Thane's flashbacks being so random sound like they forgot about him once again and just put it in there at the last minute.

It's not about Thane.Just if You romanced with Kaidan/Garrus and if LI is alive they will tell Joker to leave....If Thane was LI I got Javik..mnomaha wrote...
Can you please explain this? I don't get it, especially since Thane is dead. When does he do this? Or, even better, how does he do this?
So confused....and no desire to play it for myself...
Anyway there's only Thane flashback, but finally I don't have to look at Liara when my Shepard is desintegrated while she take control over the Reapers...

So I'd say that what they've added is, in fact, significant. At least as far as I'm concerned.
I honestly didn't expect to see Thane in it at all.

@JECW Sad to say, I really would not be surprised if that is the case.
Niether would I.
It just sounds like he was an afterthought once again.

I would have preferred Liara placing my Shep's plaque on the wall, as my Shep at least knew her and talked to (most of the time forced) and was there since the beginning. But I ended up with Traynor, who my Shep didn't talk to at all because she found her just as irritating as Kelly.
Ack, that is worse. Condolences.
I was just a bit pout-faced to see even more Liara after I'd accidently seen the new-new-worst-ending-ever, in which we only get Liara. (so... just a warning, shooting ghost-boy while on your way to "destroy" was a fun thing to do before. now he's on with the "SO BE IT", so don't do that unless you want to load back and replay a rather large chunk of the ending, or you feel the need to experience epic ending troll for yourself.)

I watched one of the endings on youtube. I think the Garrus romance was active for the person who made the video and the flashbacks showed Anderson, Thane, Garrus in that order. Then in the flashbacks with the voice-over it showed Edi, Miranda, Legion & Mordin.
No Thane. Has he appeared in the sequence with the voice-over for anyone?

My Thane-mancing Shep saw him during the Anderson flashbacks (although, as to those, despite the fact that I always choose "destroy", I preferred to see Joker there over this new EDI one).
So if his appearence is indeed random, then I suppose I've just gotten incredibly lucky (and I'm usually not).

I didn't get Thane in my voice over flashback but I did get Kaidan, EDI, and Legion. Then I went back and chose Synthesis. My flashbacks were still the same...Thane, Legion, Thane. My VO ones I think was just Kaidan, maybe Legion too. I can't remember because I was too busy talking.

On "Destroy" he shows up at 15:33
PS: I think all but the "shoot the space brat" choices show baby krogans

I want to thank them too for rendering my Joker.bik useless. I was quite happy with my Thane, Thane, Thane flashbacks. Now I have a Legion in the middle of my Thanes. Well, at least it's Legion, could be worse. It could be much worse.

@ mnomaha I feel sad, too. The Thane flashback is nice, I suppose. At least my Shep can remember him before she dies. Still,it feels like a token gesture and too little too late. It also does nothing to change the ****iness of what came before. But then again, I didn't really expect anything from the EC.
Watching the ending again basically feels a lot like poking at an old wound that's begun to fester. Not pleasant. I guess my overall feelings on the game have soured to the point I can't get any enjoyment out of it.

I just went through suicide mission again and am again in awe at how wonderful was ME2 ending. I felt like a winner. It's sad that even in destroy ending I won't get to see my Shepard smiling like that. Anyway - if EC succeds, people will be eager to buy SP DLCs. And that is our chance for a Cure DLC. Though I doubt they will ever make this- seeing how they protect their artistic integrity even at the cost of dissapointed fans. But still, there is some hope until they say "No".

And have you noticed it's 500th page of this thread? I think we need Thane here:

Still dislike all the endings.
Destroy requires you to kill off the Geth and all other synthetics. It's especially unpalatable if you brokered peace between Quarians and Geth.
Control seems kind of ominous to me. What's to stop Shepard's new Reaper consciousness from changing it's mind and deciding organics need to be wiped out after all?
Synthesis requires that Shepard make a decision to fundamentally alter everyone in the galaxy without their consent by liberal use of space magic. It just feels wrong.
The refusal ending is basically BioWare giving their fans the middle finger. Everyone dies. Reapers win and the cycle continues.
Meh.

Ha! That was basically what I just pm'ed @mnomaha......*claps hand on Julia's back* Good analysis! Thumbs up.
*EDIT*
Thank you @vlk3 for pointing out that it is pg.500!! Have a Thane.....
