Shep: I don't know what to do, he's been like this since playing that game.
Kolyat: I get my father back and now I have to watch him fall apart.

Kolyat: I go in there to talk to him about everything. I try to make him happy. I talk about my day, he's happy then starts to mope. I bring you up and well....
Shep: Do you still hate me? Are you still thinking I'm replacing your mother? I am not and I would never.

Shep: I need to know, it could help your father.
Kolyat: No, it won't help him but when he talks about you, he slips into memory sometimes. (look of terror spreads across his face)

Yeah, I've just been busy with all this protest stuff, art, writing that monstrous letter for PAX...

I think I need to play ME2 again to kickstart my muses, which I'm planning to do.

As for sexy fanfiction, it's not that I don't like it.  I've read many that I adore.  I believe it's more so that it has to fit into my story.  My Shepard is a Paragon, quite reserved and hesitant about even beginning a relationship (at least so far in my series).  She wants to get to know Thane more as a person, unravel the mystery behind him.  The attraction is definitely there, but I want to build and deepen the relationship over the course of several stories.

When I do write love scenes, I'd like to plan them out carefully and ensure they're appropriate.  I tend to focus on emotion and dialogue more than anything else in my writing.

So yes, I will be writing love scenes.  However, I'm gonna try and keep it tasteful.  Mostly.  :innocent:

I understand that.
I'll probably go back and play ME2 myself.

About the kind of fanfic. I like the sexy ones and the not so sexy ones. Just as long as it's good.

I wonder if they will even think about him for that...since they were horrible monsters to him.
I want Thane cure/romance option AND ending love with him.  That seems like a lot to ask

Don't forget ME2 LI's in "new" ending dlc..Thane <3 give him back to us.

I'm not sold on this "new" content for the endings.  Considering it's all cinematics and cut scenes, I feel that it really isn't going to change or add anything for me.  I'm thinking more like a "better explanation" to the endings then fundamentally changing anything. 

PS - Not sure how reliable but found a few things on the interwebs that said that Jennifer Hale hasn't recorded any new dialogue, so can't imagine the "new" endings are great.

I know! My Shep is too lonely to go through ME3 again, and I can only ever romance Thane so I might as well digitally burn my digital copy but I'm gonna wait, I still have some faith in Bioware. Even if it's just a little bit, I WANT then to fix this so much.

Just want fair LI treatment...Shepard is lonely.
Don't forget ME2 LI's in "new" ending dlc..Thane <3 give him back to us.

I'm not sold on this "new" content for the endings.  Considering it's all cinematics and cut scenes, I feel that it really isn't going to change or add anything for me.  I'm thinking more like a "better explanation" to the endings then fundamentally changing anything. 

PS - Not sure how reliable but found a few things on the interwebs that said that Jennifer Hale hasn't recorded any new dialogue, so can't imagine the "new" endings are great. 

I agree this "new ending" isn't going to change stuff but if I see a cutscene reuniting shepard and liara *cough*writer's pet*cough* i'm going to throw up. I'm saying if there is any bit of a hint of happiness with shepard and LI...and no option for Thane...I'm going to be super pissed.
At least if we "ask"   about including him in the "fancy pictures dlc" maybe that will help them take into consideration the horrible atrocity they've commited to Thane in general. We cannot let them forget him again!!!

Edit  i know people love liara. and i don't have a problem with her per say..Hell i'd be more than happy to bring her and feron desert visiting with me and thane <3 for a bit.. just the special treatment her character received...I frown upon that.

Unless they fix Thane's romance then the new endings won't do us any good anyway. Thane will still be dead.
I don't think it's a lot to ask. This is all we have ever wanted.
There have been other fanbases that have made one demand after another and bioware just gives it to them.
We never demanded they do anything. All we did was ask. It's not unrealistic for us to want equal treatment for Thane and the rest of the ME2 LI's.
