Ah yes the Skip the Fade mod. I've never used that one myself. I love being a fire god! Unfortunately I find the mage Warden to be extremely underpowered in DA:O, so never bother. That and I just like my up close and personal kills. I'm more of a nekkid Zevran, sword and armour mod kind of girl.

I love Skip the Fade, just because I hate it. Trotting around in a maze that serves no real purpose except to rescue whomever I brought with me and to fight the fade demon. A mod that skips right to the rescuing (Zevran on a torture rack...mmmmm) and fighting the demon...heck yes, I'm in. Other than that give me the nekkid (no undies in the sex scenes please) mods, better sex scenes, armor, weapon, and more adventure mods. Then I am happy. Oh yeah, and Slap Morrigan, she may be my Warden's female BFF but sometimes she just needs to be slapped. It's great though because sometimes she will slap the Warden back. Yes....slap fest. I like being a rogue, I cannot play any other class. Give me a class that allows one to kick another in the balls and that is my favorite. Call me a bad person but I can't stand Leliana. Hate her. I even hardened her and realized I still didn't like her. Imagine my great disappointment when I left her in Lothering to BURN and she showed up in DAII anyway. Stupid Leliana.


On topic...Thane's Ridges...a damn gift from the Heavens...

You and me both, sista!!  I have never completed a mage run (though I am currently trying to finish up a female Amell as we speak.....this will probably be the only time I play a mage all the way through).  I actually find them powerful enough, but boring as sin.....*poke, poke*.....bleh.  I went Arcane Warrior just so I could slice and dice things.....makes it a bit better.  But I LOVE playing as a DW rogue.....weeeeeee!  Me and Zev, baby!  Throw in Ali and Shale for a seriously fun all melee team...FTW.   Intrigued by nekkid Zev (have spied that on YouTube...well, slightly editted version)

I don't like NOT liking any of the characters, so I will just say that Leliana is "not my favorite".
Her dialogue is some of the least interesting, she's not terribly funny, and her accent does start to grate on me after a bit. Ok, nuff bashin the poor 'toon. Heh!

To bad Thane couldn't be modded into DAO.....HA! I can only imagine the convos between him and Zev, Ali and Shale......too fun! Not to mention, I think he would end up fighting much like Zev and my (most) Wardens.....perfect!

Yeahhh, not a big Leli fan myself. I tried to leave her in Lothering but man, she was persistent. As for the mages, the ones in DA2 were much better. I do have a mage for that one. And she totally kicks ass, takes names and shags Fenris as often as possible.

I have Lizzie Hawke the Mage who friendship romances Fenris.  She is nothing but walking hypocrite.  I loved playing her.  So funny...I suppose a rivalmance would have made more sense but I got a sick pleasure out of, "all mages are evil, they must die!" and I'm a mage.  Oh yes.  Anders didn't quite like that but who cares, Lizzie was such a hypocrite she sided against the mages.  She killed Anders too.

It is so funny when I hear people who have played these games in a similar fashion as I do. I love mage nearly as much as my DW rogues, in DA2. Almost always romance Fenris; female or male. In fact my Zander Hawke is very much like your Lizzie Hawke. Played him almost identical to your lady. I did romance Issy with one of my rogues and I have a nauseatingly diplo archer who is romancing Anders.....only Hawke I have ever made that could stand the blighter. She's a bit niave.

BTW, love the "tent time" Thane idea.....make it work!

Too bad for Thane he'd have the same problem as Zevran, he'd barely see the light of day as he'd be in that tent constantly. Again? What must the others think? Who cares, move it. I personally like this one...Arrrr...Pirate Zevran reporting for duty, prepare to be boarded. I imagined Thane...then had the need to write it down...saying that, pirate hat....Excuse me Pirate Thane, when did you get that wooden leg. "That's no wooden leg, wench. Time to walk the plank. My plank. Start moving. Thar she blows!!!!" Zoinks!!!!

I no longer have an account over there, I believe even if I signed up for one now I would be on at least a 24 hour restriction. Actually, truth be told, maybe it's still active but it's been so long that I forgot the email address I used. I'll just make a new one.

Ok, I set up an account but I am real twit sometimes...I have my own website.  It use to host a bunch of perverted pics of Jeff Hardy and the Undertaker...yeah, I know but they are HOT.  I miss my "Jeff's Anatomy" page.    Anyway, I couldn't maintain it due to life issues, so I tore it down.  I wonder if I still have the template and files for the Jeff's Anatomy....I'll put it back up.  Along with a Thane's Anatomy  I love science.  I've been paying for the domain and the other fees anyway.  And off I go....I think I better check to see if they've added rules about perversions.

@mnomaha - Well, "quick" run through might not be the best choice of word....HA! But, I have learned of a few mods that can move things along a bit faster. Besides not really being able to skip anything (hello the bane called the Fade) on the xbox version, I admit I'm a bit of a completionist. I have learned after 5 full playthroughs and numerous partial play throughs, to FINALLY stop trying to do ever stinkin' side quest and loot every last nook and cranny. But, I still get slowed down with just building the characters, trying to find the best combo of weapons/armor/accessories, and completing every available convo. For some reason I suspect I will be able to forgo some of this on the PC; partly due to mods, and partly because all my main play throughs for both DAO/Awakenings and DA2 are on the xBox. Course, that could change once I get in to it....HA! (BTW, let me know how NWN goes.....)

@Moira - Looking forward to your "read". Sounds very interesting.

Matt Rhodes initial idea on how Mass Effect 3 could have begun.

With Shepard going rogue and with the help of his/her squadmates taking back the Normandy SR-2 from Cerberus. Instead of just handing it over to the Alliance and going:

"Yay house arrest! Never mind the intergalactic threat on our doorstep! Because the Alliance is sure to be ready within 6 months!"/sarcasm

And you know what? I'm keeping that idea for my head-canon.
When RL decides to give me enough time to write a proper fanfic this will be a part of it.

I am at a point where I am going to just figure that Mass Effect 3 was someone's head canon of the game they wanted and I endured it for the sake of curiosity. As far as I'm concerned Mass Effect ended with ME2. I can figure out the rest. Won't be hard to do because that Shepard in ME3 was not mine. I left my Shepard in her cabin with Thane. I can fight the reapers without BioWare and Mass Effect 3 and win. I will also keep my Cerberus Normandy, go pick up Javik and have him toss Kelly out the airlock. I will not be turning myself in to avoid a war with the Batarians, let Hackett clean up the mess he started. As far as I'm concerned the moment the Alliance found out my Shepard was alive and did squat to come get her, I was no longer military. I am no longer Commander Shepard, that is a title that died when Shepard did. I am just Shepard. If the Alliance wants my help to stop the reapers they can ask but I will not be answering to them or accepting a reinstatement. I think once I get my paws on Liara and the Crucible plans, they will bend to my will or die. The choice is theirs, live or die.

This is exactly my way of thinking.  ME2 was the end for me.   I'm just going to pretend that ME3 never happened and I will certainly not be playing it again without any improvements on the way Thane's character was treated.  I have no interest in it otherwise and am quite happy to make up my own ending in my head.
