Yeah I don't hear many people say Thane isn't great in combat, that would be insane. He is definitely the best squad member to have with you during the SM, even better than Miranda. I found him, incredibly useful.

There really are some amazing ME cosplays. I remember seeing an incredible one of Aria one time too.

And although Miranda has great abilities (Overload and Warp.) I find that she isn't great with a gun or staying alive, whereas Thane is better.

Thane was weak? Obviously we were playing different games. Him and Garrus, give them sniper rifles and stand back! There were truely amazing moments having those two as my squad members. Thane was anything but weak. Actually him and Garrus, were the two I took with me on every mission. 

Well I took a pureblood Krogan , who was shieldboosted all the time , and a Sniper Legion who was shield boosted all the time , and meself always shield boosted.
That is double-tripple the health , who was Thane ?

Anyway we all have our predjudice and preference for squad mates , but I found those 2 the most optimal aside cause of the build in shielding . but preference wise , Sorry nothing against Thane , but just didn´t find him remarkable enough .

One of the only things I didn't like about Thane was when I would play an Infiltrator, I'd have the perfect shot lined up only to have him steal my kill. Of course, that happens with all squadmates to some degree.

Garrus and Thane are the worst for that Kitteh. I would fire, and then hear 'Scoped and dropped' or 'Return to the sea.'

And my target would be down on the floor. Grrr...

I only recall them in the old CG Trailer. Seriously, "Killing is an art, and I am a Master" should be his catchphrase.

The second one, maybe (but my Shepard would be serious, after all, Grunt says "I am pure krogan; you should be in awe.") but the first one is pretty in character.

 @T3hAnubis.  You're absolutely right about the first one, it sums up pre-Thane Shepard very well ... That second one though .

Grunt doesn't always escape the tank (not a favourite of mine) but when he does, his silly talk gets a bit of a pass because of his age... he might even be as cool as Wrex in about 500 years .

How could you leave Grunt in the tank. He's like a big kid sometimes.

only sometimes :innocent:.  Letting him out is a big risk (okay *I* knew it would be fine but shep doesn't) and he's got imprinted hatred of Turians  and enjoys violence a bit too much.

That is true, but Grunt is like a big baby. A big dangerous baby though.

I wonder how decisions like that will effect ME3. Will he still be in the tank when the Alliance gets their hands on the Normandy. I hope they don't do to much because I want my ship back.

All the other races to seem to have a rivalry with another race. Quarians and geth. Krogans and Salarians/Turians. Batarians and everyone. Even humans and turians. I wonder if drell have either favoured races (apart from the hanar) or a race they have a hatred for?

So far there doesn't seem to be anyone they have a rivalry with. It doesn't seem like there is anyone that they have had a problem with, or who has had a problem with them. Maybe at one time when there were more of them. I don't think the Asari have a rivalry with anyone either. They seem to be loved by everyone.

Thane is a demon in combat...he is brilliant!!...Yep, agreed Thane and Garrus are a killer team, mooks don't stand a chance....I have four fav squaddies and its always hard choosing between them, in any combination they are just team WIN for me on Insanity...Thane, Garrus, Kasumi and Legion...if I could just keep those four permanently in ME3, I would be thrilled!....
