Thane would have a VERY nice chest........I was playing ME last night and was having a close look at Thane's skin, has anyone here wondered what Thane's skin would feel like? His skin has the same tight, smooth scale pattern and same kind of dry shine of a snake's skin, I could imagine his skin feeling the same....Snakes feel quite pleasent by the way.

The other thing I was thinking about last night....I was teaming Thane and Kasumi up on the missions I did....as I watched Shep leading them into fight after fight...the two stealthiest characters on the squad...it struck me, how many of these missions could these two complete together without all the blood shed and death if they didn't have Shep leading them?....He must sound and act like a herd of baby elephants in their view....

I agree, about the scale texture.  I bet some female Shepards wouldn't be able to keep their hands off him.  Hopefully Thane wouldn't be annoyed by the affection.

Nah, Shepard just has a different approach, which usually involves loud noises and making things scream and bleed.

Bonus is that I didn't realize you could use Thane to hold up the biotic barrier in the suicide mission -- I had always used Jack or Samara. (I usually forget about Thane's biotics.)

Wow...that is so beautiful...the music the perfect accompliment...shivers running up and down my spine.

Thane looks so sad when he is speaking with his son...and his tears and actions in the love scene floored me...Thank you so much for sharing that Sister Helen...it is truly beautiful....thank you.

what is this I hear? Talk of shirtless Thane? Yes I think it's only fair that those muscles evidently outlined by his tight jacket be shown in the next game. Just as long as the writers don't have him saying something about the prize when its off.

That was a very nice video.

I always knew any of the biotics could do the barrier, but I was under the impression that only Samara and Jack could hold it. Jack and Samara are the strongest biotics on the team so I always use one of them.

For the barrier if you use someone other than Jack/Samara you WILL lose one of the two that you have in your party, they get carried off by a rather large seeker swarm, screaming all the while T_T.

That's what I thought. Those two are the only two strong enough to hold it so you don't loose anyone.

That poem is really touching Legend. It really creates him as a tragic character. 'My son is the memory of a life broken, and a life meant to be rebuilt.'

And that video set me off giggling Aislinn. I can just imagine her having similar hallucinations in her quarters before the Suicide mission.

Aislinn that's a great video and a lot of Thanes. Of course you can never have too many. Shepard didn't really have to do anything.
I almost couldn't find Garrus in that sea of Thane's.

Got a question for you folks:

I romanced both Thane and Garrus on one femShep to see how they took to being turned down; both were gentlemen about it. Garrus offered to blow up stuff with femShep as a bonding experience and Thane said he'd keep loving her but wouldn't bother her with his feelings.

I recently saw a YouTube video with a femShep turning down Jacob in favor of Garrus. Jacob was a complete jerk about it and called Garrus a "cuttlebone," which seemed a bit derogatory.

I never romanced Jacob (the flirting dialogue made me cringe, and I dislike the idea of a commanding officer hitting on a subordinate - he's the only guy on the ship who salutes femShep, after all).

Does Jacob say a derogatory remark about Thane if femShep romances the two of them, then breaks it off with Jacob? Or does the game just assume that femShep is breaking it off for Garrus??

Anyone know?

Yes, I don't recall exactly what he says but he makes a snide comment the says "It's those sad eyes itsn't it? Gets them every time"

Yeah, that is the one.

What Liara says is worse though. She mentions that you are trying to replace a dead wife. Mind you, if you pursue an LI in ME2 then you are cheating on Liara because she never argued or broke things off with Shepard.

But still, that stings when she says that. I wonder how a Kaidan/Thane confrontation would work out. They both seem pretty level headed. I don't think it would have the fireworks of a Miranda/Ash confrontation.
