And for the record, Tumblr has some of the most NSFW stuff I have ever seen! LOL Even I had to stop and go "wooooow".
Also, I can't even draw a good stick figure.

Anywho, while I was going through stuff I had a flashback on one of the funniest moments I ever had in ME2. During Grunt's recruitment mission, before you get to the pervie tank Krogan that appears to be staring at Shep's chest, there are a bunch of mercs up in the rafters in front of you and a couple off to the left, need a sniper to get them at that angle. Well, Thane and Shep were bunkered down behind the same mini wall and he was standing facing left aiming at the mercs and I intended to do the same but accidentally swung right. Shep on her knees, Thane well, the position was priceless. Next thing you know my dang Shep started glitching and she looked like she was bobbing, hopping, twitching whatever, it was the biggest single case of "OMG, that is so wrong" I'd ever had in the game. Too bad it was on the xbox, I so totally would have recorded that but I've never been able to recreate it on the PC.

So upon scouring all my folders, I realized that I have no NSFW stuff on Thane but apparently I must have gotten drunk one night and decided that it would be funny to screenshot a bunch of stuff from DA:O. I have an embarrassingly large amount of NSFW stuff with my Warden and Zevran. Ouch, I even blushed. Sometimes mods can be a bad thing.

Okay, now I want to go back into my ME2 game save edit and see that for myself, absolutely hilarious! (Something similar happened in another playthrough)
I it was on the Colector Ship and that godforsaken Praetorian. Thane unfourtunately tried to jump out of cover (the same as the one my Shep used) just as the Praetorian got it's barriers up. And on Insanity that's instant death (even for an upgraded Shepard) plus, you can't waste your Medi-Gel. So Thane stayed down. Funny part was becaus of the "ragdoll" physics" He was leaning against the wall with his hand at an ehem..*private area*. At first I didn't notice and went, "Aahh OMG Praetorian RUN!!! And then I got back to the same cover where Thane was and..my Shepards face was looking at the "wrong" place...And I was like OMG did I just...
Aand then bam!
Critical Mission Failure!
But it was so worth it!
Oh,and your mention of Zevran has gotten me inspired for an artpiece of Thane and Zevran!
(Gah! My artistic muses are overloaded at this point...)

And another thing came to my mind: How does it come that I feel so depressed when I saw Thane fight Kai Leng? At first I had no clue but now I think it is because I still remember him in his best days sending bad guys like Leng with only one hit of his fist to hell and back, but during that scene he is only a shadow of his former self.
Does anyone else here feels depressed or does everybody see only how heroic he is in that scene?
Maybe I am crazy or stupid to feel the way I do. **shrugs shoulders, hoping for some comforting word**

It upsets me too. In fact I am so depressed about it that I started playing ME2 again. I need me some Thane therapy.

The doctor makes it sound like Thane would survive the stab wound if not for the complications due to Kepral's. So it's the disease that ultimately kills him - whether he fights Kai Leng or not. D:

I feel the same way. It is depressing to see him so weakened but he still managed to kick-ass in spite of it. I was proud of him. I just wish he had killed Kai Leng.
Another thing that upsets me a great deal about the scene is how Shepard (and the squadmates) just stand there watching! When Thane sent Kai Leng into a sprawl across the room it was the perfect opportunity for Shep and the others to start shooting and help Thane incapacitate him but no.... Thane had to get stabbed for dramatic effect. <_<
You'd think Shepard would show more concern, but nope. She should have at least left a squadmate to help him instead of just leaving him alone while he bleeds out against a wall waiting for Bailey.
The whole thing is extremely upsetting. I hate what BioWare did with him in ME3.

That part made me rage. It was so cold and impersonal.

It's just so stupid to have them standing there with there guns pointed at him. It's like they forgot how to shoot.
I hated how Shepard just left him there. She showed more concern when Kaidan was almost killed.

@Eliza Yes, that fight made me sad. I noticed he did not have the fire in him of his previous fights. While he did pull off some good moves, he was just a shadow of his former self. Ugh, irritates me. My Shep would NEVER in a million years allow anyone to cause any harm to Thane. I saw it coming, I saw the extended sword and Thane heading right for it, my Shep was a biotic freight train and would have charged right into him like a battering ram. Epic Fail on BW's part. The least they could have done for a romanced Thane is throw in a Paragon Interrupt there and have Shep stop that. You are not crazy for feeling the way you do and you are not alone in feeling it.
Bold for truth. That would have been awesome. Too bad bw dropped the ball. Between the ****ting treatment of *most* of the ME2 characters, the graphic and the ending, I would say that the Miss Effect 3 is one of the worst games I have played in a long time.
But I'm also not giving up.

That’s what I need most in these times of disappointment.
Yes, it would have been nice to see Thane kill KL. I never will understand why this guy had to be in the game (may be just fan service for those who read the books or to make people get interested in the novels).
And yes, it is a shame that Shep just stands there doing nothing to help killing this bastard. Why did she personally have to go after KL when Thane was hurt? It would be enough to send her squadmates after him and take care of Thane herself, especially when he is her LI.
And why not let Thane die in her arms then (in case he even had to die because for the drama) but let him die in the hospital. The dialog of the leaked script some of you posted some pages ago would have been perfect for this scene. I read it again today and could not hold my tears. It’s so lovely. After reading I watched my video of the death scene in the game, wondering why my Shep did not even had tears in her eyes when saying goodbye. The only thing that may be an excuse for her cold behavior can be that she is to overwhelmed by her pain to react in a proper way. But in this case she should have returned to the Normandy and start showing her true feeling alone in her cabin. But she did not even this (but still felt sad about the boy on Earth she could not save).
And why the hell did she not tell Kaidan the truth about Thane when he asked her about the rumors? Why is there no option to say straight away that she is is love with this assassin and the Kaidan knows him ‘cause they talked in the hospital? I will never get it why we do not get this option. That’s unfair.

But I still wanted to believe they wouldn't kill him off that way. That there would be an option to save him somehow.
NOPE.
Thane was still amazing during some of that fight and like he said "That assassin should be embarassed. A terminally ill Drell managed to stop him from reaching his target."
I was annoyed that they made him lunge toward a sword though. That was stupid.
I just cannot enjoy that scene at all.
