I was just drawing Thane/Femshep fanart and had to take a break because I became sad when I had to load the game just to get some references on my Shep.

And then I saunter off here when I take a break form painting and find hilarious Javik/Thane stuff, so after reading all those funny Javik/Thane banters I'd thought I'd share one of my own:

Javik: I sense your species have perfect memory.
Thane: Yes, as a result of adapting to our homeworld Rakhana.
Javik: I also sense that your kind have a tendency to get lost within those memories.
Thane: True, Whenever times are difficult we'd rather lose ourselves in a more pleasant memory.
Javik : Just do not lose yourself in my vicinity.
Thane: Have I offended you Javik?
Javik: Whenever the Commander is close, your mind lingers to moments too private for my senses.
Thane: Oh, my apologies then. I will try to keep myself in the present if I am able to do so.
Javik: You can try. But I doubt you will succeed. Your apology is welcome however.

It absolutely sucks that we have to do that. It sucks even more for me because my internet connection is so bloody unrelihable that I keep dropping out of mp when I play it. I played with Purple_Lobster last week it took 45minutes just to get a stable connection to the servers. So I can't even do that.

I'm up for DLC. I'm REALLY up for DLC. I just don't think it would happen, or that they will charge through the nose for it.

I tried not to be in Ava's camp during the development. Now I think I should have been. It might have lessened the disappointment somewhat.

If they made a DLC to fix all this stuff with Thane, it would have to be pretty epic for me to pay for it.

In other words... give us a whole new mission, ability to save him, add him to the squad, convos, romance scene, etc.

Another beef I have... why didn't they update Thane's look, like they did with Jack and some others?

You know, a new sexy outfit or something.  If they gave him a long coat, I think I'd die from a fangasm.

Ha, I usually don't write. Partially because I feel more at home when drawing and painting and also because my spelling and grammar in english or my native language (swedish btw) is made of total phail. But if I ever come up with more writing (that's not made of phail that is) I will post it. I will post the painting somewhere on BSN when it's finished (watercolours yay!), and I may post it on da too. I've never posted my art on da before though...

Thane/Javik convos are the best! I can imagine them sitting down and having an intellectual conversation together. I doubt Javik would complain about Thane like he did about Liara

There seems to be other people who want an extended character DLC, doubtful BW would put the effort into pretty much re-writing everything about Thane though. There was clearly some laziness and complacency when it came to Thane's (and most other ME2 characters) dialogue in this game.

I agree with this. It would have been so nice to see the how they all interact with each other.
We didn't get much squad banter in ME2. I also was wondering what kind of conversation Thane had with Kaidan in the hospital.

I think they even updated Miranda's look a little. They even updated Kelly.

Thane in a long black coat? Yeah, you won't be the only one I think, Ainslinn.

And yeah, DLC would have to be epic, but we all know it likely isn't going to happen.

I also see a lot of people complaining about the ME2 romances. They told us all LI's we be treated equally, but what we saw in ME3 wasn't even close to being equal.

Yes!  So pitiful.

You guys were talking about feeling jealous of other LIs, well... here's what happened to me earlier tonight while I'm watching my husband play:

He found Tali, and 'rekindled' his ME2 romance with like one simple dialogue choice.  Just like that, the "Paramour" achievement popped up.  I grumbled something like "that's it?!" and became annoyed all over again that Thane doesn't count toward the achievement.  He started picking on me about it.  So, come a few quests later, I don't bother telling him about the possible outcomes of the final mission on Rannoch.  Well, Tali offed herself, and he looks at me and says, "Oh well, I guess there won't be any more 'Tali me banana' now." I nearly died laughing.

And now I can't get "Day-O" out of my head.  I guess that's another form of punishment for harboring jealousy of other LIs.

Gunna link my favorite Thane video right now...

Though most of them fill me with joy. I try not to be too bitter. (Robin the Thanemancer's still stuck on Mars and on Esperanza-FRIEND-OF-THANE, I've been putting off the hospital visit for multiplayer).



I've said it before. The kicker for me is that I love so much of this game that the lack of reaction to Thane and clarity in the endings just flummoxes me.

Re: The fetch-quest-that-never-was: I thought that was hilarious, because Shepard's intial reaction is "FETCH QUEST. I WILL DO THIS" and at the same time so tragic because this time, she can't fix it with a fetch quest. If it was intentional, it was a good piece of writing. And if not... Well. It still clicked with me. "Hahah, awwwwww...." Which is good, because I was bawling after that.

This game makes me cry, which is something that's never happened before. Mordin and Thane hit the waterworks.

*PDS scrounges around the Com panel, and produces a bottle of Absinthe....woooo, pretty.  Green.*
PDS- "Howw come you never gave me any of the letters my lover sent me???  SIX MONTHS YOU BASTART!!  Didja think he wass a spyy, or sumthin?  Or what.....ya gotta thing for me, huh.....like wat you see, hmmm?"
*PDS takes a swig from the bottle (spilling much down the front of her N7 Hoodie), starts unzipping her jacket.  Woops, she forgot to put on a bra today......and a shirt.  She can't pull the hoodie completely off her though.....she hasn't let go of the bottle.  PDS starts spinning in a circle, desparate to figure out why she can't take of her jacket.*
Admiral Anderson- "Jebus H Chrisp, Shepard!  What the Hell has gotten into you?!?!?!"
*At that moment Garrus and Kaidan walk in; mouth's agape."
Admiral Anderson- "Collect yourself, woman.  You two.  Get her dressed and sobered up.  Get your arses over to the Terminus Sector, and save those Asari.  Anderson, out!"
Garrus- "I.....have no words. You?
Kaidan- "She's losing it."  <head tilts to the side> "Kinda sexy though."
Garrus- "I'm gonna pretend I didn't hear that.......<whistling>"
