Yay on the wristbands!!!!

I only used her when I had too, just like Liara, didn't take her with me unless I was forced too. But I'm like that, I pick a couple of people and that's it, I take them everywhere. I took Javik and James with me everywhere. I would have preferred Javik and Thane. I would play it forever with those two even if the ending sucked, I'd just end the game before the Catalyst. If not, well I sure as heck would not take them with me during the final push. I don't want Thane and Javik off on some planet with Joker. In that case, I'd take Garrus and Tali. That way they can continue that romance they had going on.

My husband saw me wearing it while we were watching "deadliest catch" last night and asked about it so I told him.
Then on the show one of the crew members from one of the boats had passed away at the end of the last season and they spread his ashes in the sea...this lead to a drunken tearful rant by me to my husband about how wrong bioware treated Thane...and ended with something about how when people die you honor them and don't forget them.
Can't even watch tv without bioware ruining it...

I took her with me maybe two or three times. One of them you have to take her. I just didn't find her that useful.
Most of the time I took Garrus and Vega. I took Javik with me a few times. I couldn't really find the right team in this game. I missed the ME2 squad a lot.

However in my opinion her genetic matter should be preserved for the future.
The Council has some strange rules regarding genetic modification across species.

A drell-human hybrid would be a most competent warrior. Even more so if it had both her and your skill in combat.

LOL I really do like Javik-he is sooo bluntly honest sometimes it hurts-in this banter's instance, it hurt Kaidan! And yep, it was well-deserved!

Yes, Javik is so blunt. That's why I like him and why I like to write stuff with him. It's also why I use Hope as the Shepard. She's up for a good troll because she is one. Cameron would have beaten him senseless by now and Faith would be crying somewhere. Right now, Javik's going nuts on the Normandy. Like to troll Thane, do ya? Well, let's add Kolyat and Feron too. Yep, he got them both.

I thought my fellow Thane fans might enjoy this.

My hubby and I were out for a walk last night. I started on one of my frequent rants about how upset I am with the Thane romance storyline. I told him I just watched the first encounter with Thane at the hospital again. I was looking for screen shots of my LI Shepard and Thane for the love interest project and there are so few interactions, I had to watch that section again to get a picture. It was even more depressing than I remembered. The voice sounds like Thane, but that drell doesn't act much like the Thane she loves. I kept asking, "Who are you?"

Hubby looked at me and said flatly, "I think it is a Cerberus plot."

He then said, he thinks that drell wasn't the real Thane. That was a Thane imposter designed by Cerberus. They want Shepard to think he was Thane, and then Cerberus had the imposter killed. This would give Shepard a severe morale problem, causing her to lose the will to fight the Reapers.

Ha, ha, ha!! I had to laugh. He got me to smile anyway.

Then he said that the real Thane is off being cured.

My husband has been patient and very understanding since doing his own analysis. I think I may have blown his understanding out of the water earlier. I asked myself, "What could possibly make this make out scene worse?" Well, try putting Shepard in just her bra and undies and sending to the hospital like that. That made it worse. Much worse, it cannot be unseen now. Before anyone gets shocked at how I could do such a thing, you have to understand how I think. If I think something is bad, I do what I can to make it worse that way the original isn't as bad as it could be.

It's still bad, trust me but now I know it could be worse.

I can buy the imposter Thane, I already think my Shep had a lobotomy, is already indoctrinated from Arrival, or still hallucinating in her cabin from that romp with Thane in ME2.

hi guys. just letting you all know I will likely be away until next monday. I will be on daydream island for the next four days, starting around 3PM tomorrow.

But I will be using that time to work on the fanbook, as well as lounging around the pool sipping cocktails.

But if the island has a decent connection, well, you wouldn't even know that I'm not home.

I also recieved a parcel notification today. but since it was anzac day today, I'll have to wait until morning to pick it up from the post office. I hope it's my wristbands, though it's probably my books.

oh, and guess what? I broke Thane. Now I need a new D-String.

I hope you have tons of fun!  They have a daydream island?  Hmmmm.... oh nevermind, I live in that plane of existence.  

I saw G-String, I will admit it, it was the first set of words I saw in the post.  

Almost hit Submit until my husband burst in and asked me a question.  Who do I think is the best superhero Batman or Superman?  I was already thinking of G-String, so I snickered and told him Thane in a G-String.  He looked at me and said, "Would he be wearing a cape?"  I started to laugh at the mental image, he left and said,"I'll come back later when you've wiped that image from your mind.  I won't be able to talk to you before then."

Yeah I did answer him, I said "Neither"...they will both Kneel before ZOD!!!!  Except Thane he would never kneel before Zod.

Yeah, lyd saw G-String on facebook and, well, u and she would definitely get along VERY well.

Yes, there is a daydream island, sadly though, not that daydream. (DAMMIT)

Fingers crossed they will have internet access on the island, but I don't know, so just warning you all so DON"T DO ANY GOOD STUFF UNTIL I GET BACK! Please? I hate it when I miss the good stuff.

She's resorted to going around the house dancing like Legion. It's just so cute and I had to explain it to my sister Monday night. I love that kid, she is just like me, doesn't give a crap what others think of her as long as she's having fun. My sister got up to try and get the phone away from her, Courtney stops at the other end of the pool and says, "Your attacks are primitive." I died right there.

Any suggestions? I was thinking of making two different designs, one "casual" and one "combat".
Any thoughts on colours shape etc?

The casual must be loose and comfortable. As much as I like to see Thane in something form fitting and tight, I think it would be very nice to see him in something laid back and relaxing.

Try going with south asian/east asian influences. The drell seem to suit that over all.

Considering the naming conventions for the drell it is indeed most fitting.

Heh, I'm reminded of when I tried to have a go at female drell in formal wear.
Since I was sick of seeing the asari dresses everywhere, they ended up having a Mass Effect equivalent of sarees and dupatta, and oddly it fit rather well.

And here we go, in this one moment I saw MY Cameron again and I cried. I really cried, big tears, my head hit the desk and I whimpered...why BW why? This looks so sweet....


There she is giving Thane a big hug, so hard her hand is digging into his back (mmmmmm, thoughts), her eyes are closed as if she is lost and thinking this is the ONLY place in the galaxy she wants to be, his arms wrapped around her, "I never wanna let you go, Siha." Heck, she may be trying to hold back tears (yeah I know, she doesn't cry according to BW but hey, my pic says she wants too).

Thank goodness for Flycam. I like the different angles you captured of the scene. How did you manage to make the hand hold  work? Is the animation just glitched on consoles?

The hug looks really sweet but it makes me sad. BW could have made Thane's romance arc so heartfelt and beautiful if they had bothered but instead they just took the easy out and got rid of it. Worse, they did it in the most emotionally-unsatisfying manner imaginable and disappointed a ton of people in the process.

The hand animation is still messed up in my pc version. But pausing it just right enabled me to get that. It's a shame that if one were to take these pictures without actually experiencing this romance (or really lack of one) that we would be hearing, "what are you complaining about, it looks good."

What is worse and I actually cringed then laughed is if you pause the cutscenes during dialogue, the person who was speaking will continue to do so. Well, I paused it right before Shep's porn noise and I had it in slow mo at the time, it just appeared so wrong. Thane was pulling her closer and she moved up a bit, it really looked like some serious dry humping going on. Especially at the angle I had it at.
