Thanks Solarom.
Yeah, I lost my whole, "To give you hope" optimism for a moment and was just like WHYyyyyyyyyyy.
Thane had some wonderful lines. Just wish Shep had, ya know, one or two.
And I agree. His personality and storyline were lacking for me in 3, personally. There wasn't really any of either. No real conversations, his story is just "In Huerta sick, come to fight Kai Leng, get put in hospital, die" basically.
It's just sad that they created something so wonderful, and then threw it away.
Indeed. ME3 had some great scenes, and some plot threads were resolved in a profound way that showed that the people who worked on them
cared. And then there were
other scenes and plot threads that felt just... rushed, like a brush-off, like they had a list of small to-dos to just check off in as simple and direct way as possible.
Gotta have Jacob, but no one liked him, so he'll be the cheating one. Check.
Gotta have Thane. He's sick so he'll die. Easy. Check.
Et cetera.
What bugs me the most (at least in this second =) is that ME3 was the end, the final installment. I just wanted to scream: "Come on, Bioware, those chacaters - character we're in love with - will never ever demand your attention/time/money again. Shepard's story is done right? And so is that of his/her friends and lovers. Work on them well - for the
very last time." No such luck.
