I was the epitome of innocence until I got into these threads.  :innocent:   I am blaming all of you for what happened to me today.  It's all your fault.  I had to go to my daughter's practice for her first Communion tomorrow and I was FORCED to think naughty things in Church.  All was going well until her religious ed teacher said, "Ok, keep walking down the aisle until you reach these RIDGES."    She pointed to the ridges on one of the pews.  My mind went straight to..well you know.  I was thinking about Thane's ridges in CHURCH!!!   WTF!!!  And those thoughts once in my head are not easily brushed off.

Totally going to show my upbringing here: but whenever you guys say Hawkeye, I immediately think of Allan Alder, the guy who played "Hawkeye" Pierce in M*A*S*H! I absolutely loved him when I was growing up. Still do! Gods he is so funny!

PS I'm going to go see Avengers tomorrow if I can. No spoilers please, if you don't mind.

Nope, nope, you don't want Loki spoilers! He did look very nice-you know, aside from the whole horned helmet that we also saw in Thor last year and it looked cool in comics but in the movies...hmmm!

And that's all I'm going to say, though looking forward to see what you think of the movie!!

Wolverine. Good lord, as an actiony geek girl I have never felt so pandered to. If only it'd been a better movie... And Avengers is so very Joss Whedon.

Anyway. While I was fairly corrupted, I seem to have managed to blithely float on at my usual corruption/obliviousness level. Though... I do like the pretty pictures!

On the subject of being corrupted with dirty thoughts:

Well I for one, was "corrupted" 3 years ago during my time at a danish art college. So I'm pretty much beyond "innocent".
I guess that's what happens when you befriend a gal with a mind so far in the gutter that she'd make anyone else I know blush.
As a matter of fact, something rather awkward happened this afternoon when I was chatting with said friend.

Naturally it  involved certain dirty shenanigans about videogames.
We were initially talking about Fable and our mutual adoration of a certain character from that game: Reaver.
Then she asked if I was going to draw more fanart of him, and well this happened (not exactly the same smilies were present but meh, you get the idea):

She: Please oh, please draw more of Reaver!


Me: Will do, but It'll be a while, I am currently drawing fanart for this sc-fi game called Mass Effect, featuring my playable character (Shep), and my favorite NPC (Thane)


She: Hey, what does your PC look like?


Me: Her name's Ivy Shepard: *Send her a screenshot*

 
(Now, she has this weakness for red-heads and she swings both ways, so the following response did not surprise me)

She: OMG! She one hot red-head! Why is she not real U_U! She's lovely! *Swoon*....

Me: Well I am drawing her . Atleast I'll show you the pics later

She: But...but..Reaver!

Wait!

I know how to remedy my demand of red-heads and Reaver! I demand smut of Shepard and Reaver!

Me: Errr...... Shepard already has a man in her life.

She: Wait wha? Who?

Me: His name is Thane Krios, and he's the most badass assassin in the Galaxy: *Sends gorgeous screenshot of Thane*

She: OMFG!!!!!  Wow! He's an alien and smoking, and sexy, and green and..and I've run out of adjectives to descibe him! Why do I suck at playing videogames ?

Me: Now you see what I mean? She's too busy with Thane

She: Well, I suppose I do..but..but who says they (Shep and Thane) wouldn't enjoy a little extra company?

Me: Oh no..you, YOU are NOT suggesting what I think you are suggesting...right? RIGHT!?

She: Oh, let me rephrase my previous demand then: I demand smut with Shepard, Thane, and  Reaver!
I mean there is no way Reaver would say no to that would he?

Me: You....my mind...it...has...stopped working...
I, What's this I don't even...I...can't...get..that..image..out..of...my..mind.....
I blame you for this! Damnit!

She: Muhahaha! I never fail to corrupt you do I? Give in to crack-pairing! Now!

Yup, yup on Wolverine!!! I was so psyched on seeing Gambit-even in his...tender age(as if Remy LeBeau ever had one of those,lol) I loved what they did with him, I wanted a bit more!

And I love Joss Whedon's writing!:DHe made the Avengers movie memorable, hehe-ok, maybe he and Hawkeye-and Tony Stark and Thor and Bruce Banner...I think I need to stop here!

Hahaha yeah the helmet!  I kept staring at it the whole time it was on the screen, and wondering what kind of radio reception he got with them

I also disliked his hair, it was to fluffly.  But other than that he was a really good villain-you-love-to-hate
And Hawkeye <3  The pure skill!
He actually reminds me of Thane in that regard.  The class, skill, ability, execution, style... <3<3:wub:

It's actually a state of mind; a play on the expression ''Mind in the gutter.''

I think it started when I began calling the core group of dirty-minded Fenris fans The Perverted Pentagon. It was decided we needed a headquaters and so the Gutter District was born; when things started getting beyond PG13 we'd always say that we were ''going to the Gutter District''- Some of us were so frequently there we 'bought' property. One person even made of quick stick-drawing of our houses!
