That's great!  I think that is perfect for them to read, and relatable to something they wrote and recycled in me3.....so, Bravo!

It also has the benefit of taking place *before* Mass Effect 3, so it's damn easy to headcanon in.
Of course in the same headcanon, Thane and the rest of the ME2 squad get back on the Normandy. And Thane necksnaps the cereal killer on the Cerberus base. Also Starkid is absent.

Heh, when I told my brother that the cereal killer being neck-snapped, would have been way cooler to have in the game than the renegade interrupt he said:

"No no, Leng would first be distracted by a bowl of cereal, eat it, get poisoned and *then* Thane necksnaps him! FTW!"

Heh heh.....Javik and Thane, they keep me occupied these days.  My daughter came in and watched it, she was squealing with laughter, "He stole Thane's hamburger!!!"  I would too, if it had bacon on it.  Or just snatch the bacon off and hand him back the burger.  Yeah, I'd share like that.

Javik: Let's say for arguments sake that Drell and Humans could conceive, would you consider that?
Thane: I don't know, Javik.
Javik: Would you not want an offspring with superior traits? A way to enhance the Drell race?
Thane: One child will not make a difference on a race as a whole.
Javik: Yes but if you had more than one child and eventually over time it strengthened Drell as a whole, then would you do it?
Thane: That would be assuming that the two species could produce children.
Javik: Like I stated earlier, for arguments sake, would you do it? Answer the question.
Thane: I have a real problem imagining Shepard as a baby making machine for my race or for my own needs.
Javik: So you have thought about it? Interesting. Does she know?
Thane: I never said I thought about it.
Javik: Your answer implied differently, Drell, again you dance around my questions.
Thane: I implied nothing.
Javik: Earlier you said if we were not at war you would consider marriage. If that is the case, then you might have entertained the thought of children. It is natural to put the two of them together.
Thane: I imagine for arguments sake that if we were to marry that children may or may not come up.
Javik: I'm taking that as a Yes, you have thought about it. If not, you are thinking about it now.
Thane: You do have a way of twisting things to your liking.
Javik: But you should know better than any of us here about marriage and children. Is that not true?
Thane: Out of us three here now, yes I suppose I do. I have been married and I do have a son.
Javik: So, if you were to marry the Commander, you would want children?
Thane: We have gone over this and I've given you my answer. What are you getting at?
Javik: I am curious. I will continue until you give me a clear and straight answer. I will not let this go.
Thane: I am aware of your persistence. Ok, if you will just stop the nonsense. Yes and Yes.
Javik: What? I did not hear correctly could you be a little more specific and you mumbled the answer.
Thane: Yes I would want to marry Shepard and have children. Are you satisfied?

About 10 pages Javik/Thane/Hope adventures in the Fanbook added. And that's only Blog entry 1 xD I have to see if this whole thing won't ruin me at all xD Just joking - you will get the pages back tomorrow I think, screens and letter added too then <3

This is going to sound really weird but I rather enjoy it.  I got mine after I had children so I figured it could not be any worse than that and I was right.  But what I didn't expect was that instant high I got when the needles first hit my skin.  OMG, I was like a crack addict.  I needed to get another one just for that feeling of the needles penetrating my skin.

I just need to find the art and off to Vincent's I go.  It will normally take a week or two before I can go in which is good because he will end up redrawing the piece I give him and getting it to the size I intend it to be.  Now where to place it...   

I enjoy it too. It hurts but I like it. And it's true like you said you want to have that feeling again.

Thane: I think once was enough. We have an understanding now?
Javik: Yes Drell, I will tolerate you and you will answer my questions.
Thane: Thanks, I guess but I will not answer all your questions.

Thane: Why do you insist on asking questions that provoke an emotional response?
Javik: How else is one to truly learn of another if not by words and emotions.
Hope: Well, ten minutes and you haven't torn each other apart. I'm impressed.
Thane: We have come to an understanding.
Javik: Yes, he is very skilled in close combat.
Thane: Siha, we are going to be fine now.

Funny thing about that, I was working on it but it needed more.  Or maybe it didn't.  Hope is Javik's equivalent in trolling EXCEPT she never did it to Thane.  Javik just trolls everyone.  This is why it is not Cameron who gets used for almost everything I do.  Just one smart remark from Javik toward Thane and she would have pistol whipped him.  I had tried to get Hope and Javik trolling Kolyat but it seemed off.  It's too bad Jav is in ME3, it saddens me I would have died happy with him and Thane behind my Sheps.

Okay, I promise I'll go back and read everything soon, but I wanted to get this up first.

I've finished the outline for the Thane Fanbook Introduction "Essay." Warning, it's LOOOONG. A couple of the paragraphs may be joined together, but I won't know until I actually sit down and write it. So basically, what's here now is what will be there later. But I only just wrote it, so it may not be as finalised as the finished piece.

There are also things I'm going to need help with. Ie, the bro-mance/non LI in both ME2 and ME3, since even my Garrusmancer Margaret was having a hard time choosing between him and Thane, and in ME3 she didn't even talk to him because I was trying to see if not having him fight Kai Leng would save him (so not happy that it didn't).

Any consctructive criticism is more than welcome. Really. This thing has me so stressed out that my brain is frying. Anyway, here it is.

That looks like a great setup and seems to cover everything. You've got quite the essay to write.

As for the Bro-mance angle:

Shepard seems to do a lot for Thane, regardless of whether you had a romantic relationship. There is this trust and friendship that seems really strong. Shepard becomes much needed support, guiding Thane down the path of redemption and helping him stay the course.

I believe this is why most people who didn't romance him in ME2 aren't as dissatisfied with his story arc in ME3. They helped him gain the closure and peace he wanted in the previous game. This is all fine and dandy, to a point. I still believe his content was overall lacking, even in the friendship department. I know a lot of people who agree.

Unfortunately, they tried to shoehorn the romance in along with it. Badly. This is where things went horribly wrong. It really should have been separated and written differently. Mostly due to the fact that Romantic Thane and Friendship Thane diverge somewhat in Mass Effect 2.

This is why I believe more choices would have been better, as everyone would get what they want and have a satisfying conclusion tailored to the desired outcome. I honestly hope they take the opportunity to address that.

So after going through a nightmare of exchanging accounts back and forth and EA support offering very little in terms of support. I decided to create a new account and register my ME3 game on that account.

And then I STILL couldn't post on the forums after that. And it wasn't until now that I have finally been able to reply on my own topic! The bad news is that my old account still can't post in the ME3 forums which means I can not edit the OP. But spoilers are allowed! (But I'm guessing everyone gathered that ;D

Sorry for being MIA for so long. I will post on this account now (obviously, I am Tasha Vas Nar Rayya. But I have returned with improved Quarian grammar!)
