I don't like Zevran and therefore never romanced him. At first I thought he would be at least a little bit like Thane but than I found out very soon that he isn't - for me he is just the opposite. Some more reasons I don't like him are that I don't like elfs in general and I don't like characters that are available for both genders - two reasons why even Fenris would never be an option for me at all. I played only the first 3 hours of DA 2. Then I read about the possible romances and since there is no real hetero romance I had no motivation go on playing the game. Made some more ME2 playthroughs instead, spending much time in life support<3.
I am glad and thankful, that Thane stayed hetero sexual in ME 3 and didn't change his gender preferences like Kaidan in the last game (**sarcasm on**Hey, why did BW forget to do this to Thane although they tried to do everything to destroy his well-set up character? Did they simply forget about that?**sarcasm off**).
I think it's implied that Kaiden is straight when you play as femshep, but it's only when you play as male shep you find out he's bi. I think the same goes for Fenris, you just don't get the impression they are bi, whereas Zevran openly states that he is.
At first I was a bit put off by Zevran as an LI (I always thought he was a totally awesome character though), but then he grew on me (as an LI). I don't have a problem with bi characters though, as long as Zev loves the Warden and the Warden alone, I'm good 
well that with kaidan was really, really weird...never could imagine him to be gay (never could imagine ANYONE of the femshep hetero romances to be gay) but well xD
not that i have anything against homosexual relationshipt, i just thinking of making one with cortez which is actually pretty well done. xD
i like zevran, from the first moment. his german voice just throw me out of my chair and his way...well i can understand, that you dont like elves at all, that he's not interessting but it's cool how he changes from this flirty "come to my bed" elve to be really confused of falling in love with the warden and not knowing how to handle it.
always while i'm talking to him i don't know if i should laugh or drop my head on the table- or even both
but i noticed pretty fast, that i loved the dialogues with him. like he has the permission of being suggestive. i actually don't care, i loved this xD
when i realised this, i was confused, because zevran is nearly everything i don't want my boyfriend to be, but he actually make it with such a charme, that i could not blame him for it

actually, he has one of the most popular famouse, sexy voice actor of germany. this voice is as awesome as the on from zevran and i know the voice actor until ive started being interested in sychronisation and all this stuff.
his voice is deep and smexy...not so "lived" as the english one.
and then his sad past. (i love sad past tough
) ust want to hug the grumbeling elf xD i acutally don't care, that you can have everyone with both genders, except of sebastian (by the way, i don't want to romance him xD), because i make it hetero. and also could not handle to romance any else because my beloved fenris will be going to have a realtionship with ISABELA!
my poor heart cannot handle this
