hmmm.....well, I was adopted...... :D

I know that BW is capable of coming up with an OPTION for Thane's character (cure/life extension) for me3, since myself and others have come up with very workable ideas for him (while preserving the current situation should a player wish it OR they don't meet certain criteria. Hell, my idea doesn't even require that you play the DLC BEFORE the coup, and Thane would already be dead, but you could still play the DLC...can anyone say "replayability"....weeeee!) that could be included in DLC (and this in NOT Thane-centric DLC). But, whether BW will bother ever doing something like this is well........

That's another arguement that I always thought stupid. "We can't do a dlc for so-and-so because they might be dead in some players playthroughs". Really? Does anyone who is going to be buying DLC in 3 months really have just one playthrough. LIke they couldn't get a playthrough where so-and-so is alive?

...though I just realized I have NO playthroughs where Kaidan is alive. Oops :)

That, and people can simply not buy DLC for a character they don't care about. People who are going to buy DLC for specific characters are likely going to do their damndest to keep that person alive.

Also, while I'm here, that scene on Thane's loyalty mission where he's praying, and then those two people cross, and then he's gone?

That's like one of the 10 coolest scenes in the trilogy, right?  I haven't done the legwork to think up my 10 fav scenes, but that one is AWESOME.


I totally agree about that being one of the best scenes in ME2.  There are a lot of great scenes, but the one where he disappears is totally amazing.  There's a video on YouTube set to Heavy In Your Arms by Florence and the Machine, and the creator set that scene to a great phrase in the song.   I actually bought the disk, just because that song now reminds me of Thane.

Wow. i should really come back here more often. I just read the last few pages and just immediately figured out the perfect Conclusion to the Thane fanbook essay. (Yes, still going. It's really kicking my ass. Especially the death scene. 10 paragraphs long that section is yet all the rewrites come to about 15 pages. *sigh*) I forgot just how inspirational you all were! Wubs u!

And BringbackNihlus and krukow? Thank you for being so open minded about this issue. Most people who come in here do treat us with respect but there have been a few that come in here (and the other Thane threads) solely to abuse us. Thank you for not being like that. *squeezehug*!

Also, I think we should all collect these various analyses and essays and send them all in as one big project to. When they're done. Mine will take quite a while because, well, most of you know what I'm dealing with at home so I won't repeat it here. Plus after that's done I've got to get ALL the reference figures up.

And now, for our viewing pleasure (I was going to put this up last night but my internet failed on me again so here it is now) MOAR THANE!!!!!

I bought LotSB even though Liara is one of my least favorite characters in the series... but that was then. Now I will only buy a DLC that includes a fairly sizable fix for Thane.  In its current state ME3 is not equipped to take my numerous imports forward to a reasonable conclusion.  The fact that BW saw fit to make some of the LI choices they provided in ME2 the  wrong choice and punish fans (paying customers) accordingly really pisses me off.

Hey everyone!  I know some of you contributed to the content of the LI Tribute book, so I wanted to share it!  It's finally been printed!   I have these pictures so far and a couple in raw
format that I will need to change to jpeg in order to post.  But it is
spectacular!    We have also started a new ChipIN as the book was
considerably more expensive than we thought due to it's sheer size! 
Everyone's contributions are greatly appreciated, and I know most of you contributed already, so thank you.  Hopefully I can recoup my cost - I paid the remainder!:blink:
