How does exactly this model-replacement work? It's quite amazing, that almost all the models behave like they were default ones for all the remakes.

also, Thane looks the best in his "Fight for the lost" cinematic :-)

Also, I have a game! Imagine that ME3 has ended. And there is an epilogue detailing what happens to each character. What would Thane's epilogue be. (You can be as wacky as you want )

My lame attempt: After neck snapping the 67th reaper to cross his path, Thane decided to engage in a more peaceful lifestyle. He began to host a yoga class for Krogans on Tuchanka. After the cybernetics that increased his life expectancy and improved his lungs and breathing capacity, he was able to live a full and active life with his Siha, the fabled Commander Shepard. The lived together in a desert on the wastelands of Tuchanka, frollicking and chasing after pyjacks. Kolyat and their former squadmates would frequently visit the couple, who insisted that they all bring them gifts of fish each time they came to visit. But his assassin lifestyle was hard to abandon, and Shepard noticed with fondness, that the drell would still leave a trail of bombs in his path when Wrex requested his aid in bringing down an opposing clan.

Hard to say. For those that romance Thane, the second quote works so much better. Sadly though not everyone romances Thane, so they have to go with something that would work for everyone.

Thane is quoted as saying "Without death, how would we know the value of life?" But I don't think I've ever heard him say it and I can't find any videos either. Does he actually say it and if so, what dialogue options do you need to pick to make him say it?

I believe he also says the line "I hope I don't offend you if I carry you in my heart," if you do break up with him. Either that, or if you're already involved with someone else. Don't really remember what I read. Never actually tried breaking up with him in any of my playthrough's.

In the convo where you break up with Thane, you hold hands across the table, ask how he is. And then Shepard says that she isn't sure that she can love a dying man. Which Thane understands, and respects her decision. And then he says that line. ^

Don't worry GoldenOwl! I asked because I am pretty sure we will be getting character/species epilogues in ME3, it is the last in the series. And also, the DA series has epilogues. It is becoming a new fad in RPGs in general.
So I will be VERY excited to see how a romanced Thane epilogue would be done!

I don't think I've posted here before, but I always try to get the opinions of the different fanbases when I write about a certain character.

Thane has just appeared in my potential Mass Effect 3 fanfic, and I was wondering what you thought of how he's been introduced here. There's a choice linked to his introduction, so I was also wondering if that's a Paragon/Renegade choice you'd be interested in seeing in ME3.

He says that when you try to break up with him and then you don't. I hope that makes sense.

It does. I couldn't find any videos on youtube with someone taking that second option of "changing their mind." Only actually breaking up with him.

I think I have found a video in the past where Thane has said the line.  I can't remember the person who uploaded it or even if it is still on Youtube.  I can try to find it again if you really want it.

Why would anyone break Thane's heart though?  Such sad eyes.

Oh wow! I liked that! I hope everyone votes to save Thane. That is a really hard choice...goes great with all the other hard choices Shep is tasked with in the games. I think you did a great job!
