/*Note, these changes were made in 2010, today the page is much longer, but the line L'Etoile edited is still there.
Sadly, I haven't heard anything about L'Etoile for some time (Works at ZeniMax now iirc).
He does have a link (on his wikia page) to a couple of blog entries he made some time ago though.

Added to the Story Arc thread.
Debating whether to bump the "does not trivialize" thread with a screenshot or not. I'll admit, it's to prove to the trolls that we have solid proof, while they just have opinion....

Do you have a link or copy of your save option ideas? I don't think I ever got to see it.
Link to which one hun? To the original idea or poster? The Original Idea is what started this mess, the poster is what started the phenomenal. The Campaign is now beyond my own understanding.
Not entirely sure I understand what you posted, so I am including the original post I made:

1) I know there is people who are more in support of us (male and female). If you take a quick glance at my poster I made, most of these people aren't even on BSN. Hell, if you take a look at the original piece I made for Thane in regards of an save option.... the support I received hits though the roof.

The bolded part is what I was refering to. The way I read it was that you wrote an original piece regarding a save option for Thane. I was interested in reading your outline for a save option. I assumed you were talking about something like @RSharas extensive diagram or @Sunnybunnie's ideas (been so long since she has been around, I admit I don't remember her idea specifically anymore....miss that girl), or my ideas for added options and romance content added to a story driven DLC. I love reading new story line ideas, and obviously I have a soft spot for outlines/ideas/stories that fix Thanes outcome in me3.

I have an idea to stop him being stabbed. It involves a longer fight, Shepard actually doing ****, and Kolyat being involved in the mission, and NOT becoming a priest (bloody lazy stupid stereotype...)
Wait - Kolyat has become a priest?
In my headcanon Kolyat works for C-Sec, helping Bailey with all the bad guys and saving the "Dralafar" kids.
Btw: Would have been great if Kolyat pops in in the KL fight to help Thane with this bast...rd.
Oh, well, another idea is coming to my mind now: Kolyat (working for C-Sec) could have gone after KL, fighting with him and getting into distress during the fight ... in this moment Thane drops out of nowhere to save his son ... getting stabbed. There's no need for Shepard to be involved in this mission, and therefor no need to stand around just watching Thane getting stabbed and doing nothing to help him and leaving him behind without caring for him just for a second when going after KL.

As Squeegee told you, I'm currently trying to make people talk about Thane on the French BSN. I've presented the SaveThane project and websites and explained to them why we're not satisfied... at all. The French BSN isn't as active as the English one, but I'm happy to say that I gathered support from non-Thanemancers, who read what I wrote and said they were with us (I don't know where the French Sihas are...).
Some French people are not very comfortable with English (so I don't think we'll see them express themselves spontaneously on the websites), but they were interested in me keeping them updated about any projects or ideas we'd have.
On that thread, a person told me that Thane is indeed mentioned after his death, in a whole scene that takes place in front of the memorial, on the Normandy.
I don't think I saw that scene in my own game: I was under the impression that the only person who mentions Thane is Kai Leng...
I don't want to say something wrong, so could somebody confirm the existence of that scene?
I would have picked a save and replayed the Citadel Coup to verify it, but I currently have a "DLC identification" problem and I can't play ^^'
Edit: English mistakes

Side note: BW Take note of this sh!t I'm doing, asking for the loyal fan's input, those that are devoted, love, and know the character best, and the one thing that loyal fans can not stand is butchering of their beloved characters. See Take Notes on this BW!
Hello my friends, I have been busy with real life. Crap I sometimes wish that I could just live on the computer and not have to do and worry about other stuff.
Anyway while I've been busy with that stuff I have also been busy working on my Fanfics, and I am still trying to pin down Thane's dialogue and nail it perfectly. Essepssialy this one part because it was and now shall be intended to sort of set a theme and be a pivotal thing in my Fanfics.
That being said I don't need any help with my Shep's Dialogue, just Thane's. I come here seeking your input and advice on how to better pull off Thane's dialogue. Any and all critics will be greatly appreciated, any changes I can make to how Thane words stuff and the grammar and punctuation used for his dialogue is what I'm looking for. I really want to nail this and capture his character, hell I don't want to I need to capture Thane perfectly.
So without further ado I shall drop this dialogue section on you again, with my inprovements I have implemented since last time.

Shep: “Thane, this battlesleep while you were in it, what was it like inside your mind?”
Thane bowed his head and momentarily paused. Looking as if he was about to slip into one of his solipsism flashbacks, but just blinked. He looked up, meeting Shepard's gaze, before speaking, “Nothing, my mind was not there. My body was merely drifting in this world, awaiting to be delivered to the sea, and be reunited with Irikah. "
Shep: “So what awoke you?”
“You, it was a slow process and did not start until after you recruited me in the Dantius Tower. Had you not come down here and continued to talk with me, I may never have woken.”
Shep: “What about the message about your son, Kolyat, wouldn't that have woken you?”
“I doubt it, Kolyat was to receive that after I died. When I was in my battlesleep, I had been looking to die. That is one reason why I did the Dantius job. When I first came on board, my body was your weapon to command. I had a single purpose, the mission, going through the Omega-4 Relay, and stopping the Collectors. My body was merely being directed to my next chance to be reunited with Irihah. Shepard, when you kept coming down here asking questions, that is what woke me. I shall not dwell on what would have become of Kolyat had our paths never crossed.”
Shep: “Once the Collectors are stopped what do you plan to do?”
“There is much I intend to see through with my life. I do not intend to squander this chance at living again. I have not been there for Kolyat, I can and will now. I would also like to help you rid the galaxy of the Reapers.”
Shep: “To atone for the things you've done?”
“Perhaps, but that is an overly simplified way of putting it. The Reapers are a foe few can comprehend. If so few can
comprehend them, then defeating them is infinitely more difficult to fathom. Is it not better to have something more than self preservation, heroic glory, or even the incomprehensible term of all life in the galaxy at stake? Koylat's full life is ahead of him, so long as the Reapers are stopped. Shepard do you have something your fighting the Reapers for? Something personal, or is your reason merely saving lives?”

Also, I finally loaded up ME2 on my PS3 (torturing myself I know) and I'm annoyed all over again.
Now I get why people didn't like the Genisis comic. Liara description? "Beautiful as she is intelligent?" What? Don't put words into my mouth. And when I played ME1 on the Xbox I never took Liara to Noveria. Nice to see how the blueberry was being shoehorned in even then.
And all the attention on the VS? Really? The passing mentions of Garrus, Tali, and Wrex irked me greatly.
I'm also annoyed that, as a female player, I'm forced to Kaidan alive so my straight femShep has someone to romance in ME3 (If I even migrate this to PS3 ME3). I'm annoyed that I'm pretty much forced to romance Garrus too since Thane or Jacob won't be available. So this ME2 playthough might be just a one time thing since they stripped out so much choice for femShep in ME3.
Sigh. I had so much hope when I originally played ME2 years ago. Now? It almost feels like torture.

Funny how they caved to the straight male gamer in ME3 regardless. Ptttfff. I wonder what the hell happened.

Maybe something like...
Thane: You have been in battle. You remember the focus on your target. There's nothing but you and your goal. Imagine this state in every part of your life. It's an...emptiness within, where nothing can touch you.
For the rest....is this a romanced or friend Shepard?
