They must hate Thane, cause seriously, even though we are among the better behaved threads, if they saw those six pages from a couple of days ago they definitely would have popped their heads in!

I was going to say something about the way the writers/devs must dislike female gamers, but I started writing things I probably shouldn't have so I erased it and decided to post a little thing I recommend people use when faced with belligerent trolls:

A Troll Rebuttal: Why Thane's Death and Romance was Entirely Inadequate

1) There was no cure, despite CDN mention of Medigel for the lungs, the Hanar cure, and Thane's transplant candidacy, mentioned in ME2 and Lair of the Shadow Broker.
2)There was a shameful lack of romantic dialogue.
3) Barely any difference between a friendShep's dialogue and a romanceShep's.
4) Only one, Keprals/VS oriented dialogue with Thane before he died.
5) No shared mission with Thane. The side mission that really should have been his went to... Kasumi??
6) The fight with Kai-Leng was stupid (why was Shep+others just standing there? Why close the distance, Thane, when Leng had a sword?) Also, a bit nonsensical and pointless; Thane dies trying to save the Salarian councilor, an act that can be replaced by several other characters, and that has no real connection or significance to Thane.
7) The death scene was impersonal, the same for both friendShep and a romanceShep's.
8) After he died, no one save Kai-Leng mentioned Thane's name again. No chance for Shepard to mourn or talk about him with others, romanced or not.

Tali thread...2 months ago, but they were having problems. We must be very well behaved.
Liara thread, mainly Sylvf...16 days ago and actually interacting with them.

Ashley thread, last one was Jessica, 2 months ago...interacting
Miranda thread, priestly doing the ban hammer and Jessica, 26 days ago...some interaction

Kaidan thread, Woo and Priestly, troll removal and a live chat announcement...1 month ago

A Kelly thread, Dusty Everman being helpful (her name was on the memorial properly)...41 minutes ago (okay, seriously people ambiently talk about *her* death? FML)

I don't get it. I *know* we are well behaved but seriously. There's no bw interaction on Jacob's thread either. I...I am actually kind of angry about this.

Wow. That's just.. wow. I think it must be because they know they really screwed up, right? Why else would they completely ignore us, on top of already forgetting about us?

Ken and Gabby apparently have a bug where they only have a limited amount of dialogue if Ashley is on board the Normandy. Or some stupid **** like that.

Let's just pray that it's because they are too embarressed to say anything here, and they have taken our arguments into consideration..

Maybe we should swear and shout more? That way they would at least comment telling us to mind our language and might even get a glimpse of what we actually have to say?

Well, I just feel put out now. Not even one person can say, "Even we are saddened by Thane's death" not even a BW interaction on that? Thane can't even get mourned on here. Well he has us and we love him.

Let's hope so, or that they fear what we will do to them if they ever do step into this thread. Cause they have to know by now how we feel about them screwing us over.

But just in case it is the horrible, swearing shouts that is it:

 Just got through Thane's death.  I have romanced Thane in most of my fem!Shep playthroughs, but when I heard about what happened to Thane in ME3, I went back to the start and made my canon Shepard romance Kaidan, then Garrus.  I know that Kaidan and Garrus are both awesome, but...  

IDK.  I felt that Thane's death was lacking even from a friendly perspective.  My Shep just kind of stood there, staring stoically (almost looking bored) into space.  And then no one ever references him again.  If Mordin dies, he gets special lines from lots of characters, but not Thane.  God, so depressing.  Thane was such a wonderful character, too.  It's a shame that they didn't develop his character more.  I mean, all the time and resources they spent on some of the so-so, borderline annoying new characters (Vega and Allers) -- not to mention all the pointless fetch & carry quests -- could've been better utilized developing meatier plotlines for Miranda, Jacob and Thane, imho.

*sobs dramatically*  Especially Thane...
