I just added my two bits, but I suspect it will be a little slow going over the weekend. Summer is keeping a number of people busy on Saturdays and Sundays....at least it seems that way by the decrease in posts on the BSN (not just the Thane threads).

Good news. The ME3Explorer package has been updated to allow mods. I will soon be able to post a download for Sheppards room. What should I use on the pillows / sheet ? I like Thane's face for the pillows, but for the sheet maybe that nakie Thane above is best, if I can get the artist's permission !

Ok, so that video awesome b/c:

A.  It has Florence who compltely rocks.  She has this thing that she simultaneously channels Grace Slick & Fiona Apple with a dash of Dido every once and a while.
B.  It has Thane.

Oh, AND....how the f**k do I get to save Thane from falling off the edge after the final human reaper fight in ME2?  I've tried all sorts of squaddies, and I never get to save him (

Ideas?   Does it matter what class I am or something?

Ugh, you know I could have answered that on a whim a month ago but I have ME amnesia now. class does not matter but where his little picture is on the bottom does matter. He has to be on the right hand side. I normally go with Jack/Thane choosing them in that order. Unless I feel like having Thane pull my Shep up onto the Normandy then I will go Zaeed/Thane because 9/10 Zaeed is unloyal in my playthroughs. Meh, when I bring Thane to Zaeed's loyalty mission I have a habit of actually saving the workers.

Sometimes my jerk Shepard will make Zaeed be the one nearly falling off the ledge so I can get a sick laugh out of knowing it was all for nothing as he dies anyway.  Yeah, I know I have very disturbing means of entertaining myself.

Ok during the human reaper fight whoever is on the right will be the squad mate you catch. You can just reload that checkpoint until you get Thane's icon on the right.

As for who catches shepard later on, that's determined by a list. I believe Thane is last so he'd need to be by himself

@giftfish - I do really like that video. it's my second favorite after "Heavy". I also like the one for Garrus set to "No Light, No Light," by F&tM. Garrus is my bro.

As far as saving thane when he's falling, he has be picked second, I belive. I tried picking him first a couple times through, but the person sliding was always my second pick.

Hrm, I'm using my new Android tablet, and it and the forums aren't getting along. I can't quote text because it pastes the text into the reply box as a picture, not text. Very strange.

That kept happening to me too everytime I chose Thane then Garrus  I would end up saving Garrus's ass and it happened again when I would pick Thane second...and then I finally found out....I could 100 percent wrong here..when I picked my team to come with me I would pick Thane first through out the whole time being there that's what I wasn't doing to begin with ...I guess you have to pick Thane first throughout the whole mission for that to happen....but like i said I could be wrong!

I hope tha helped cause the past few times I've done that I would end up saving Thane...so I guess you have to pick him first throughout the mission to be with you!

And sadly, if a squadmate beside Thane survives the the final boss, it will always be that squadmate who pulls Shepard onto the Normandy.
I.e. The other squadmate following you to the final battle beside Thane has to die if one wants Thane to be the one pulling Shepard up.

(Iirc, there is a glitch with this, if every other Squadmate beside Thane died, Thane won't pull Shep onto the Normandy )

Just doing a quick check while I'm rewriting/reediting the death scene and post death section.

I know there are only two lines during Thane's death that are different in the different pts: the opening two lines and Shepard's "goodbye" line at the end. It has just occured to me that these two lines might not be depending on Thane's LI status, but that they might be dependent on Shepard's paragon or renegade status. Since all the youtube vids I've looked at are paragon female or paragon male I don't know if this is true. So for you who have a renegade Shepard who romanced him or didn't romance him, is the dialogue different from that of a paragon Shepard? I got always got the "You can't disappoint me", but I've only done margurite's pt with Thane. For margaret I didn't talk to him because I wanted to see what happened to Thane if we didn't talk to him (and it was just as bad). As such she got the "Meet you across the sea" line, which I assume is LI depended since it indirectly references the LotSB letter.

When I put it up it is going to need HEAVY fact checking by as Many people as possible. Every time I watch that scene I see something new that I forgot to put in to whatever version I've writtin. I'm pretty sure I've forgotten half of it, lost in the pages and pages of rewrites I've done.

On a somewhat brighter note, the playlist I have the death scene in had the Mordin medical advice scene right after it. Even now, after three playthroughs and many, many times watching it on youtube, it still makes me just that little bit embarrased.

@Roxy, yeah I noticed there was some newer faces, here. I've been ...... life takes a dump on people when it wants ya know. So I've been busy.

@Myth, don't know about the renegade dialogue, and all. My only Shep to see it into ME3 was my default mostly Paragon Shep,destined to be forever with blue balls. Because

and I didn't have any FemShep's, so no romanced Thane, if BW fixed his romance I'd create a FemShep just to see it.
