Just dropping in to leave this here. Even Youtube's Transcribed Audio, with its delightfully butchered English, has an idea on how to improve the Thane death scene.
For starters....

So what could be added?

okay... so.. how many?

And now the @Mass Effect twitter is getting ideas for DLC stuff with tweets like:

Somebody: @Mass Effect More feedback, but this more for future DLC. I would like to know more about Haestrom and the geth/reaper interest in that.

@Mass Effect: Sounds like a great idea, thanks!

and...

Somebody else: @Mass Effect Just finished reading Mass Effect: Invasion series; loved them. A DLC to retake Omega w/ Aria in continuation would be awesome.

MassEffect: Great suggestion! Will pass it on to the devs, thanks

I just tweeted: Another DLC idea: Cure Thane!

Everyone please tweet! I'm trying but my internet = evil tonight.

I won't discuss BioWare on my Twitter anymore. If you care about my opinion on puppies & dinosaurs, pull up a seat. Spoiler: both are cool.

Wow. LOL

*Bonk!*Posted Image

After the idiotic amounts of vitriol I saw just in the threadnaught about PR tactics pointed in her general direction, I can't say as I blame the woman. I work in retail, yeah, that's just a store, but I am a manager. I can tell you now that hearing constant complaints can become very tiring on you, physically, spiritually, and mentally. Everyone needs a place they can get away from having to deal with the mass of humanity, and she's carved that wedge out and reclaimed it for herself. I don't blame her. I'm burned out just with the hours I work and the people that come in my relatively small store. Thousands crying at me, over analyzing, nitpicking, and piecemealing everything I say? I couldn't do it, she's already lasted longer than I would. This may be why she's in PR and I am not. I hate retail, for the record. But bills are bills and they gots to be paid.

If I were her, I'd have done the same, or at the least made a separate Twitter for this firestorm. She has been, in lieu of that, posting off and on in said PR thread, and likely elsewhere, though, so it's not like she's cut all communication. She's just reclaimed some space. Nothing wrong with that.

Hm, okay, off topic, but I'm not sure where to ask.

Is there a way to turn on/off the friendly fire? I remember in ME2 that Garrus used to yell at me all the time for clipping him. I miss that. And no, it wasn't intentional.

*once blew up Thane and Jack in tandem with the Cain*

I swear it was an accident. But, no, I'm not so sure there's an option to turn that off. At least I've never seen one. I don't think turning the difficulty down does anything for that, either, unlike Dragon Age, but I've not tested it for certain.

*sigh* Well, it does explain why certain characters keep getting back up during the battle. I certainly wasn't healing them.

It was. And I would always feel bad about it, too. I could feel myself blush in embarrassment, and he's not even real~

Or course, even Garrus would elicit that response, it wasn't so much a reaction to the voice as my massive dislike of screwing up at anything. On a side note: this is why I don't raid, why I get so angry when I fail at things, like healing an instance in Rift a few weeks back. I almost ragequit the character, then redid my soultree, tried again a week later and nailed it. Still. I was so mad at myself. I hate failing. Or screwing up. That includes clipping my squaddies.

"Watch your shots, Shepard."
"That's me, Shepard."

I personally had a problem with Legion regarding friendly fire on his loyalty mission. Pretty much every five seconds  it was "AH! GETH!" *shoots Legion in the face*

I still hear "Shepard-Commander, you are targeting US!"

I really have to replay ME2. I miss it.

Friendly fire, I hated friendly fire in DA, Morrigan would blast me with chain lightning , I got so mad after awhile I left everyone at camp and brought only Zevran with me. LOL...sometimes it was not a wise decision. I don't know how many times I popped Thane in the back of the head with my Widow, "Shepard, that's me" Yeah I know, I saw your head there AFTER I pulled the trigger. And sometimes I just pointed my sniper at him just to watch him kneel.

I used to have this team in ME2:

I remember anytime Thane complimented me on getting a headshot I'd squee a little. And of course there was always Garrus' enthusiastic "NICE SHOOTING!"

Oh god I know, I couldn't tell Legion apart from any of the other Geth so I'd unload a clip on him before realizing what I was doing. Damn flashlight heads!

All this ME2 talk makes me want to replay the game again with a modded Thane Shepard.

ME3 isn't very mod friendly, all my attempts to have my Shepard appear as Thane always crashes the client. D:

This is making me miss ME2.

I love modding, but the only thing I'm able to mod in ME3 is my shepard. It was so much easier before.

Too lazy to edit again. Did anyone else get killed staring at Thane's ass?

My team as well, I enjoyed listening to them flatter me. I believe Thane would say "Perfect shot" and sometimes Garrus would go on about his rifle haha I love em both. I'm so playing ME2 again soon.

His coat was in the way.  I was staring at everything else on him, however.  :wub::devil:

Guilty and getting wiped out when he's parked next to me behind a crate is kinda embarrassing...Ooooh Thane, we are all alone behind this crate....Critical Mission Failure.  I was also guilty of running out of cover if heard that noise Thane makes when he's being hit, I'd run out to protect him and well, it sometimes didn't work out well for me.
