If I didn't give a flying rats behind about Thane then I'd be quite content with the endings now. I'd probably replay the game. But since Thane's treatment is my problem with the game (oh and graphical issues), then I am not able to enjoy the game.

I just hope enough people are happy with it. If enough people start banging on BW's door about wanting more in ME3, then there is still hope for Thane.

Pretty much all of this. It's a case of too little too late. Am I happy he showed up in the end? Suprised yes, happy no. Why? Because he is dead.

I agree with you.. For what I expected (very litte) it was ok. Didn't fix anything for Thanemancers but the flashback. didn't fix hijacking my options wheel. but gave me at least an ending i can play. I won't take destroy because w/o Thane my Sheppard cares more about saving EDI and the geth than about saving herself. She wants to go meet Thane across the ocean.

Ok I haven't finished yet - but so far I haven't seen anything that is different - is it all at the end? I did hear him "whisper" in the child dream...And I find it boring so I'm having a hard time getting to the end. Kai Leng was even more lame this time around. Such a disappointment.

Just as a thought since I just youtubed that link you provided Renmiri - at least there is a flashback of Thane. Better than nothing. I wasn't exactly expecting a cure as it was just the "extendede cut" of the end. If you chose destroy, and that "breath" IS Shepard - they can do all new stories with Shepard - just like MS is doing with Master Chief (yes I know everyone but me hates Halo) - he was "dead" at the end of Halo 3 - until you got to the credits
At least I hold out a little hope that Shepard will be back to continue fighting/building etc....

I watched a friend live stream, and Thane was in with Legion and Mordin flashbacks on her playthrough.  Guess the videos I watched were glitched. The ending are better presented, it answered some nuances, but I still feel like it was all a bad idea. And for me, no, it's not just because of Thane. I have issues with the Geth and EDI, I have issues with the Jesus theme, I have issue with the tons of shock value they stuffed into this game.

On that note, I recommend not shooting that kid unless for giggles.

Watched all the videos on youtube. Glad they decided to include Thane in the flashback, but still really not liking those endings lol. I guess the rest of the game would need to be different too though for me to be satisfied. It's just all so depressing for me. Meh.

I just finished and I'm not a fan. Although I do sort of wish that if I'd known they were going to do the extended cut, I would have left my original playthrough unfinished to just get "one" ending - not a crappy one, and then that same crappy one that is "explained" a little more.
I chose synthesis, and got Mordin and Legion when she talked about losses. I did get Thane in the flashback though as Shep swan dived into oblivion.
Still want Thane cured or his life prolonged. MORE THANE.

I wonder why this is, I keep hearing this, that he only shows during the first set of flashbacks and not the second on the synthesis.

Gifs are not my specialty, I fail at them but I will try.  However if anyone here can do it...I beg of you.  If not, I will keep trying.  Still images I can do, video files...I end up playing with them forever until they are just right.
