I'm glad that all of the LI's got some representation in the book and the community pulled together, with your awesome leadership Visii! But I won't deny that I was tickled pink that Thane got so much love and representation.
You have to hear us now Bioware, we love Thane!

Seconded!! This is so exciting!:D I hope the love does indeed get them to hear now-for Thane, primarily, but the other ME2 LIs, as well!:):)

I always laugh my head off at the Long Walk soundfiles.

"I...can see...the...entrance..."
"I can't hold out...much longer..."

Then the grunting and stuff

I always laugh my head off
Is that bad of me?

I was getting a kick out of a lot of them until I listened to the "You look beautiful, Siha...." line.

Then I was like awwww, now I've made myself sad. Why did they cut that line I wonder? Not that I'd have heard it in my game, lol. Thane will ALWAYS survive the SM! Hold the Drell!

Today I have been completely bi-polar.  One minute I am as giddy as a school girl waiting for recess, the next, I'm in a state of malaise.....morose.....So, when 12:45 strolled around, I found myself driving my husband to his Doctor appointments.  The car has an older Satelite Radio station console in it that I have never properly learned to use (the manual, I ***t you not, is 200+ pages), and as a result of this, I simply flip the arrow button between station 7 thru 10.
Station 7 = the '70's, Station 8 = the '80's, Station 9.....yeah, yeah, you get the idea.

So I had it on the '80's station, and I am in sort of the "blue" mood of my bi-polar state, and I swear.....every song was reminding me of Thane!Posted Image  First song on was 'Take my Breath Away', by Berlin, next was 'I'll Be There for You', by Bon Jovi, then 'Never Run Away', by Heart (the words surprisingly work for a romanced Thane).  I literally was starting to crack, but then the '80's gods saw fit to give me a "reprive" with Murry Head and his song "One Night in Bangkok".........couldn't get that song to work for Thane even if I tried!  That is when it really dawned on my that I was trying WAYYYYY to hard to hear "Thane" in every song playing.......busted out laughing!  Husband looks at me with a somewhat concerned face.....I chose to wave him off rather than explain......I think that was a smart move.Posted ImagePosted Image

I've been playing this version of Beyond The Sea for a while now and I always get emotional.  This song should be in your Shrios playlist you guys: louvette.tumblr.com/post/20342683736/this-beautiful-version-of-beyond-the-sea-by

I wonder how many husbands get how awesome Thane is. I don't know if mine really knows how infatuated I am or if he just ignores it...

My husband doesn't get it at all. He definitely knows how much I love Thane. He's seen my plushie, and the drawing I have on the wall. He thinks I'm crazy, but I don't care.

My fiance at first had the 'it's just a game, get over it,' mentality. But now that he sees how much it means to me, he's more supportive and tries to comfort me when I'm feeling down about Thane or the game in general.

I guess him finally  actually playing the games has made him understand what awesome characters the game has. He totally loves Liara and I don't care. He doesn't mind that I talk about Thane or voice out loud my naughty thoughts about him LOL. I already told him that if Thane, Kaidan, Fenris, Zevran, or Alistair were real, he would be in big trouble because I'd probably would leave him for one of them

Haha I was laughing at the grunting too :P

But there are some lines I'm curious about.. pretty sure these weren't in the game:

'siha, I've made a living by killing those who deserved to die...we must struggle that we do not become what we hate' - is that from his LM? Not sure..

'we can't stay here siha...we must find our path' - maybe was meant for a specific mission?

'you have many burdens siha...remember that I'll help you carry them' - :crying: I really wish he had said this in the game somewhere.. it would have been perfect for ME3 at least

"we'll see about that' - this one is just damn sexy

He says that if you ponder keeping the Collector base intact. Got it in my games.

The first one is said during the talk with TIM on the platform before deciding whether to destroy or keep the collector base.  There is a direct path you have to take, I just got up and can't remember it.  But I think you have to be willing to listen to TIM and be hesitant in destroying it.

The others I don't know exactly and it sucks that I renamed them because then I'd have some clue as to where they came from. I'm guessing here but the "find our path" was lumped into the end game/collector base sound files. Burdens one is lumped into the convos that occured in life support and the we'll see about that, well I really have no clue where I originally found it.

I think most of our significant others have been relatively understanding of our mental states over these past few weeks.  Hopefully we don't drive them to secretly making Thane voodoo dolls, or burning his likeness in effigy because we prattle on too much.........Posted Image

Ah ok cool, I always just went straight to 'Let's blow it up!' so I never heart that.

There's another one:

'you told me once...you had a dream as a child.. I remember it-' - it sounds to me like it breaks off at the end, I'm not sure.. could have been a cut line of him talking to Kolyat, but for some reason it sounds like he's talking to someone older..

awwww....Mouse.  I have a soft spot for him ever since my first play through with my Abel Shepard.  That was my "green" run....had no idea what I was doing, and I had a" Pavlov's Dog's" reaction to interrupts.  RT...Click! Take the interrupt......I actually hit the poor kid...Mr. Krios was none to happy with me.  Poor Abel.....he did so much wrong.Posted Image

Makes me drool too and now I must go find something completely dirty to do while this is still burned in my head.

We love you too <3

When quoting this the only thing visible in my little screen is his thighs and crotch...not complaining though.  :o
