Thane photos, so many of them!*is happy right now*

Replaying ME2...just got Thane again this morning...walking into Life Support and seeing him there made me smile!

Ok, the thing I have ALWAYS done in my stuff is keep it in Word format with big blazing letters before and after anything that may be too graphic. Then I would make another full copy, cut it out and replace it with something much tamer and leaving stuff to the imagination. The problem I had in the past was different people with different tastes, if I go graphic on the first instance then I best do it on all parts or I get to hear, "why did you suddenly go soft (no pun) on the rest?" Yes, people would put the no pun in there too.

I can tell you that I'm not describing every detail and ridge and no gushers (never been able to seriously write it, I laugh too much and in turn I end up turning what is supposed to be serious into a joke).

And the above pic, the sound file I heard last night comes to mind. I laughed so hard then said, "Damn, someone get this guy some lotion, a magazine, and privacy."

I'm playing ME2 and I'm up to recruiting Thane now This is helping me cope with ME3 right now..

I thought about doing it again. I did last week and finished it a couple of days ago and other than a few parts that made me cry... "I'll always be here to talk", "seems there will be no one to mourn me when I die", "time for me is short Siha but any I have is yours to take" and the cabin scene (always made me tear up)... I truly had fun with Thane by Shep's side. The laughs, the combat talk, using her sniper scope for inappropriate things, just knowing he was in life support, the conversations, and some other stuff was worth the few tears.

One of these days I will play the game in its entirety and stop modding Thane in right after Freedom's Progress, well I could put him in during it but it cuts off the in the middle of the Veetor convo since Jacob isn't there, and actually do his RM. I'm so impatient and don't like waiting to get him. Besides, I like taking him to get Garrus, I like leaving Zaeed with Garrus and running off with Thane and all those vorcha during Mordin's RM are too fun to pick off with my Shep/Thane sniper combo.

Awwww, heck with it, I'm going back in and creating Malificent..the one who kills everyone at the end except Thane and one other person.

Same here!! Even if this Shepard is romancing Garrus, sigh-well, if I can manage to resist Thane, that is!!

Don't resist the Green.......

I am also playing ME2; trying to finish up my Mace run.  Like nearly all my femSheps, she is exclusive to Thane (no previous romance). Because Ulee and Cate (Evan isn't finished yet either), are forever in a holding pattern, I have decided to write a specific ending for Mace, based on her choices/romance/personality, ect..., that will finish out her story line without ever feeling like  her story is "lacking" because I refuse to bring her into me3.  IF they so happen to add new Thane elements to me3, well.......... 

I just like the idea of completing the storyline for ONE of my Sheps, even if it dabbles in to FanFic territory.  Ulee is stuck suckin' up the bourbon at Kasumi's bar, and Cate (after deleting her out of me3) is hold up with Thane in the Captain's Loft.......she is most likely pacing while Thane is trying to get her to relax.  Cate's my very logical, "Type A" Shepard.

I am sooo not sure how coherent any of this is.......not enough coffee yet.

I love the idea of writing your own story I have just began a new ME2 as well - I am also not quite sure if I should play Alice's story furthermore and import her into ME3. But my true love is just my Blue Shep and she is stucking in something which is hurting that much -.- I hate what they done to him.... 

Even if the background is just tragic and sad I love Ulee She is doing the only right thing in fact.... Perhaps I should just talk to Blue and tell her start drinking and hallucinating. Perhaps it would help her as well

Well I started Malificent (again..deleted the other one of her long ago) and I lasted 2 minutes on the Normandy before I ripped the USB drive out of my xbox and edited my game save. Thane is now parked in Life Support. I really have no patience. There goes his RM but oh well. Like always I went in there and get this, "Shepard remember when we met on Illium I mentioned I was dying." Yeah sure...LOL...nope, I used Space Magic to teleport you to the Normandy but go on, I'm drooling... I mean listening.

So now on to play disc checkers because he wants to go save Kolyat. Sigh, we haven't gotten a chance to recruit even one person yet. Too bad I don't have it in me to play ME3, Mali will have that Death Wall nearly filled from the moment she gets back on the Normandy. She's the one who after the Collector Base has Thane, Joker, and one other random person left...she even gets Dr. Chakwas killed.

Yeah, I've just been busy with all this protest stuff, art, writing that monstrous letter for PAX...

I think I need to play ME2 again to kickstart my muses, which I'm planning to do.

As for sexy fanfiction, it's not that I don't like it.  I've read many that I adore.  I believe it's more so that it has to fit into my story.  My Shepard is a Paragon, quite reserved and hesitant about even beginning a relationship (at least so far in my series).  She wants to get to know Thane more as a person, unravel the mystery behind him.  The attraction is definitely there, but I want to build and deepen the relationship over the course of several stories.

When I do write love scenes, I'd like to plan them out carefully and ensure they're appropriate.  I tend to focus on emotion and dialogue more than anything else in my writing.

So yes, I will be writing love scenes.  However, I'm gonna try and keep it tasteful.  Mostly.  :innocent:

I have an ME2 playthrough going now. I love going into Life Support. I can just stand there and watch him.

@utaker - Malificent seems to hold up to her name!! HA!

We need some screenies of these new ME2 Sheps a number of us are making......I'll just try and get ones with Thane in them as well...you know.....stay on thread topic.

As for FanFic; I have never released any fic I have ever written, but I have no problem with sex in fic. Either the story calls for it, or it doesn't. As far as explicitness.....again, just depends on the scene and characters in question. All my Sheps are more on the Paragon/Paragade side; all but one (who doesn't even exist anymore) was more than willing to get Bizzeee with Thane.....comfort/release in the face of impossible odds, kinda thing.....I do always imagine, once the SM is over and Shep and Thane both obviously made it, that more serious talks about "them" do occur.

Looking forward to reading all of the stories you Thanemancer are coming up with.

Ah yes, my Malificent when I first created her back in ME1, she was so awful...killed Wrex, the Council, you can imagine how Feros and Zhu's Hope went, I fully intended to kill her off in ME2 but even my most evil of Shep's melted a bit around Thane. She couldn't kill the factory workers during Zaeed's mission (she had Thane with her and I could feel his disapproval as I thought about it), so she just shot Zaeed instead. Since I deleted her, I had go back today and recreate her.

Hope is the closest I have to a Paragon and when I say closest it's because there are some things even I can't resist doing. Punching the reporter, neck snapping the dude during Miranda's loyalty mission, smacking the crap out of Elias, taking the Renegade option when breaking up Tali and Legion, alas, I do not have one perfect Paragon. I had planned to have one perfect Renegade but Thane threw a wrench into that, can't be mean to him.

Heh, my main-and currently heartbroken-Shepard, Sam, killed Wrex and the Council in ME1; it was for the greater good and she has always been a paragon with minor renegade touches-because some things HAVE to be done the renegade way, hehe!I really can't be evil in games, sigh, especially ME, been trying to make my second Shepard-who was to romance Garrus and wound up with Thane, as well, because I couldn't resist,lol-renegade; I failed, epically, I just can't bring myself to do it!

Hmmm...I don't know maybe the new council from ME2.  I never saw them though, when I killed the other council they refused to meet with Shep.  I really don't blame them.
