Utaker Thank you too. Much appreciated all of it.
Yes the delivery of Thane's lines is often what I tend to find hardest, his' unique way of putting things. As for the comment about Kolyat and not thinking about that, I sort of put that in there as Thane's own unique way of saying he'd rather not have any inquiries down that path.
As for the Reapers and Thane's long drawn out questions, I found it seemed (at least to me) Thane did that sort of thing whenever, he was maybe poking those subjects that made you really think about things. As for that instance it's more Thane poking my Shep with those questions that sort of make him think about things.
Anyway for those of you who'd like better context for my Thane dialogue scene it can be found here

I'll get to work reworking Thane's dialogue, I'm a bit of a perfectionist hence why I asked you all.
@Utaker your comment about it taking so long to write Thane, my god I spent around 60 minutes to an 90 minutes on just that one scene with Thane. However Thane is small time for me, the number of hours I spend agonizing writing Awakening/Samara my god that is insane. She's much more walled off than any other character, so writing for her is extremely hard.
Jack is easy, I looooove writing Jack. She's foul mouthed and well straight forward, and well just so much fun to write.
Anderson is easy too, I attribute that to his VA Keith David I just imagine him saying the lines if they don't work I toss it away find another way to do it.
Myth about the Thane fans and having more life experiences as opposed to other fan bases, I agree fully.
