@Myth and @Beanie - Thanks for the looksie, ladies! Myth, if you have story ideas for DLC I still think you should post them. I personally would love to see them. (I do remember your collabrative DLC suggestion, but it must have been when I was viewing the site on my phone....can't post from it. Then of course, I promptly forgot because that is how much of a Ding-Dong I can be. <stinkeye>)

@Beanie - Loved da shoes!! I am actually looking at doing a Thane inspired graphic for a new cycling jersey (hoping to actually do a triatholon next year, if I can get my butt in gear.) Love those colors.

As for Romance DLC, I would agree that the likelyhood of that is slim to none. This is why I have been suggesting (along with others) for months that we push for strong story/gameplay DLC that INCLUDES romance content. It would also allow the LI content to be spread out over multiple SP DLC. For example, I focused on DLC that highlights the underused ME2 squadmates, but that could be played without the ME2 exsquaddies if they are already dead (or you started a play through beginning with me3).
That way the LI's from ME2 that are not me3 squadmates, get a bit more romance content in that DLC (something they SHOULD have got in the main game, but we work with what we got....). Another DLC could focus on story/plot revolving around things brought up during the main game, and utilizes the current me3 squad. In that DLC they could add extra romance content for the me3 LI's. I think everyone gets where I'm going with this, so I will stop rambling. Need coffee.

i think i will step out of this this time, because i had other VA's nevertheless i love farley as thane, for me it's not thane, for me it's mr. konstantin graudus, sorry guys i think you all express it more better than me^^

That makes sense.....I'm assuming he is a German VA?  If he is one of the German VA's for ME, you should totally give a little love to him on that site.  The non-English speaking VA's shouldn't get ignored.....

Once more about Romance DLC..I was thinking about this and Im very pesimistic, but...maybe there is at last small hope for fixing Thane content. There a few things thad needs be fixed.
and maybe it's not too expensive and don't need to much work?
-Hospital dialog. For FemShep who romanced with Thane there's no dialogs. I think, that those we got are ratcher for friendship ( except Paragon interrupt-kiss). I think we should have a chance to tell Thane that Shepard is there for him, and care about her drell. Also FShep should be able to tell him that she love him. Plus less Kaidan's subject
-If Shepard after break up with Kaidan on Horizon, and after she moved o, we should have a chance to tell Kaidan that Thane is important. Not those " Im sorry" things we got
-After Thane was wounded in a fight against Kai Leng Devs could give us a chance to show some emotions ( something similar to scene after Mars)
-If there's no cure option for Devs possible, and Thane death is a set in stone, I would prefer scene I saw in leaked script. Current scene is nice too, but this one, when Thane before died remember theirs night before Omega Relay was more touching...at last for me

@moira - You do need an account, but it is really easy to set up.

@RGC_Ines - Totally understand the pessimism, but I still think they could offer us much (for Thane character arc/romance arc/having him live to the end of the game) even just as added LI content in a Story DLC (doesn't have to be romance specific DLC). Whether or not they do this, I figure we have nothing to lose by throwing out these ideas, and see if any take shape. If not, we are no worse off.

All I wanted is for my idiot Shep to tell Thane she loved him and he mattered. Whether he lived or died, it was all I wanted my Shep to do. To let the man that woke up my emotionally void Shep, that he gave her something that can never be paid back. Love. FFS, was it too hard to say "I love you, Thane." Good God almighty, would have it been too difficult graphic wise to have Shep reach over and take Thane's hand as he died? Apparently, touching only occurs if she's acting like a horny b**ch in regards to Thane. How about a graphical tear? What about reaching out to Kolyat, "I'm sorry about your father, Kolyat." No, what we get is Shep thrown right out of the damn room. There is no amount of "we forgots" during that death scene that can be said that I will buy as truthful. They were writing a death scene, not a fight scene. What I will buy as truthful is, "Well we didn't put as much time into Thane because, really, he didn't matter much to us in this game. He wasn't important enough for us to bother with. Yes, he was made for female gamers for ME2 but we are now on ME3 and that's the game that matters now. We moved on. We are aware of what you want but in all honesty, it isn't going to happen because we DGAF about Thane."

The other scripts were better. If I recall correctly, there were many who screamed when they read it because they didn't like it. BW said they were taking feedback on the leaked scripts. I admit I was not fond of Thane dying in those scripts and I said so. Looking back I should have STFU because it is better than what we got. Whoever wrote that apparently paid attention to Thane (at least a little)...so now...care to tell me the drawbacks of a large writing team again?

Nah, I didn't have a power failure. Believe it or not...living in the middle of nowhere. I was loading up ME3 again so I could get the subtitled screen shots of that one visit with Thane at Huerta. Which I did and put up, ugh. I'm sorry but I thought my graphics card was that bad so I ordered a replacement and then realized that Thane just looks that sh**ty in the game.

I noticed the difference when I did a ME2 runthrough over the weekend. Everything looked so much better (to me) than what we got in ME3. Especially the animations and that includes FemSheps wicked neck glitch. At least in ME2 people don't look like gumby gorillas.

With a romance, I want a picture of Thane on Shepard's desk, and it should stay there even if Shepard decides to move on. And if Shepard doesn't move on, she should pout at the picture with sad music.

I remember when I first ran the demo and I shrieked, "Good lord I hope they fix that!!! Tell me my Shep isn't going to look that bad!" Yeah, well she looks that bad. I don't know what they did, I just hope they never do it again.

But then again DA:O Zevran compared to DAII Zevran. I had nightmares.

Yeah, LT, I wish there was a pic too.  I mean if they can put a pic of Kaidan up on my desk in ME2 and my Shep had been dead for 2 years, I would think that after what 6 months..an LI pic could be there.  

Make it better, make the pic interactive, smack your spacebar and some nice flashbacks of that person plays.  Maybe that is asking for too much.

Blow up Thane ? Maybe they have it in Amsterdam, they even have blow up sheep! 

Well, is one of the reasons I brancheed into Skyrim modding and Second Life avatars. So we Thanemancer can have a bit of time with Thane somewhere.

If only I could get Thane's head look right in Skyrim!!!  I can tell you guys how to edit the dialog to add Thane's voice. Wouldn't it be nice to have a companion looking like Thane saying "Siha" with Thane's voice while you are mid dungeon crawling ? 

On Second Life, having a Thane avatar is awesome, there are so many possibilities to role play and use animations.. But no voice

As far as editing ME3 to add Thane content, is too early to do more than a few cosmetic changes. Maybe in 2-3 months...

I'm afraid to say I don't think BioWare will make a Romance DLC. I really, really hope they do, but it seems unlikely. What they might do is add a bit more content with the LIs with other DLC... but probably not much and probably not very soon.

And now (sorry to change the subject) I am looking for some opinions... I designed some shoes over on the Converse website based on Thane a wee while ago, and now I am thinking of actually getting them... what do you think? See anything that needs changing? Any suggestions appreciated

Ohhhh deja vu. I do believe someone wanted to give me a Thane blow up doll. I would, of course, happily accept it.

edit: I thought I should clarify...a life size, anatomically correct Thane doll. Yes, it needs to have ridges.
