Never thought about Joker being Kaidans source for the rumors. But, hey, it's possible. Joker knew about the Shep-Kaidan relationship since ME 1 and maybe when talking to Kaidan about "the good old times" some remarks about Shep and having someone new might have slipped out of his mouth. After recognizing his "mistake" he decided not to go into detail about Shep's new relationship to save what can be saved.

You get the same dialog even when you first talk to Thane and later on to Kaidan. No difference.

I don't know what is worse - Shep first swearing Kaidan that she didn't want to cheat on him (or lying to him) and one minute later telling Thane that there is nothing more between her and her fomer lover, or vice versa. I have to think about it for a while to make a decision. All I know even now is that it is totally out of charakter for my FemShep. She is straight in fighting and the same whith personal things. And she is selfconfidend enough to clear things up instead of lying.
Her strange behavior must be the first sign of indoctrination. No other explanation for her really bad behavior.

If you could promote the Survey one last time for us, that would be great.  It closes tomorrow so today is that last big push to try to reach 10,000 surveys.  All the sites if possible.   Twitter, FB, tumblr, dA, etc.

Also, promote the new poll over on HTL as much as you can on all the different sites.  This one is important as it explicitly asks for a cure.  It was probably a bit risky putting it up, as we might get alot of people popping in to vote "no".  You never know.

Make sure when you cite the BSN poll you focus on the percentages and what Thane won by, as it is a bit mroe explanatory.  244 votes alone doesn't sound like an incredible amount.  But, if you put it in the context of the following, it explains the results much more thoroughly:

--the poll had almost 900 votes
--votes were split among all ME2 LIs
--Thane was the clear favorite with 28% of the vote
--Thane won by 12 percentage points (Miranda and Jack were tied at 16%  for 2nd and 3rd place)

Today is the last day for the poll? Alright... I shall give it one last push through the sites!

OH *face palm* that does indeed makes more sense, thanks for pointing it out to me. I'll correct the information the next time I give an update.

You know, giftfish, outside of BSN there is so many people (outside of the Thane group) who really isn't against the save option... in matter of fact, they were expecting one and kinda think it's lame one wasn't given The general feeling I get is that there is no variables for Thane, he just dies everytime. Which gets old after awhile if you are replaying the game. A cure would change things up.

To tell everyone the truth, I just think BioWare is full of it nowadays.

Oh yes the NYCC... I still haven't been able to find any hard information on it, but I think I need to book for it.

Hmmm..... allright. I'll help out on dA too if you want, but until the Fanbook is done it will come first. Given our real life problems on my and Dani's end, and the fact that we're the only ones working on it now, I don't know when that would be, but as soon as I get the essay sorted it should be a quick hop, skip, and jump to printing and publishing.

Although, I'm not a premium member on dA so I don't know if I can admin more than one group or not.

Ooh, ooh, guess what. My Thane poster arrived while I was away! One of the Assassin ones that I broke my role and actually bought over eBay because BW doesn't have any in stock anymore. My only question now is.... where do I put him?

you get? than it's a mistake in the german version because i did not. i just get it in this order, when i'm talking to thane first, there was no reaction...just this senctence "I'm here to see kaidan"...
well not the first translation mistake...thane said in me3 in german "es geh, meine söhne besuchen mich oft" what means in english: "it's alright. my SONS are visting me quiet often" i fall out of the chair like. thane...is there anything you haven't told me yet

Since I am German I know the German version, too.
I've been pretty sure that I got the "Is there something I should know"-dialog in any case, but I will check it on my videos. Maybe I am wrong - the last time I played this scene ist months ago now (now motivation to do da new FemShep playthrough and still have to finish one since weeks).

Yes, when first heard "Söhne" I reacted like this:
And I asked myself if there is something Thane did not tell Shep.
And I was hoping for some more information about Thane's mysterios other sons.

A special Romance dlc (for all romances) would be fantastic. We need more love in the ME universe especially when there is a good chance Shep will not survive the end of the game!

Anyone here read the Mass Effect comics? Apparently in Liara's issue of Homeworlds we get to see Kahje. Takes place between ME2 and ME3 so maybe Thane will be there...

I've not bought a single BW anything since the ME3 fiasco. I will be utterly sick if the use some crappy comic to do some explaining of Keprals and why Thane was how he was in ME3...I'm about to combust just thinking about it! Kahje isn't Liara's homeworld so maybe Thane will be in it. One thing's for sure I'll not be buying it.
