of grappling/making out with him, in an attempt to make it look, what....sexy???
I feel like I got the wind knocked out of me, and tried to keep playing some after that interaction. I had to go talk to Kaidan.....didn't really pay attention, just went through the motions. Then realized I had to walk past him to leave. I LITERALLY ran through the ward to the elevator. Ended up doing Kasumi's quest next, and I had no heart in it. The Thane outcome seems to have tainted everything for me. I adore Kasumi, and was really looking forward to seeing her again, but I was..........need a thesaurus, dammit!
I quit the game right after Kasumi's quest, and came on the boards to find out if we get SOMETHING more for Thane, and needless to say, I was disheartened. It also appears that no one else really mentions Thanes passing.
Now for the final fuuuuu. KOYLAT!! During the conversation you have with Thane, his son is NEVER mentioned!!! Since I have not played past what is mentioned above, maybe there is still something revealed about Koylat, but..... I bring this up because if you complete Thanes LM, befriend or romance him, he talks about his son and his continued correspondence. ****! This WAS his LM in ME2. Did this not matter????? I rather liked Thane having more reasons to want to live than just Shepard, and a reconnection with his son was just that IMHO!
Final thoughts: I will not be finishing out Cate's story, and I don't have the heart to import any others (even my
M!Sheps since they were all Bro's with Thane). I WILL finish my newly created Shep, Kane Shepard, who is about half way through the game. Thane isn't in the default background for newly created Sheps. Between Thane and other ME2 squaddies getting the bums rush, and the endings being as they are, this game has no replayability for me.
Sorry for being long winded and overly emotional. Keep well, everyone, and to the poster who posted in regards to their father being sick, my thoughts are with you. Wishing you all the best.

I havn't played Thane's romance in ME3, and I don't think I will anytime soon. I just can't deal with it. He was supposed to be the Asari counterpart from what I gathered. And they do this? Toss him aside? Despite the clues, despite all pleadings.
I can barely enter the hospital area without feeling sick. It just went so fast and with no chances to... develop anything. No chance to get anything more out of it like some LIs. I don't know details but I know there's other LIs being pushed aside, hell most ME2 LIs are... it's an unfair situation for a lot of people at the moment... I havn't checked the main forums yet but I bet people are raging.
I'm not sure if this effect it's having on us, or at least me, means it was a good "action" of them. I'm just SO sick of my fave characters being killed off all the time! First my favourite comic character was killed, then my fave from another game was killed OFFSCREEN. And now Thane. And I have a bad feeling that my last hope, which is Garrus, is going to be killed off too. (Certainly wouldn't surprise me at all)
Sure, it's the third game and all, it should be depressing and it has its good moments too. But I don't see myself replaying it either. Not like how I could replay ME2 a lot. I'm not even sure I will be able to play any of the games again because well... I know what will happen in ME3.
Hell to get some peace with it all, I think I'll just pretend ME3 never happened...
Maybe I'll change my mind once I actually finish the game, but it just feels like one's running around, delaying what's going to be everyone's death and doom. I can't believe I've waited for this for 2 years...
It's honestly upsetting me.
I'll go continue the game now and hope there's some more redeeming things to happen...
