I, as most of you know, am a woman. As such, I pack far too much sh!t whenever I travel. Thane offered to help me repack everything so that it would actually fit in my suitcases.

And naturally, as soon as we got to the trainstation for our connection to the state capital, Brisbane, we find out that the train is 2.5 hours late. So here we are, me and Thane, waiting for the train. (I got a lot of writing done before my battery died, and I had to wait for a powerpoint on the train to continue working.

I managed to find a powerpoint and continue working, while Thane enjoyed the scenery passing us by. By the way, that text on the laptop screen is the Fanbook Essay. The black is the original text, the purple are the multiple alterations and edits, and the green stuff is the final version that I uploaded.

And finally, three hours late, WE ARRIVE! We book into the hotel, and look at the city nightscape we get from our hotel balcony!

We had dinner via room service, because it had been a really long journey. Thane shared my Seered mushroom, broccolinni and salt-and-pepper-encrusted Tofu, and read up on our new holiday destination.

Today, Mum and I decided to go shoppin for our trip to Canada and Alaska to go cruising and see Cosmo! Thane, however, elected to stay behind. Personally I think he had a bad shopping experience with Irikah, but what do I know.

Yeah, I definitely think he had a bad shopping experience with Irikah, because the look he gave us when we came in with new luggage and bags of shopping he just gave us this slightly disapproving look. Not that he can judge, since he just spent the day in bed watching tv.
