It's probably something Bioware just made up. They never give a real explanation for what it means.
You have to take him to the Citadel hear them call him that. It only happens once, I only got it in game once with a shepard that romanced him. I don't think you get it if you didn't romance him, but I'm not sure.

You do get it irregardless of romace, it's who's in the party (and your Shep's gender) that decides who the ad will refer.

At one point I had Jacob and Thane with me on my Jacobmancer playthrough and I got the Sere Krios line actually. So if there's two eligible LI's in the party it's random I guess.

You can repeat it too, the ad-pillar cycles through the ads each time it's clicked.
Why do I even know this...I spent way too much time being silly in ME2 I guess that said, I regret nothing!

But knowing BW and the way they like to troll the Thane fans, I wouldn't be surprised if they meant sere in reference to it's dictionary meaning which I believe is "dry and withered."

So Thane has a made up title, is part of some African community or is dry and withered. Or it could just be Sir and it's being spelled as the VA pronounced it.

Was that a glitch? Isn't it suppose to pick the one you are involved with if you are in a romance with someone?
The only time it picked a random person was with the Shepard that was with Kaidan. All the other times it picked the correct romanced character.

Wouldn't that be just like BW to do that. They just had someone flip through a dictionary and pick a word. Then give it to Thane as a title and not no what it really means. Dry and withered is bad, but it could have been worse. It could have meant ugly or stupid. Luckily it doesn't.

Maybe the VA is saying it the wrong way. Maybe it was suppose to be Sir and bioware just thought Sere looked and sounded better.

Anybody around who wants to give an old gal some help at installing her new graphics card?? I have spent the past 3 and half hours doing google searches because I read (I shouldn't read, dammit) that using the uninstaller for the the AMD Catalyst, if you have an AMD processor, can cause problems (like the removal of chipset drivers, when all I want removed is the video card drivers). Looking to see if anyone has some time to answer a few questions. Thanks in advance to anyone willing to coddle me.

Hmm odd...I could have sworn it said the same line about Thane in the Jacobmancing playthrough.

The words from the LoTSB letter are nice but the pic Wait wut?

And on the subject of poetry, I've been working on a little something; a mini-project for Moira's visit to Gamescom(And credit to the idea goes to her as she is the one who came up with it) 

If there is not enough time for the entire project to be finished in time for Gamescom then at least a "teaser" could be made. (Psst, Moira is that ok with you?)

Basically the project could be called "Word Poetry"* and alongside each "Word" a 3d-rendered artwork would be displayed, the "Words" all have something to do with Thane or Shepard.

As for the artwork, I'll leave my own suggestions in brackets, but if anyone has an idea or feedback (on the art suggestions or the "Words"), then do share them! I might hold polls regarding some details of the artwork, but I'll just leave these ideas here for now:

I have a strange feeling that sometimes my posts cause threads to die. Is it bad grammar or just my style of writing- I don't know. I wrote something regarding 'Thane DLC' in two threads- one ended with my post, second one got one response ( thanks Roxy ). It's only an example, it happened many times before. If I'm doing something wrong, tell me- otherwise I'll never learn how to write properly in English.

It gets hard to keep posting when those mean folks at Bioware gave us so little...

If only Thane was given more dialogue, some comments about the situation that would actually fit his character, there would be an improvement. Still, his death near the beginning of the game forced us to discuss how he dies without an option and against some facts stated in ME2.
I envy people who can think about what could happen to their LI's after the ending - building houses, rising children and so on. Even though my Shep would live on the Normandy and keep fighting bad guys, of course with the help of her beloved drell.

I don't know why, but this made me laugh:


Somehow in ME2 and also in ME3, when someone dies, he always looks ridiculous. Sometimes they're even moving... creepy
