I like Captain Kirrahe of course it's just I don't find it fair that someone with such a small part in the game has more luck than Thane who has a bigger part in the game!
Thane Thread 'It's difficult. All things worth keeping are.' Spoilers will be neck-snapped.

I should get back to making a proper Thane companion for Skyrim. Doesn't seem likely Bioware will do anything with Thane
It should be fair game to copy art and stuff from characters the IP owner kills and refuses to use -.-

Anyway, I've been a huge fan of this group since I played ME3 and was so hugely disappointed in just about everything in it. Big Thane fan, and very upset at his treatment. So much so, that it actually got me looking around and finding this forum, so in a way, it introduced me to a whole new world of social in gaming.
I've been voting in polls where I could, and now that I finally got off my ar*e and figured out how to post, I plan on being even more active. I know I'm late to the party, but hopefully I can still be of help, and maybe even hang out with some like minded awesome people.
So...howdy!

You know what get's me? That Captian Kirrahe has a chance to live but Thane doesn't!

You are so right about that, Roxy.
But if you mention this in other non-Thane threads they'll tell you, that Kirrahe wasn't doomed by a deadly desease like Thane and therefore he has the right to be saved. Oh well, and the second thing those guys will tell you is that it is your own fault to take a dead ill person as LI and that you don't have the right to complain when this LI dies without any chance to be saved.
**sigh**In the ME universe they bring back to life dead people like Shep, they cure the genophage, they build synthetics and AIs, give humans biotic skills, travel from one planet to another in minutes, they can create geneticly perfect humans, bread Krogans in tanks ... but no cure for Thane:(, not even a live prolonging treatment. That's really ridiculous.
What I always wonder about: Why do the Hanar wait so long start researches for a cure/genetic adaption program? I mean ... the Drell live on Kahje and serve the Hanar for a long time. It would have been for both species of benefit to start looking for a cure as soon as they know about the Kepral's.

That would be a good idea for a sidequest: Shep helps the Hanar with some stuff - and his reward is a cure for the Drell hold secret by the selfish jelly fish. The devs could have combined this with Kasumi's mission on the Citadel.mnomaha wrote...
And back to my conspiracy theory of the Hanar holding back the cure because the Drell do things for them that they can't do themselves...aka legal, willing slaves.
@Moira: Hey, Thane is in Germany now:happy:? Does he like it? The weather today should be perfect for him - no rain, much sun.

ooh! Is that the mini-Thane plushie you're giving to Tully and that at Gamescon? He's adorable!!!!
Agreed. That would have been the PERFECT side-quest. Hell, you could have even had KOLYAT do that if Thane was too sick (*cough* bUllsh!t *cough*) or if you failed his LM and he died. I would have LOVED to see Kolyat after a failed LM, just to find out how he turned out! But alas, another lost opportunity.
And while we're at it, let's be honest. In ME3, all Thane really needed was these:
