Oh, aello, mystery solved.. From the link above:

Chris Hepler, writer of the Mass Effect 3 art book as well as Thane Krios and EDI, and Sylvia Feketekudy, writer of Mass Effect Homeworlds issue 4 as well as Liara and Samara, at 11:00-12:00 on Thursday and 11:00-12:00 on Sunday.

Was just gonna post this but you beat me to it. I live in San Diego but I'm off doing research on the East coast for the summer. God damn I picked the wrong week (this week) to take a break.
Anyone going to this? Anyone?

@Renmiri: Thank you for letting me know *takes torches and pitchforks then marches*.

As much as I would love to go to San Diego con one day, I live in Europe so no San Diego for me, but I'll be attending GamesCon most probably.

Really? That's awesome. I hope Tully is there, you know just to show my new wonderful pitchfork and stuff...
and to tell him how hard it is to romance Thane when Bioware gives a ****  poo about it.

Plus getting my hands on new ACIII won't be bad either, ohohoho.

I'll probably be there from start to end. Since I'm not exactly from Germany, getting there for only a day or two wouldn't be that economical (plus it's better to write stuff/blog/report seeing everything in such case). Really?! Wow that's great, please do annoy the hell out of  be kind to him.  Did he reply about the interview?

Ia saw the thread. You guys are really awesome doing all this, ah, I feel so useless. Though I hope I participate enough by supporting you guys and making occasional posts now and then.

Oh no. I can't handle all the feels Chris has provoked in me and they're not pretty. So I can't really decide if I would be happy to see him there or glad enough to give him the evil eye.

You're too sweet Moria. They're literally trolololing us with their nonsensical twitter posts and you're so kind (as well as other participating in the project) to consider giving them gifts....aww. That's really nice actually. But I really feel so bad after seeing how much efford you all put into doing this only to get a...."bah move on" answers from either Tully of Chris.

Lol, I've always wondered if Thane's throat could inflate or do anything weird..

Question is WHEN does he puffs his throat... ;) Certainly doesn't seem surprise / stress / aggression related.. mating?  You know some parts of the body swell during mating

first of all, thanks ^-^ i'm just trying to figure something our what we can do^^

me too...i dont have the best opinion of him...he's nasty...
but at least, he's the communty coordinator in canada and so i guess the head of the three...so i will be as nice as i could be and tully really likes thane, so i have a chance then...and i will ask tully for an interview, not chris, if i will get one with both, nevertheless..

well i don't want to do any protesting thing again. chris seemed a bit annyoed and i want that the fan base is reminded in a positive way. best way is to make present. and with something like this the discussion is easier. i know the treatment from them was not the best (well except tullys post in thane dlc thread, he at least was always kind) i'm want to make some thane related, but just to remind them.
i asked daicotje if there are wristbands left, that i could give to them. let's see how all this went out

Tully likes Thane? That's newsflash for me. I consider him being more "leaf in the wind", don't really know what to think of his attitude.

Yeah, that's true. Trying to achive something, even if it's just letting them know about our opinions/argumetns etc. by being pro-active not pessimistic or agressive about it.
Hope all the efford will come to fruition eventually, I really really do.

Yeah, I suppose Tully likes Thane. He's also the one who said this:

Player choice is important, but we also believe those choices are only meaningful when part of a storyline that bears some reality or truth. With Thane, the player faced the experience of developing a bond with a character that had a terminal disease. We felt it would have trivialized Thane’s experience, and the value of that kind of storyline, if the player was able to simply “solve” his problem and let him live happily ever after.

I don't think he hates him but he's quite satisfied with the way Thane's story arc concluded.

I should say that not wanting someone to die is different than being satisified with how something went.  For example,  he didn't want Thane to die but is satisfied that Thane went out the way he did and not die between ME2 and ME3.

I can understand that he was quite satisfied with Thane's story conclusion.

But he's also the one who wrote that presenting an option to prolong Thane life would trivialize his (Thane's) character and story. The only thing that boggles my mind is that for us who romanced Thane, his character and story were already trivialized from the very start.
Basically by defending the players -  who believe Thane's death was just and in order, as was his role in ME, conversations included - from having their game trivialized, he flat out diminished the other group (shockingly) of players who simply took the given option of romancing Thane. For someone who said that player choice is imporant, he clrealy forgot that our choice was the one being trivialized - not that much him dying but the fact that nobody seemed to care about the change in Thane's character development if romanced in Mass effect 2 which is as we already know completely forgotten..

but you have to keep in mind that he's representative of bioware in here, so he has to bring their opinion first of all even if he has not the same opinion, aello

True, I am aware of it, Moria. It's a disappointing but sad truth. Hope he'll share more of his own opinion with you if you get him to do the interview.

Patrick Weeks was really understanding too. He at least said they "dropped the ball" which explained a lot of things.
I hope you're right about Tully, it's always good to know that developers offer some ol' good support for fans of their games and characters .

God, Bioware is so awful on customer service!

I'm not used to this kind of treatment. Square may have botched Final Fantasy 14, but they did their best to fix it. Blizzard LISTENS to WoW players. Even if it takes a year or two.. But all our complaints and suggestions are treated as valid, not as "entitled".

UGH

Oh don't make me do the bad Sovereign quote.....

There is a realm of bulls**t so far beyond your own you cannot even imagine it.  I am beyond your comprehension.  I am Mass Effect 3.

Then there is the George Carlin reference...

When it comes to bulls**t, big-time major league bulls**t, you have to stand in awe of the all-time champion of false promises and exaggerated claims, Bioware.
