Lol she was so useless in ME2 as well. I liked her, but I didn't think she deserved the Paramour achievement, especially over Thane.

Traynor was way more useful and integral to the plot in ME3, but at least if she get's to stay I love you then Shep should be able to say 'I love you' to Thane

Ha! I've seen this, very accurate. There should be one for romances:

We here at Bioware take pride in character development and romances for all our players.

For example, there are many ways to help your friends and your romanced partners in ME3, and although ME2 characters are not squadmembers in ME3, they will get satisfying conclusions to their story arcs and romances.

For example, with Thane:

*pulls out a paper chatterbox with 'death' written on all 4 squares*

.. you can let him die, OR, you can let him die later!

Exactly. Bioware may have tossed our favorite characters out of the airlock, but I love Thane and he will live happily ever after in my mind. I refuse to let such a wonderful character die.
I wish I could say what I really feel about the writers but I know hateful words will only set our cause back. I truly believe they don't care, and when the time comes for them to look for me, for once I won't be there with open arms.

That are exactly what Thane and Shepard have got in my story after the galaxcy is saved.:Sweet little Drell-Human and  Human-Drell babies (with a little help of Mordin, of course). My Shep and Thane retire, spend much time together just being happy.
Here are more of my ideas: After a while Thanes starts a new career as an author, writing adventure stories based on his former jobs (thanks do his excellent memories they seem to be very detailed and realistic), travel guides for Kahje and books about the soul names of the Hanars and some philosophical stuff.
Oh, and he and Shep raise a foundation for the forgotten kids on the Citadel named "Dralafar".

Seems, I had so much stupid ideas about the Shep/Thane future bevor ME 3 was released.

Your stories sound awesome.
 
I've said this before to another writer, don't forget Thane just because bioware has.
If he lives on in your heart he will never be forgotten. I suck at writing, so please don't give up.

Heh heh....You know Casey looks like this ex boyfriend I had in high school..well, he had blonde hair and blue eyes but the face...almost identical.  I ran into him last week while shopping and he was trying to tell me about his new baby girl and all that kept going through my mind was that photo, "You romanced someone from ME2?  Hahahahahaha"  

@mayra great song, kinda like Celine myself, not many know it as I'm mostly listening to stuff like Marilyn Manson/ICP, might ruin my rep if too many found out   So, my old man was listening to some 80s stuff last night on youtube and he started playing something and it struck me enough to make me tear up.  I walked over and shut the door that separates our hidey hole rooms.  I think it was "Meet Me Halfway" by Kenny Loggins.  

@stwu thanks for posting that pic, I know it made me smile and has sent my mind in that direction that heads straight down Thane's zipper and into Gutter Island.    It was the half smile, "hmmmm, what's he thinking about?"  And off I went.....

I hate that they sold their souls to EA  it was probably them that forced MP and all the new characters like Allers and Vega for publicity.. or I like to think so, because I still have hope and love for bioware!

I read an article somewhere saying that a lot of the resources bioware had would have gone into MP, considering it's quite good overall, and as a result maybe the endings and other things (ME2 romances) suffered. So it's not just that they have MP, but because it is quite decent.

Hugs to everyone, yes add my tears to the bucket or the dam.  I know how everyone feels.  This is like losing a loved one without being able to say goodbye, a really bad break up where you didn't get a chance to say what was on your mind, and let's not just forget the giant middle finger that was thrown at us to boot.  I'm not hating on anyone else but I have gotten to the point where I see others who complain about not having enough in their romance (even though they lead the popularity contest) and I feel like the girl who is watching her ex boyfriend in the arms of my ex best friend.  It's painful for me to see.

Have I cried, yes, do I still cry, yes I do.  I am disappointed and that is the hardest feeling for me to overcome or deal with.  I can deal with angry, upset, mad, pissed off, sad but this feeling of disappointment, yuck.  I've been trying to play ME2 again, it's nice to see Thane but there is still a sickness in the pit of my stomach and a pain in my heart.  I did try to go for the remaining achievements in FFXIII but as soon as Snow opened his mouth, I heard Kai Leng and I cried...then didn't want to play it.

Oh, Sihas, I just tried the option when first talking to Thane that Shep is still together with Kaidan (I avoided this before but were curious now and gave it a try just to get the dialog).
Well, I always Shep couldn't behave worse as she does when picking the option that it's over with Kaidan but now I know better. Even it is heartbreaking to tell Thane that you are still together with Kaidan the worst of all is that you can still pick the "I have some private time" option after this! I cannot believe it! She is treating Thane like crap. **facepalm**
What is going on in Shep's crazy mind? She must be really, really desperate or this is some special kind of reaper indoctrination. I don't get it, I really don't get it.

Beautiful art and a lovely idea,as well; we cannot forget Thane because BW did-their dropped ball, not ours! I've not written fanfiction in ages and started now...because I felt I really needed to! Our Shepards were deprived of a future with their Thane by BW-at least for the time being, I still have hope- but we cannot give up!

EDIT-and a spot of randomness: I can see the image I quoted!! Yay,lol-they didn't like me till now, sigh!

I refuse to give BW/EA any more tears.  I'm done.  I also wonder if they think "hey, everyone is upset and crying, so it WAS emotional - job well done!"  I DO NOT WANT THAT.  Under no circumstance do I want them to think that they DID A GOOD JOB WITH THANE.    
No one is crying because it was HANDLED WELL.  Everyone (including me!) is upset at how poorly it WAS handled - which equals - NOT HANDLED AT ALL. 

Let's just leave Thane in a hospital - if Shep shows up, awesome.  If not, oh well, he dies off screen.  Super writing, right there.   I want them to hear the fanbase, whevever they may be, and own up to this fiasco.  I want THANE and his romance fixed.  I want my Shep to be happy (or at least alive with Thane).  I'm just so angry that he dies - it's the easy way out.  No character development - let's just kill him - it's easier.  And the number of guys I come across on MP that can't believe how badly he was written is astonishing.  Even these guys recognize how awful it was, and they didn't even romance him!

The whole of ME3 just makes me want to rage.  Sloppy stories, poorly written characters, and good lord the graphics - terrible.  Glitches, bugs abound! 

And Casey Hudson looks like Zach Quinto (Cylar from Heroes and Spock from new Star Trek).  Love that pic. 

Sorry for wall-o-text and the rage.  So disappointed and so tired of wanting to cry anytime I hear/think/see Thane and the horribleness that is his role in ME3.  I can't even bring myself to watch any youtube stuff.
