Check this out! Visii et al made an impression! Plus we keep tweeting about it! He's referring to the PAX LI Book.

@BioEvilChris @kotyhaidar I looked at it on the plane ride. Some great stuff. I'll talk about it with @CaseyDHudson on Monday.

This sounds promising.
With this and the Thane fanbook maybe they will fix the ME2 romances.

Hey, just wanted to say that I finally got to the moment of Thane's death. Now I can fully understand your frustration. It felt like he was some kind of minor NPC...oh wait, minor NPC (Primarch's son) got more attention<_< And I can't even talk to Kolyat afterwards, to console him:( Great writing, Bioware.

Yup.....he's not even listed as a "person of interest" in the guide book (and his LI isn't mentioned either).  Yet the Dr. at Grissom Academy (forgetting her name....the one that "gets it on" with Anderson in the last ME book...bah), who has the SAME number of lines as Thane, gets listed as a person of interest.  No codex entry under Known Associates, no mention from other squadmates.............................<wimper>

Who wants "Choklit"?

If this happens - even if it doesn't - you guys did an awesome job and should be extremely proud. I'm kicking myself for not submitting anything - I'm not an artist, unless spirograph-ish doodles on sticky notes count, but I do a lot of writing. I was just concerned that my thoughts would get all jumbled and come off as "WHY U NO LIKE THANE ARGHARGHARGH", because, when I got right down to it, that was what has been going through my head regarding BioWare since finishing ME3. Thankfully, a lot of you guys said exactly what I wanted to say, and what all the Thane fans outside the BSN wanted to say, I'm sure.

We've got a chance here. Posted Image

Voted...Thane of course. Now it is time to open those cadbury eggs my Mom always gets me for Easter. Heh, I poke a hole in them and suck out the center. It makes my kids give me the "oh gross" face and that right there is why I do it.

You know what would be awesome? If the fanbooks DO convince the devs to do something regarding Thane and one of you gets an in-game shout-out like Jeirt did.

Oh, and I voted too. Come on, we can catch Garrus.

<giggle/snort>  I do that too.........I even make the noise just to see my husband give me the..."do you mind?!?" expression.  Hehe!

Ok, off to the store....gotta get chicken, arugala, cheese, and wine......Hell; I'll just tote this oversized laptop of mine down to the store with me, since apparently I've decided to post my grocery list on the thread.  Damn, this is why I stopped posting on Facebook!....................help.

I just read through most of the letters in 'the book' and saved a copy of the PDF, thanks Visii for making it available for us! The art was so lovely and I loved reading all the letters. The fact that the writers are mentioning the book gives me some hope that maybe we will get to see Thane again and I can actually play ME3 again without wanting to put my fist through my computer screen. :P

Oh and I voted for our boy too on the latest poll!

Challenge accepted :P

Speaking of Jeirt, has anyone seen her around since ME3 was released?  I miss her and her crazy.

Not gonna lie guys I cried a lot while I was making this.  I wished we had the option to hold him one last time and tell him we loved him. :crying:  BioWare should really fix the way Thane was treated in ME3.  I hope they do.

This is just beautiful Lyd.
We should have had this option. I really hope they fix his romance as well.

I agree coldwetn0se. I want Thane alive too.

Thanks guys. I know you all rather see Thane back like he was in ME2 and not something depressing like the one I just did, but this was just something I needed to make, to get it out of my system. I'll make another Shrios piece that's not depressing I promise :)

Speaking of which, I took my flycam and crawled under the table in life support.  Needless to say, my husband caught me giggling and responded with, "you are a perverted creep."  My response, "Nooooo, it's Shepard, she can't help herself."  I completely suck at posting images.

Noooooooooo!! Don't say that.....post!!!!!!  Or send them to me, and I'll post them......I'll help you, which may be a humorous endevour, since I have followed in the footsteps of my Ulee....(psssst....PDS).  Fudge!  I may just have to turn on Mace's run in ME2.....mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, Thane.................I'm not well............Posted Image

Omg! I didn't go on the BSN forums back then so I had no idea about this :o That's awesome, she clearly made quite the impression :D I can't believe after they even threw in a letter in game in reference to her, that they would treat Thane like this...

@Lydlyd Thank you for sharing that image with us, heart-wrenching as it is, it's still beautiful. Many of us who romanced Thane wanted an option for him to live but in the event his death was forced we hoped (at least) for a meaningful and emotional goodbye. In the end we got neither. There was no option to save him nor was there any emotion or closure to his forced death. It's been over a month since the game's release and I still can't believe there was no option to tell him Shepard loves him...

That Jeirt letter in ME2 was such a cool nod to the fanbase. Poor Jeirt. She/he probably drowned in his/her tears after playing ME3 and seeing what was done to Thane. Lord knows I nearly did.

It breaks my heart thinking back to the ME2 days when it seemed BioWare actually valued Thane as a character. It seems to me like that is no longer the case when I consider how dismissively they treated his character in ME3.
