They can make Mass Effect specific toys if they want but I insist that mine be realistic. I want the Thane one to give me hallucinations. I'm still on the fence about complete realism, I mean I don't know if I want a rash and/or itchiness. They can incorporate his solipsim in it too. I'd love for my doll to roll out with a past memory of my usage of it, at Thanksgiving dinner in front of my Mom.

I think I will go get her a shirt that says "Team Thane" at least that would be more tolerable. Although she would look at it and say, "but I like Legion"

And was just reading twitter - Patrick Weekes comment "and neither Legion nor Mordin said unequivocally that they were dying of incurable disease"
Can't someone just throw us a bone??? Seriously.

That sounds like a backhanded way of saying, "deal with it." I don't care if Thane had 10 incurable diseases at once, he was treated like crap and tossed like garbage. What am I supposed to do with that? Where is the message in that? It's ok to treat someone like sh*t, disregard them, make a mockery out of who they were, turn them into an embarrassment, drop the ball and FORGET about them because they have an incurable disease and are dying. Is that the message they want to send to me? Stack that with the blatant discrimination between FemShep and ManShep and BioWare is looking rather horrible right now.
You know what, I'm starting to believe that they are just being outright sadistic. They probably know damn well what they are going to do about ME2 LI's that got shafted. Can't tell me they didn't have some sort of small discussion about it. I wouldn't doubt for one second that they plan to do nothing but are too afraid to say so right now because they would not get our money. As long as they THINK we are pacified with maybe's we will keep supporting them. Of course, we will keep fighting and reminding them but I am fully prepared for nothing. I am a firm believer in "expect nothing and you will never be disappointed." That is where I am with BioWare right now. I will still ask for it but in no way do I expect it.

Isn't that really the "answer" we've been getting from all sides? It's all about the disease. He's dying, blah blah blah. GAWD. So sick of it. Yes, he said he was dying. Yes, I KNEW that before romancing him. Yes, I KNEW it was a possibility that he would die, but so was the lung transplant, euphulmous device (sp?), a hanar cure, Batarian organ cloning....all a possibility. Something that was the point of ME I thought. And even if none of those possibilitllies came to fruition, at least we'd be together - oh wait. NOPE. FemShep just up and turns herself in, no discussion, no questions, and then stumbles into him later. AWESOME. Then he dies. For someone to whom he has no attachment whatsoever. And then no one mentions him. Ever. Again. Best Writing Ever award goes to....

So very tired of this, and I am to the point where I don't think they will do a damn thing about it. For whatever reason, they believe what they gave Thane (in the way of characterization and content) in me3, is what they gave him. Simply that! No great content, no great character arc, no romance continuation; nothing. And they are planning to leave it as such. No one has ever stepped forward to say they wrote him in me3, everytime we tweet them they give us comments like the one above from Weekes, and now Priestly is alluding to the fact that no current DLC will have any Thane content, and that at best we can keep making noise about DLC for next year. Horse***t! And the really sad thing is, we will have them and other fans getting upset at us on this forum and Twitter, if we don't buy DLC they do plan to release. Claiming that we are just shooting ourselves in the foot, if we don't support other DLC; cuz ya know, if you don't buy the first DLC's, you won't get a chance to have NEW DLC's made.....ones that might have extra Thane content. Again, horse***t! Mights, maybes........words I am tired of hearing. So, maybe we take them for their cryptic word, ".......dying from an incureable disease." I think the meaning behind this statement (and other's they have made) is that they have no intention of giving us more content and/or an option for him to live to the end of the game.
All of this puts me in mind of the episode of Nurse Jackie, I watched last night. The staff dropped a teacher who was brought in to the Emergency room for something minor. The head of Emergency immediately when into "legal" mode" telling his staff not to admit, say they were sorry, or bring up the incident in any fashion. He was a kind guy, who just wanted an apology (and not to pay for said stitches to the back of his head....
(sorry if this is hard to read.....just cross your eyes if need be. It helps

My only thought is......does BW "close" the door on Thanes character; on us. It is something to ponder, albiet a depressing one.
Sorry for being so abrupt in this.....it is simple a gut reaction, as I am sure many of you are having right now as well.
