I really like this persons concepts, starting with what I saw of his reaperized characters.  I adore what he did with Thane for the Dragon Effect...so the big question is:  is he romanceable??

@Everyone - We have a new video posted on the Cosmic Love blog, as a thank you for getting 25k hits. It's a ME romance video and Thane is one of the first shown. It really is good.....go watch!

Oh, yes. That is definitely the most important question. After this we can then solve the TRS (Thane Romane Scenes) mod dilemea. :innocent:

Hehe cats being "cuddle bugs" I've got three of those.

One is a big, lazy Russian Blue who won't stop cuddling once he starts.

Another is a "I'm more clever than the other cats. But I looove cuddling with mah hooman!".

And the third is a big, muscle-heavy, divalicious, Norweigan Forest Cat. Seriously, that cat gets mad if he feels he is  being ignored. He also meows in the most squeaky and highpitched tone when he's annoyed.

Did you all say cats?....lol I have one cat inside my house,she's a brown patched tabby persian cat and I love her to pieces....but she don't like to cuddle much(just a litttle though) and she is a mooch lol! Although she does like to be loved and petted she loves to have her alone time...but will start meowing wanting attention when she wants it!



Okay yesterday I was playing another Femshep in ME 1 and I started to talk to Kaiden...I didn't do that in my last play with Femshep.....and well I can see how Kaiden starts to have feelings for shep real quickly,he said wanted to ask if shep felt the same way or was he going over the line....of course I picked over the line cause I don't want femshep to romance anybody in this one...well I felt sort of bad but went on anyway.......sorry if this sounds weird but....all I dreamed about last night was Kaiden....damn it your not supposed to invade my dreams!!!

I'm not gonna virmire him this time though I already made up my mind about that I have so many ME2 games where I kept Ashley alive!

I adore cats.  And dogs.  I'm currently working on getting my vet tech certification and volunteering at a no-kill animal shelter.  I only have the resources atm to care for one cat, but I get to hang out with a bunch of other kitties at work.  They are all precious, even the grouchy semi-feral rescues.

As for Kaidan, I liked him a lot better when I played with ManShep and could be his bro without tripping the romance.  Same with Jacob in ME2.  On the other hand, avoiding romantic insinuations with Jack and Tali (whom I like but would never romance) is more difficult now, but I think the guySheps have it better in terms of avoiding ninjamance.

Hey, what are those red things on thane's face? Are those gills, or just different colored skin?

I'm not trying to troll, I like thane, I was just curious about this the other day and decided to learn by interacting with my fellow ME fans instead of googling it.

Also, does Thane's voice sound slightly different in ME3, or is it just me?

The actual wording is up for debate (apparently) but I've always referred to it as his frill. It's a reptile reference, although much beyond that and I just shrug.

And yes, Thane in ME3 is emo and some of us are convinced that it's his twin brother Tink Krios. I'm not joking, the Tink discussion really is in here somewhere. Seriously though, yes, it sounded...subdued and depressed. Resigned to the dreadful writing I suppose.

It just sounded a bit deeper and more distorted.  I guess maybe they were going for advanced illness?  

It didn't allow for as much emoting in the VA this time (the VA in ME2 was really good, right up there with Yvonne and just short of Sheen).

I love dogs and cats too...I thought about becoming a Vet assistant in the past but can't due to health problems!

Y'know I tried a romance with Tali with the first maleshep I played....it was soooo...I don't know I just didn't feel anything between shep and Tali it felt so immature,I hate to say that but it did to me!

Anyway...I also want to say that BW did a ****** poor job with equality for femshep...how dare you Bioware for taking Thane and Jacob away from us when Maleshep get's to keep all his Li's!

@Squee and Roxy - Thank you for the kind words. It was very thoughtful of you to link it to your site, Squee, and I think I'm blushing a bit from Keythe responding to it. *bows head while digging a toe into ground.*

@krukow - I always called the red on his neck "ribbing". Since drell can expand their throats, the "pleating" makes sense. I would imagine it is quite soft, due to its flexability. Take that as you will.
As for the voice, my memory is fuzzy on the differences in his voice between ME2 and me3.

I've seen that.  And favorited it.  Butthurt idiots on the Internet aside (I'm referring to the dA drama), it makes a very good point concisely.

Tyranny of the majority is not an acceptable solution.  Not in politics, not in religion, not in civil liberties, and not even in something "for fun" like video games.

Wow gears I read it and loved it! I giggled at the "She did lord knows what with her boot and biotics to kill that last one. " Everytime I recruit Samara and watch that part I always say " Oooh death by high heels" lol! What you wrote was Great!

@gearseffect I checked your Samara text. I must say, I never cared for Samara that much, but I found your writing about her very touching. Made me really feel like she should be a real LI. All the build-up for a romance, and then nothing... I feel kinda bad for Samara fans now. :/ Anyway, good work with the text!


*sigh* I need to open up. XD I had an idea for a Thane & Mouse fanfic and searched their conversations on youtube for inspiration. I found a version I had never heard before, the one with Mouse talking about chocolate and Thane saying he never gave Kolyat any chocolate. At first I thought it was hilarious, how they talked about chocolate so seriously... But then I was like "wait, he never... what kind of father doesn't give their son chocolate?!?! ;__;" Aaand I'm ridiculously sad now. XD Oh well, gotta read some Thane smut to cheer up before going to bed.

Seriously though, am I the only one who feels more sorry for Kolyat than for Thane (leaving out how horribly Thane was treated in ME3)? It seems to me that many Thane fans see Kolyat as a whiny teenager or something like that... *shrugs* But I really like him, especially in ME2, and I wish we could see more of him.

Aw, could talk about Kolyat the whole night but I really need to sleep, it's 10 pm here and I gotta wake up at 6 am. Nighty night for all!
