ETA: @ Vlk3 I agree with you wholeheartedly about the ME2 ending.

lol I edited my post because I'm not sure if we're allowed to talk about it here in-depth. Not sure what the new rules are.

If I didn't give a flying rats behind about Thane then I'd be quite content with the endings now. I'd probably replay the game. But since Thane's treatment is my problem with the game (oh and graphical issues), then I am not able to enjoy the game.
I just hope enough people are happy with it. If enough people start banging on BW's door about wanting more in ME3, then there is still hope for Thane.

@utaker: I thought one of our complaints was the flashbacks? So then... it appears.. that they fixed that. Perhaps, if they provided something more... like a joining across a sea. Then I can see what the problem is.
Will someone correct me already, I seem like the only one here who doesn't have a problem with the outcomes. Remember who you are talking too. lol.

For those that don't want to watch a whole ending, here's your cheap way out...just the flashback.

I agree with you.. For what I expected (very litte) it was ok. Didn't fix anything for Thanemancers but the flashback. didn't fix hijacking my options wheel. but gave me at least an ending i can play. I won't take destroy because w/o Thane my Sheppard cares more about saving EDI and the geth than about saving herself. She wants to go meet Thane across the ocean.

Pretty much all of this. It's a case of too little too late. Am I happy he showed up in the end? Suprised yes, happy no. Why? Because he is dead.
I loved utaker's idea on the other thread.

Congratulations on bringing an end to the Reaper threat. Commander Shepard has become a legend, and from here you can continue to build that legend.
It has been a long journey--for Shepard and for the team here at BioWare--and like Shepard, we couldn't have done it alone. The Mass Effect trilogy began as the vision of a small team, but over the years it has grown. That growth has been fueled and shaped by the feedback and support of our player community. Thank you for joining us on this journey, and we look forward to sharing further adventures with you in the Mass Effect universe.

I chose synthesis, and got Mordin and Legion when she talked about losses. I did get Thane in the flashback though as Shep swan dived into oblivion.

Thank you, utaker! Would it be possible to get an animated gif of the flashback. Please? *begs*
His little smile breaks my heart into a million pieces.
