Nope. It's from ME3.

We never get anything specific about Thane unfortunately, just snippets mentioning the LI's in general

And I love those wallpapers, I really like the last one for waking up in the morning with a hot drink. I like to pretend that Thane has one ready for me

I didn't think so. I wonder how long they are going to make us wait.

That's the kind of boyfriend I think Thane would be. Doing things for Shepare without her having to ask.

In the Bioware TV ME3 Q&A session, they said that Thane is alive and will be in ME3. So that's at least something.

Indeedy! Lydlyd just sent me a link to the Gamescon Q&A on facebook, coindicentally, so here it is.

The Thane snippet is around the 6 min mark, so if anyone says that Thane won't be in ME3, or that he will die beforehand, then they can be shown this .

Also, @ Fata Morgana, that comic strip always makes me chuckle. I am... intrigued as to what Thane's drug would be like .

Yaay!  It is indeed something.  Still nothing about saving him yet, but he's at least in the game so I need to stay positive.

This calls for more art.

I have the audacity to hope. Thane's VA still has (Filming) under his IMBD account, same as Brandon Keener (Vakarian) and Courtenay Taylor (Subject Zero) All these peoples are LIs. I doubt it would take this long to VA someone who is just doing a cameo.....coincidence?!?!?! I think not!

I hope it's not just a cameo. I will be very unhappy with that.

I get the impression that there will be romance scenes for existing LI's. So I imagine Keythe will be doing his lines for all us Sihas as well

I believe Casey has confirmed that there will be the option to continue the romance with all existing LI's, so at least there will be some lovin'!

As for story wise, yeah, all that has been said is that Thane (and Zaeed) will be somewhere in the galaxy doing 'something appopriate for their character.' But at least we KNOW that he is alive now

- All squad mates will get their story and closure for ME3 even if they might not be a permanent squad member.

- You'll have debriefings after each mission that are deeper than ME2, but you are still likely to only talk to the squad mates one on one outside of that.
- How many team mates you speak to at the same time aboard the Normandy depends on the context of the missions.

That alone is a vague statement and it might not be that bad.  There are a lot of squadmates that need their endings tied up, so I think it's still too early to know for sure in regards to Thane or any love interest.

Yeah, my hopes just plummeted too, but all we can do is hope Bioware doesn't make his story end like some people are expecting.  That would truly be lame.

I also wonder whether this includes LI squadmates?? I doubt that BW would make any particular LI death canon.

I also wonder if this means that there would be a 'set in stone' path for a particular squadmate or, if on a mission, one squadmate dies without any in game Virmire like choice involved.
