@Maera...it's not just your pc. It's mine too. Soooooo disappointing. can't get a proper hand holding, kiss, love scene, ANY scene, ANY proper closure.
But hell...oh nvmd, just get myself into trouble.

Saves me a 'way back' reload, I guess. I'm going to ramble now, indulge me. I'm bored and in a writing/rambling mood.
You know, half a year back or more, I remember my brothers and I talking about DA2, how it had disappointed us. One of them said "I bet ME3 just falls apart, too." and the four of us just all went kind of quiet and nodded. Sort of a sad acquiescence to the point. We're not as old in the Bioware fandom as some; we came into it when I bought KotOR on an impulse and then we passed it around as we each finished our playthrough. We have, however, been fans ever since, but DA2 was kind of the first note. Then TOR being almost-but-not-quite. Part of me kept my ME3 preorder while simultaneously expecting it to just not measure up to the first two. (Contrary to some, I adored 2.)
Never, however, in our wildest ideas of 'falling apart' did any of us really bank on the ending being what it was, or the ME2 squad getting almost a wholesale shelf-ing. We were thinking more in broad terms, a generally weaker story, a even-more-gutted skill system, more streaming of the RPG elements. Not God Children, character rape, and plot holes big enough to have their own gravity wells.
None of them have bothered to finish 3. Nor have I. But even they, males who only liked Thane as a 'bro' are rather annoyed and baffled at the treatment of his romance. When I told them about the whole 'we dropped the ball' thing, one of them just goes "Yeah, what was that big long delay for then? How could they just *forget* a major character, a LI, and one of their frickin' poster boys? Was he not on the cover to 2 and many of the vids? It's like Koei forgetting Zhao Yun." (Anyone who plays Dynasty Warriors gets that, if not, carry on, not important.)
So... yeah I don't think I had a point there. I think I was just venting. The worst thing of this: Thane fics were already starting to dwindle down to nearly none. I fear this will finish it off, and I will have hardly anything left to read in this fandom. With Garrus so bro-zoned to my Shep, I have a hard time even relating to other Sheps romancing him, which I know is extremely odd, but it is what it is. And Kaidan, eh.
