Oh we were on the subject of Thane's odd eidetic memory things, I can't speak for everyone just myself and my own eidetic memory which it don't work like he did it, I pull the most radom sh!t out my @ss when I need too, like nearly word for word quotes one of the reasons I play games with subtitles it helps to read the words and then I can pull it out my @ss if I want to.
Or sometimes some stuff just pops up, out of the blue, not like Thane did where he just blurted it out kinda, look blank for awhile and then sometimes I get really tired depending on if it's something I haven't thought about in ages or the complexity and stuff behind the memories.
For some reason I didn't retain that crap we're supposed to in school, I was all like "F*ck this cr@p I'm never gonna use half th!s sh!t, dumb@sses should spend less time on stupid sh!t and useless cr@p, and we'd be done with High School sooner" For instance mandatory foreign language, Spanish don't know a lick of it anymore, had to learn it or just get by, which is what I did barely got a C to pass, and don't even remember jack sh!t of the sh!t they tried to teach me.
I basily give the half the high school and some of the middle school course the middle finger by not retaining jacksh!t, I'm laughing, at it all, Biology Math, English, stupid geography stuff science sh!t, well hell if I'm being honest, which I'm may as well I'm can safely say I'm certain about 85% we are "Supposed" to learn and retain in school for "Success" in our adult lives I didn't retain, I was like here's my middle finger to your system, I deem it unfit, unclean cast it back into the cold black of space.
But yeah I got one of those weird Ededtic Memories and everyone seems to tell me at some point I got a really good memory and I'm like um no sh!t that's an understatement, and it's really one of those over used things people tell me, and it's all like in one ear out the other most the time.
Another reason I liked Thane even more when meeting him in ME2.
