Not gonna lie guys I cried a lot while I was making this.  I wished we had the option to hold him one last time and tell him we loved him. :crying:  BioWare should really fix the way Thane was treated in ME3.  I hope they do.

OH MY HEAVENS....this is absolutely beautiful! I love this so much, Lyd! Excuse me....I think I have something in my eye....

I adore seeing your Thane work (all your work is amazing actually, I've followed you on DA forever). I can't wait to see the 'happier' Shrios piece you come up with. Please let our fanbook and pleas for DLC not fall on deaf ears, I want Thane back! :crying: Or at least something as lovely as this in game, a hug, a kiss, a meanigful goodbye, an 'I love you'! They can't leave Thane's story like this, they just can't.

Speaking of the fanbook...lydlyd, you should consider submitting your art, if you haven't already.

I would be really happy to get some help with the introduction

What makes them think anyone would be going into life support.

Something HAS to happen with Life Support. It's the only room that serves absolutely NO purpose, picking up the Destiny Ascension aside.

Jacob's room was blocked off. Why not Life Support? Did they know some Sihas needed a place to weep?

Jack's space is also empty. They haven't put anyone down there.

true. i forgot about Jack's little hideyhole, I rarely go down there, it's sorta out of the way.
That's why I only ended up getting my space hamster back about 3/4 of the way through the game.

Life Support is staring you right in the face as soon as you step off the elevator, taunting you. My Shepard always instinctively turns a bit to the right as she walks off the elevator. I had to retrain my brain to stop doing it.

I had to do the same thing. I just automatically would go into life support at first. Now I just don't even go in that direction. It's to sad and so empty without Thane. The whole ship just feels dark and empty.

Where we suppose to be getting a new member of the squad?
I just wonder why they all think someone will be in Life Support.

Going to obnoxious and bump the poll thread.....bumpity!

It's funny that Aria is so well liked for a squadmate (not a judgement, I swear!).  I really do like her character, but I prefer the place she holds.....it allows for a different kind of interaction with Shepard, and I just happen to like that dynamic better.  I could see as a single mission squadmate just to get back Omega (which I suspect, some people who voted for her are thinking along those lines....maybe).  But, once Omega is back in her hands.....that is where I think she fits best.  Just my opinion.Posted Image

*EDIT*

And another THREAD to post on.....Posted Image

Agreed.  I like Aria, but not as someone on the ship or a permanent member of the team.  Nor do I see Aria's character going for that - she doesn't seem like the "it's the right thing to do" type.  More the "it's your fight, not mine" type.  She'd use you for help with Omega, but I don't see her going into the Reaper fight with you.

And posted on the thread!!

See, thats it. Aria is about helping herself. It works for her character.....can't see that changing (nor should it....IMO). That's not to say that there isn't wiggle room on how they could use that personality trope she has.....(i.e. a 'you scratch my back, I scratch yours' sort of thing....).
Meh...... My brain is fried, I'm not even sure I'm making sense any more.....I give up...HA! :P

Yeah no one besides Thane in Life Support (except Shepard and Kolyat)!

/Slightly off-topic
I was just playing Zelda: Skyward Sword in order to give my mind a break from the depressing treatment of Thane in ME3, and I keep playing merrily thinking "Lala Zelda games always have happy endings that will keep my mind off ME3"

But then I get to a point in the game were you are traversing a desert that used to be an ocean, comlpete with this melancholic piece of music:

And I just stop playing because I break down in tears, I mean Desert, Sea that music.... my mind kept going back to Thane...and the tears welled up
I know I'm silly but but...Thane...Posted Image

Actually, not silly at all.  I keep seeing and hearing things that make me think of him.  Hell, everytime I take a particularly hilly bicycle route, I think about Thane struggling for breath...ugh!Posted Image  And don't even get me started on songs....damn satellite radio....shuddup already!Posted Image  So I would say not silly at all.

pssst, bw, give us Thane back.....Posted Image

The even sadder part of it is that after I tried to play that part in Zelda I began thinking if any of the other game titles I have would remind me of Thane like that.

And this was the list I went through in my head:
Legend of  Zelda: Ocarina of Time: Features another big desert housing the temple of Spirits.

Baten Kaitos: Another desert which is home to my favorite character of that game (complete with tragic family background)

Dragon Age: Features the lovely assassin Zevran...
Assassin's Creed: Obvious title is obvious...Posted Image

Final Fantasy XII: Begins in a desert kingdom....

Fable III: But, wait, this one is set in England Albion, and then you get to travel to Aurora the land of mystery and...sand...Posted Image

Gah! Thane is everywhere it seems except...The Sims 3...Posted Image

Oh, you poor thing. Fable 3? Do you need some brain bleach, I've got some left over.
