After getting into a relationship Thane seems to like getting "handsy" with Shepard so to speak.

I don't know. He might not wear them. That leather looks pretty tight, and I doubt he sweats like humans do if he even sweats at all.

Considering he comes from a desert planet he should have some way of coping with the heat. Still, he wears human-ish clothes. I can imagine him wearing underpants as well. Tight, black, sensu---- *is dead*

That's why I was thinking he might not wear underwear, because it is a human thing. That outfit is pretty tight, and it doesn't really hide anything. I don't think it would be very comfortable if he did wear it, and he doesn't really need to.

Its not just a human thing. There are different kinds of clothing that can be in different styles depending on the alien. I'm sure he wears some kind of underwear.

Only humans wear things like underwear. Thane isn't human, so why does he need it? How do we know that Garrus and Tali wear underwear, and what about the Krogan. I doubt they wear it. The only ones who might wear it are the Asari.

Think of it more like we were discussing the differences between humans and aliens. Shepard wears underwear, and Thane probably doesn't.  I'm sure there are other differences between them we could discuss.

Hopefully they will give us something new to talk about soon.

I'd say IF he did (Which I'm sure he doesn't. It's a human thing IMO) then he'd wear boxer-briefs. All the support of briefs, without the awkward look lol And they're tight, so they won't bunch in the leather.

Though imagining Thane in a thong brings up a disturbing, yet hilarious mental picture.

Edit: This train of thought led me to imagine Thane doing the bunny-hop to get into his leather bottoms. Very nice
