I hope no one minds if I post a fan comic.  I found it touching.

I'd say IF he did (Which I'm sure he doesn't. It's a human thing IMO) then he'd wear boxer-briefs. All the support of briefs, without the awkward look lol And they're tight, so they won't bunch in the leather.
Edit: This train of thought led me to imagine Thane doing the bunny-hop to get into his leather bottoms. Very nice

Teehee! Oh yes.
Also that comic was so sad. >.< But she can get a shiny new cyber arm and leg in a while, I guess.
I ownder what Thane would do if Shepard literally gave an arm and a leg to save his life. (although with cyber/prosthetics, it's not that hopeless :P)

@Raine
I agree. If he did wear them it would be boxer briefs. I think he's look pretty good in them. Image IPB

I like that comic, and yes it is a little sad. The person who drew the comic has a few more using this same character with Thane. I don't think she's missing a leg though just an arm.

Thane probably would want Shepard to do give up an arm or a leg for him, but it wouldn't be his decision. He would probably try to stop or talk Shepard out of doing it.

I think she lost only part of the leg.

I could image Thane being very sad to see that happen to Shepard especially if she lost limbs for his sake. Probably borderline blaming himself if Shepard lost them as a result of a fight or an explosion.

I bet prosthetics wouldn't be cheap either considering what Shepard does for a living.

Sorry if I made anyone feel uncomfortable on our previous conversation. :)

On another subject. Does anyone think that Thane may have had any implants or cybernetics to improve his skills as an assassin?

Don't worry about it Tasha. I didn't feel uncomfortable about the topic. It's fine.

Thane never mentioned having any cybernetics or anything like that. The only thing he had was the surgery on his eyes. I think that his skills are mainly the result of very hard work and good training. The hanar may have also seen something special in him. Even at the young age of 6. It has also been brought up if maybe him being a biotic is one of the reasons the hanar chose him.

I think it's all down to his training rather than implants or cybernetics.

@Tasha, last topic didn't make me feel uncomfortable although I have spent too much time trying to decide which camp I'm in and I'm still torn! :P

Tasha, crazy Thane fangirl. There was nothing wrong with the previous conversation. We were all wondering it at some point during game play. Com'on! There are just someone of us who admit it.

Regarding if Thane has cybernetics. No. He's all natural.

I think being trained to kill from childhood is enough. And biotics. And incredible marksman skills. I endorse all-natural Thane!

*ahem* Anyway, I made this banner. Welcome to use it if you like. It features art by the ever-talented M, who also made me this lovely piece:

@Aislinn! I love the banner. Dang it... If I use the banner then I will mess up my Doctor Who theme. Thus, there is only one real option, I need to make a Thane theme. XD

Gonna put that banner up now. Thanks Aislinn, really appreciate it and love it!

If he is all natural, then that just makes his skills all the more impressive then! Although I would be fine with a cyberneticcy Thane.

Hi, I'm with you again.
Why no news about Thane from developers?

Because they want to torture us until the release of the game. He is now a marketing tool.

I really hope we don't have to wait till the game comes out to find out what's going to happen to him.

I think the reason some of the characters haven't been shown yet is increase to the fan-hype when they are finally shown. As Lucky mentioned, Thane is a marketing tool right now.

Thane has a pretty notable fanbase, and so far his story has produced at least some debate when it comes up. Also Thane's an assassin. He hasn't survived for as long as he has by making himself conspicuous. At this point who knows what he did after the Suicide Mission. To me, it makes sense that he wouldn't be shown right away.

*poof*

So is his role pretty much decided by now or is there still room for the devs to change things if they so choose?

The game doesn't come out for a about 7 months. Part of me thinks that Bioware has known the conclusion to Thane's story before ME2 came out and may just change it as they see fit.
