Understanding...that might be part of it, although I think most of it has to do with the fact that if I'm busy making stuff then I'm quiet. As opposed to the loud shouting that normally occurs when I'm playing a game...any game, ever notice that no matter what your character is always a moron or idiot? It's never the person controlling the character. Except Link the Dink in Twilight Princess, he really did do whatever the heck he pleased at times. Boy, I wanted to shove that Wii Wand up an orifice of whoever thought implementing Zelda with motion control was a good idea.

My kids and old man were playing Super Smash Bros. Brawl earlier and I came into the forum and saw a topic on Mass Effect Characters and Smash. I then hit my knees and prayed that I never lived to see the day that BW decides to put ME characters in a Mario Brawl game. Well, you never know I think I saw Solid Snake in the one they were playing out there.

LOL Coldi....poke, poke...

I bet he wants Malificent's finger off the trigger right about now....

Thane: Siha, honestly it was my gun poking you.
Mali: Next time you poke me, it best not be with cold steel. Understood.

Poor Thane....

Thane: Siha, I don't think that's a good idea. My health, the only room I have is right here at Huerta.
Hope: But it is still a room, that you consider yours at the moment?
Thane: Yes, but....
Hope: Are you dead yet?
Thane: No, but...I have my physical therapy class.
Hope: Skip it, you'll be getting your physical therapy.
Thane: I don't think, this will be much more strenuous.
Hope: Can you still move your body?
Thane: Doing that here would be inappropriate.
Hope: Does your door have a lock?
Thane: Are you listening to anything I am asking?
Hope: Yes and your reasons are weak. Do you not want to do it?
Thane: Yes, I do. I very much do but it could kill me.
Hope: Oh stop being so dramatic, it isn't going to kill you.
Thane: How do you know this? I said I didn't want to die in a hospital bed.
Hope: Lucky for you Twister is played on the floor. Let's go....

Ok, how many of you pervs thought Hope was talking about sex?

By the way, it may already have been posted...

ff.net is purging their M rated stories. I don't know how to download some of these, or even if I should, but I'm going to be devastated if my favourite Thane pr0n is deleted.

@xeno, annie, Porcelyn - Love all the pictures. They put a smile on my face. :D

@mnomaha - I read about ff.net doing that on the Fenris thread......did they give any warning that they were going to do that? Any idea if they might just move these to another site (perhaps one that requires sign in for 18 and up....)?? Are they just targeting obvious smut, or going for any m rated fanfic? Sorry for the barrage of questions, and no worries if you don't have the answers... ;)

All I really know is there's an update mentioning:

June 4th 2012 -- Notices:
Please note we would like to clarify the content policy we have in place since 2002. FanFiction.Net follows the Fiction Rating system ranging from Fiction K to Fiction M. Although Fiction Ratings goes up to Fiction MA, FanFiction.Net since 2002 has not allowed Fiction MA rated content which can contain adult/explicit content on the site. FanFiction.Net only accepts content in the Fiction K through Fiction M range. Fiction M can contain adult language, themes and suggestions. Detailed descriptions of physical interaction of sexual or violent nature is considered Fiction MA and has not been allowed on the site since 2002.

That's all I know. Actually, I heard whispers about it and then saw the posts on the Fenris thread. :)

hmmm.....ok...guess if that's their policy. Too bad that stories that might contain some of that would simply be deemed smut, though clearly any sexual content is just another device in the story; not smut for the sake of smut. Course, I happen to also LIKE smut for the sake of smut, but still........define those two things separately. Oh well........LJ anyone??? :D

Oooh that sucks, well aren't I glad I resurrected my domain. I really should finish those things and put them up but darn, I get in the middle of one and I get an idea for another one, so I start that and it keeps happening. I have a bunch of half stories.

Here is the issue....Hope and Thane are doing xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx and then I want to put something in there and realize that Hope would not do that but Cameron would so I have to start another one. Should see Faith....I never finished her Omega 4 because I started laughing at her innocence and virginity. "Oh my...you want to put that where? I don't...I don't know Thane, it looks like it will hurt a lot. Are they all that size?!?!" I was gonna have her faint and then Thane standing over her with an erection and well...then I realized I was going to turn it into a comedy and I didn't want too so I left it until I could take it seriously.

Regarding the mass deletion of stuff at Fanfic.net it is a result of these acts going on http://wtffanfiction...-fanfiction-net

Hopefully that helps everyone understand what's happening, it's not right that it's being done, it's a bunch of jerks being @ssholes with a mob mentality and it's resulting in mass deletion of content anything they don't like they start reporting as a mass group because they think it's breaking the rules, and it's not limited to just the M content or smut stories, but also stories they think are sh!t like it's stated in that article.

@PorcelynDoll Good god Thane is one lucky SOB, that FemShep is sexy as all hell. Yeah dang fine, and he has a a baby Drell with her, did she umm give birth to the baby Drell, maybe via space magic or I don't know just want to know if she gave birth to the kid? Or did they adopt it?

The Thane baked goods I am suddenly craving some Thane Goodies. The Thane cake looks tasty and I've got a sudden craving for Thane Cup Cakes.

@Utaker I did think Hope was talking about sex, just because it was you posting it, had it been PorcelynDoll WildAnnie, Moria, or Sade (hopefully I spelled that right), I may have not went right to the sex conclusion.

I love that picture. Why did bioware have to ruin it for us.

Spending money on usless things like that banshee. The picture still gives me nightmares.
Those two stupid Alliance soldiers who do nothing but gossip was a complete waste of money. Did we really need them. I would have liked the option to tell them to shut up.

i know, instead they made us stand around getting scanned while listening to their inane crap.  Their priorities were... misguided.

What bothered me more about those 2 Alliance soldiers, was they were stuck right by that lame scanner. That was the only scanner in the whole game that took time and made ya stand around forever.

Anyway about the 2 Alliance soldiers and what bothered me, was they were the only ones who had any sort of idle BS chatting on the whole ship, other then that one dude that would be talking with Garrus in one or two spots in the game. Out of the whole ship the two ladies by the scanner were the only ones talking, the scanner p!ssed me off from the start but then those two ladies p!ssed me off more.

I felt like I was forced to overhear what they had to say. I miss the random ME2 crewmen chatting as I went about things. Those two ladies just bugged me.

In ME2 going through the Normandy was fun. I never knew what I was going to overhear from my crew members. Hadley had a brother on Farris Fields that got taken. I also found out his name because I overheard people talking. The dude and the chick in the crew quarters talking about his wife and daughter (wasn't his kid a girl?) back on New Canton and how they got to San Fransisco safely. I enjoyed going down there and hearing his updates on his family. It really was fun. The people in the mess hall that gave Rupert sh!t all the time and they continued to chat about random sh!t. The dude up with Hadley in the hallway to the cockpit and their idly shooting the sh!t, all of it was fun and enjoyable, they were just going about passing time didn't give a sh!t if anyone over heard it.

The Ladies in ME3 are the oppsite they feel like they say stuff just to be overheard because no one else is randomly shooting the sh!t on the ship.

Everyone in ME2 was fun and exploring the Normandy was one of my favorite ways to pass the time. The crewmen had things they talked about with each other and my squadies were great they had interesting things to talk about.

ME3 the Normandy feels like a prison and it's all darkly lit. Which granted helps set a dark atmosphere to the game, but when the game and ship is already dark due to what isn't there it just makes it feel so much more depressing.

Those two Alliance Chick Soldier/Guards by that Scanner talking bugged me for those reasons.

@ wildannie and gears
I agree with both of you. I hated the scanner but those two women made me want to scream and pull all my hair out. They annoyed me so bad. Just two useless soldiers who got stuck doing that job because they weren't good at anything else. They didn't give any useful information at all.

What's worse is that you couldn't avoid them since they got rid of the armory. There were so many things that were a waste of money. Diana Allers was another one. Did we really need a reporter on our ship. She interviews you twice, and you don't even see the entire interview anyway. Maybe she was just there to give shepard that lousy dress. I would have prefered Emily Wong, but Bioware decided to kill her.

I agree that the Normandy in ME2 was a lot more fun. I liked the Normandy in ME2. In ME3 I just wanted to know what the Alliance did to my ship. The Normandy in ME3 was just a dark, empty, and depressing ship. I just found myself really missing the crew from ME2. Especially Thane. I just stay away from Life Support.

I also hate that wall. It's just a bad reminder of what Bioware did.

That drell baby is so cute, I love that picture!

About Normandy in ME3: it's dark, ugly, empty and depressing. And that scanner...so annoying.
In ME2 i kept on imagining various situations taking place on board of Normandy. In ME3 Normandy is not my Shepard's ship. It's alliance ship without a soul. I suspect no DLC will ever fix that.

Those two irritating chicks, and the scanner, are lucky I'm not armed aboard the ship. God I hate that scanner. Whose bright idea was that?
