And that's another thing. They completely failed at the very beginning by not showing us how we got there, what we had been doing to "get fat" as Anderson implied, the trial, me shooting Alliance officers when they tried to capture me...big fat ****ing nothing. Only to be topped by the EPIC FAIL that was their treatment of Thane and the other ME2 romances. Did they even have a writing team for ME3? I mean besides Liara's obvious star treatment...

...was Shepard in a prison or something???? didnt she have a right to make a god damn phone call????...whatever bioware...

the only thing that Bioware succeded was to to alter my feelings towards Liara and Joker... they are EVERYWHERE ALL THE TIME!!!! and that "immortality" of Joker is getting on my nerves!!! lol Thane has only 3 lines...repeating them again and again like we have an amnesia or something and repeating the same conversations all over.."hi thane how are you feeling...i have a difficulty in breathing...blah blah... next visit again ""hi thane how are you feeling...i have a difficulty in breathing.." whatever...it feels like a punishment or something to me...

There are so many unanswered questions I have with the beginning of ME3.  Ok, let's say one buys that whole "a character you forge in your own image" spiel they gave us with ME1, then the beginning makes no sense. What if our character did not want to turn themselves in?  What if our character wanted to align with Cerberus? What if our character was under the belief that their service with the Alliance was over because they declared them dead?  What if our Shepard was a Colonist who just hated Batarians and did not give a flying flip about killing them?  What if our racist Shepard was proud of killing them and didn't want to apologize or go running back to an Alliance who declared her dead to prevent a war with the Batarians?  What if she just did not give a f**k because she was a Spectre and only had to answer to the council and not the Alliance?

Now let's just go with the whole "choices" thing and the fact that this was was supposed to be an RPG, why in all that is holy did my Shep just turn herself in? To people who turned their back on her, just declared her dead.  Heck, as much as Liara irritates me, she looked for my body.  Wanted me to be in the hands of someone who could do something to rebuild me.  Which is a heck of a lot more than the Alliance ever did for Shepard.  I have immense problems with the Alliance at this point.  And I'm not fully alive yet.  Ok, so Shepard is alive again and is forced to align with Cerberus because the writers say so. Fine...ME1...Alliance, ME2..the opposite side Cerberus, Ok I can live with that.  In this time she meets great people, people who are willing to die for her cause.  That is the crux right there, doesn't matter if you loved or hated them...each of them were willing to live and die for Shepard's cause, to stop the Collectors.  Each of them had faith in her, you were forced to get personally involved with each of them if you wanted them all to survive.  Loyalty missions.  So why in the f**k did this all become pointless in ME3, why were they cast aside? Why was it that nosy Shepard the Normandy Therapist forced to discard them in ME3?  I know Kelly was technically called a therapist but she wasn't out solving their problems, Shepard was.

Ok, let's get to ME3, now we have this Shepard who was NOT in any way shape or form the Shepard we built in ME or ME2.  It was like it was a whole new game, a new character.  Really?  Two years and this is the crap you give us?  Catering to new fans?  What about the ones who started this journey with you BioWare?  What about us?  I didn't want MP, I didn't want auto dialogue, I wanted the formula you gave us in the first couple of games.  That is what kept me loyal, that is what caused me to buy and play Dragon Age Origins and Dragon Age 2.

Why did you even make ME2?  Why? Everything we did in that game did not matter.  Our squadmates, our LI's, our choices were reduced to nothing.  A few War Asset points?  That's all they were?  Really?  You could have just as easily went from ME1 to ME3 and it would still be the same!  Harbinger was really nothing in ME3, so his role in ME2 was insignificant.  Same could be said about TIM.  BioWare, you failed.  Why make us do hours of loyalty missions only to cast aside these squadmates?  Each of them could be replaced by someone else.  ME2, really not necessary.  But it was a great game and we ended up caring about these people because we were brought into their personal lives and for what?  For Legion to die no matter what?  For our LI Thane to die no matter what?  For those who loved Miranda and maybe didn't want to continue a romance to have her die because we cared about her as a friend but a lover?  For Jacob to cheat on us no matter what?  For Samara to forget all she said about fighting for our cause?  For Grunt forgetting we are his battlemaster?  Why?

So the question from what I quoted, " didnt she have a right to make a god damn phone call????."  Apparently not because we were supposed to only take into account our decisions from ME1.  We were not supposed to love ANY character from ME2.  Even so, if one romanced the VS, they are in the same building but had no contact with Shepard! But Vega obviously did?  WTF is that?  Vega?  The one they dangle in front of FemShep's and force us to  flirt with but can never romance.    For the record, I'd totally do Freddie Prinze Jr.

Let's not take into account that is this game is supposed to be the culmination of the two previous games.  Why not the choice to tell the Alliance to suck a big one and align with Cerberus?  Heck, we were declared dead by them so technically we no longer are in their service.  And apparently people can come and go in the Alliance, Joker did.  Hackett knew where Shepard was so why is it a big deal now?  I can go on for another hour about how Hackett always seemed to know Cerberus's business but always wanted to keep it secret.  Very apparent in ME1.  I don't like him and I don't trust him.   Regardless, Shep can't make a phone call because that would negate BW's ultimate plan.

Mass Effect 3 was made for new players, not for us.   We were as important to them as Mass Effect 2 was to the overall story.  It was made to be a stand alone game and nothing more.  In which case, they still failed.  Who in their right mind would want ME or ME2 knowing that the endings they get are the same no matter what they do in the two previous games?  They failed, they failed their loyal customers, they failed their characters, they failed basic storytelling 101 and in the end they will realize they failed themselves.

Regardless, I will still stand and fight.

*Cheers* Go Utaker!!!

One thing that stood out for some strange reason that I feel the need to point out - Did Samara ever get released from her Oath to Shep?

I don't think so.....So Samara not being with Shep (if LI) or attempting to help Shep when incarcerated, isn't that a violation of her Code? The Hell BW - Stick to the already outlined plot!!!!

I guess I did go on a tear there....LOL. I am just a bit angry at BW and at the treatment of ME2 characters. I don't count Garrus and Tali because they were technically ME1 characters as well.

You know if you take ME1, tweak Arrival and then head straight to ME3, it really is the same. Take out all the ME2 characters and what do you have? Oh yeah, Mass Effect 3. Then head canon your way into Shepard lives in ME3, change TIM's dialogue a bit and you could actually place ME2 AFTER ME3 and it would make more god darn sense. This way you have Harbinger as the last Reaper existing (can't assume you killed them all in 3), TIM finds your barely breathing body in the rubble and rebuilds you. Knock out some Liara dialogue about finding your body and that is fixed. Everyone thinking you are dead can stay because hey, who really expected Shepard to survive that blast. Kick out the opening of ME2 and replace it with the Citadel exploding and there ya go. I'm sure there are a few other problems but it would be easier to fix than the mess they have now. Oh yeah and Thane is still alive, everyone is still with their LI's and everyone is happy.

Awwww, Moira *huggles*

Some people wouldn't know common decency if it bit them on the scrotum. And, of course, if a woman asks a man to excercise some restrain she's being a B****.

God thanks utaker! at the beginning of me3 i thought i was stupid or something for not understanding what the f&*% was going on there! I think your text should immediately been sent to bioware.it shows their flaws one by one.for me me2 was the best.it is the only game that i keep playing until now.because i HAVE SO MANY CHOICES.i won't play me3 again because i don't see the point in that.needless to say that i won't either buy any stupid dlcs if that doesn't alter the content and end of the game.and of course i ll stand by your side fighting for that.because hope dies last

So fellow Siha's I've found a survey for you (Regarding the Endings) :

https://docs.google....KWlAzSHc6MQ

Be sure to mention that you want "More Thane romance content" in Part 3's: "Other ideas" section.

We know Thane may not be featured in the EC, but voicing the fact that us Siha's want a satisfying conclusion in regards both to Thane and the ME series can't hurt can it? ;)
