*Phew* Finally finished a Mass Effect  rap video I was busy working on. It was a lot of hard work! I thought I'd share it with you guys since it stars the ME2 crew. Really hoping you enjoy the thane part of it I know I did.

I love watching other people's work because I know the pains it takes to get it just right.

I am done with ME videos for awhile (at least until after xmas). I am making this dvd for my daughter with songs she likes put together with her favorite vamps Spike and Angel (bleh). It has been years since I've watched Buffy but she has really gotten into it and old fangirl memories are starting to surface. Since I was running out of hard drive space, I deleted all the game videos I took from ME2/3 to make room for the Buffy stuff I had to record for her dvd. I've done 8 so far and I think Love Story is my favorite. Didn't think I'd get it to work since it's not my type of music but it's really awesome.

I also thought I'd cry when I deleted all my game videos but then I realized it was for her and not a tear shed. Or it could be that I've moved on from Mass Effect... not quite sure why it didn't bother me as much as I thought it would.

The most painful part is when that darn Spike lights a cigarette...I want to grab my monitor and bang it against a wall. Yeah, quitting has not been easy. LOL. And here it comes....

At least I take solace in the fact that I replace the oral gratification from smoking with Green (Sour Apple) Blow Pops...heh heh.

@Utaker - Congrats on the quitting smoking (smoker for over twenty years; quit almost 8 years ago). Totally understand the difficulties in it...Talk to Shell. You and her can "rage" together..heh!

As much as I love Buffy and Angel (seriously love those shows), I cry just a little, for the lost Thane material. Only because I don't currently have any Thane related videos from my own play throughs (xbox ya know...only DA on PC). I loved your 30 Seconds to Mars video; was hoping to see more.

@Hyrule - Very nice job. Unfamiliar with the track....don't know much hip hop/rap. *head tilt*

Can't help with the rage. The only rage I got was from insomnia. And I think that is getting better now. Then again, you probably saw that all over my facebook. LOL I was going to surprise my mum when she came for a visit in Feb, but damn if she wasn't nagging me about smoking and bronchitis and blahblahblah. So I just told her.

Hang in there T, it does get better.

I...have gone back to my normal sleep habits. Yay!!!!!! And I've decided that smoking stinks. Like literally I get all "ewwww". But I'm not rude like some of *those* ex-smokers.

Fantabulous on getting to sleep again!

I have a love/apathy with the smell of cigarettes. I live near a popular street (trendy restaurants, hip bars, micro-breweries, ect...), and during summer most of these places have sidewalk seating. The smell of summer, food, and cigarettes actually appeals to me. It's a 'sense' memory thing. It reminds me of my trips to Thessaloniki, Greece with my husband (he was born there and his grandmother still lives there), and having a beer or caffe on the Esplanade. So in that scenario, I like the smell of smoke. Rest of the time, I just tolerate it.

@gears - you dirty-birdy, you! A little smut never hurt anyone....hehe.

@gears...is your stuff up on tumblr? I detest that place, but for you I would endure it.

@coldi...yeah that actually makes sense. I think, in this instance, it's the third world coming through. In all my years of smoking...in the US no stained fingers, etc., over here...almost immediately. Substandard/extremely cheap tobacco and products over here. But I suppose it doesn't matter anymore.

I wonder how many of us "not gonna buy it" people are actually playing Leviathan?

TBH playing Mass Effect is downright painful for me right now. I had to make some videos for the survey blog and so got into the 3 games yesterday after not touching them for ages. Was not fun. BW managed to spoil the taste of ME1 and ME2 for me

I haven't played Leviathan either, but I've fired up ME3 a few times in order to get screenshots for 3-D compositing (to use as backgrounds), and yeah, part of me cringes every time I press the ME3 icon...ugh.

Now, ME1 + ME2 are ok, it stings a bit to fire up those two, but I can see myself replaying them again at some point.

But ME3? Nope. Not until Thane is addressed properly and hopefully Jacob being "fixed" too.

@Emeraldd - that is beautiful.

As for Leviathan; I STILL haven't played me3 since March.7th (really not kidding). So obviously I haven't even downloaded the free stuff (EC, MP stuff.....course, I never have played any kind of MP, so....). So no Leviathan. I would buy it (and any other DLC) if they gave us an option for Thane (eye's my DLC idea....yup; I'm such a self promoter...hehe.)

That said, I am currently playing ME1 right now. Got a craving for it (plus I still have a couple of partial play throughs that I started during the last few months before me3 came out. I have a really bad habit of playing multiple play throughs and multiple games at the same time. I also have multiple DAO and DA2 games I am also playing. Meh....I should at least get enjoyment out of that which I love and are already paid for.

MP. I spit on MP. Personally, I'd rather have a redwood shoved up me arse than play MP, much less play Miss Effect 3.

Honestly, I tried playing ME1. Now I'm just playing Chef Ville on facebook. Yeah, thanks bioware.

Psst...One can't eye your DLC idea too much

(That said, I haven't downloaded the other DLC's myself either, but I've extracted the 3d-assets from my brother who has all the DLCs, sans Leviathan)

And I'm off for now, gotta catch a bus, and then go to the dentist (ugh). See y'all later!
