Yeah, I actually have edited some of the casual outfits to have green details instead of "N7 Red"; including the leather dress, it's not visible in the render though.  

It's actually one thing I miss with the customization options in ME, to be able to "tint" the casual outfits as well.
(I do get why you can't; it would chew up too much memory for such a small feature)

Ah well, I guess that's what txtmods/Photoshop is for!

And on the Samantha render, it was kind of my idea to make the render of Samantha have more focus on...hm.. what could you call it...? I guess a more "tender" perspective than that of "Hot Lesbian Action". It seems  I suceeded .

Fun trivia: Samantha's face is actually a screenshot, because of the way NPC heads work, it was not possible to extract Samanthas face model. I had to work with what flycam could provide me with.

Yep, sneaky assassin! :3

I was contemplating the idea of Thane using biotics to pull the zipper, like a certain british intelligence officer does with a magnetic watch in this scene: http://i1263.photobu.../LiveDie013.jpg but I doubted if the idea would come across as clearly as with ye-non biotic version so I opted not to do it.
That, and I don't know how to properly make biotic effects yet :S

That said, I won't be able to resist making more Shrios at Intai'Sei renders.
(Oh yes, the "Thaint", I confess, I've submitted to it completely! But...I regret nothing! After all <ridges> )

And now that I've finally learned how to render in studio-quality, I just need to get some high-res screenshots of Intai'Sei apartment for backgrounds. And voila; High-res renders! Unf.

I'm getting ahead of myself, there's still some more work before I can do more Shrios, but I will do it someday!

Heh, actually *that* wasn't what I had in mind when I made that render, but rather, this scene from a manga:

But, you're naturally 100% free to interpret it that way if you wish

The ME2 one? Nope.

I do have ME3 N7 Edition. And nope Thane is not in that Artbook.
(To be fair the only ME2 squadmate that is featured is Jack)

That said, Thane gets three pages in the "The Art Of The Mass Effect Universe" artbook.
He's the only one who does that actually.

It's the big art-book (184 A4 pages), essentially combining a lot (not all) of the conceptual art for all three of the games, alongside with commentary by the art-team.

mnomaha this son of a b!tch right here has the ME2 collectors edition and Thane is in there. I also wanted to say that the pic of Samara in there Is heavenly I mean it's her looking up and the view down it's a perfect top shot of the path between the heavenly hills. Hahahaha, anyway what did you want to know about Thane being in the ME2 artbook? Pics I can get them if you'd like.

Also sorry to everyone for all them smilies earlier I was like beyond in a goooood mood, like I had drank a whole 12 pack of Mt in 24hours and I was feeling really good after work today, hahahaha sorry for the over indulgence of them.

Emerald you mean the Art of Mass Effect hard cover book? I got that long time ago, hahahaha, Roxy I can get pics of it just give me a tic and not sure how big it is probably the same size as the collectors edition book from ME3, same size as the Gears 3 art book. Yeah about that size can get pics to compare ya all.

Throw your requests in once I hear what Mnomaha wanted I'll jump right to it and you'll all be soooooooooo happy.

It's a life-saver for me whenever I'm making fanart, and the gorgeus artwork, which I admit, I'm utterly unable to resist, is a big plus too of course! :3

(And it's interesting to read the comments from the artists, to gain a bit of insight to the thought process behind the various designs)

Well, that book and extracted 3d models are my main sources (besides the games) of references in regards to ME that's for sure.

(Oops...I forgot to mention that I do own a copy of that book, my bad)

Oh, I just found a new one on trademe (kiwi ebay) for $30. I just wanted to make sure Thane actually made it into the ME2 artbook, because, well, they fecked him over in the ME3 "artbook".

Might have to look into the big book. Expensive to get over here though.

Back in high school band camp, we used to drink this stuff called Pixie Dew.  Which is exactly what it sounds like: Mountain Dew supersaturated with Pixie Stix.
