Sure they exist. Some of my relatives are masters of the Shepard Shuffle, I've even seen them break out the crazy on occasion.

I choose to find it hilarious, and not mortifying.

The last time I danced, the Macarena was the Big Thing. Imagine that, a whole room of people doing the Macarena.

OMG!! I love Thane's sexy laugh!  Expecially that little husky half laugh he gives when Shepard says something too forward. 
My faveorite thane laugh 3:27 = "A start? Thats...(brief sexified hum of a laugh) Intrigueing."

What you don't know if that the creator will be doing another video for the ME character that wins his next vote on his website http://acavyos.de.tl...avyos.de.tl/   

Go there and vote for Thane! The poll dosen't get that many votes so if all of us join together we can totally out vote Liara T'Plot-armor and get a new Thane fan video!  <3 This guy was featured on ME2 facebook, so you know it's gonna be awesome. Go vote!

Lol, Marcarena should be in ME3.  Bioware said there would be more humor.  It would be 100 years old in the ME universe and people would still know the dance. 

Who doesn't love Thane's laugh?  I bet seeing Shepard doing the Macarena would make Thane laugh even harder than he did in ME2.  Hopefully the lyrics translate well.

I sent the guy a message on YouTube, said it might be a good idea next time he has a poll to not include fan-fav's like Liara and Tali against other characters... By sheer numbers, the results will be skewed.

I mean, they have (more than) enough videos. We need more Thane!

Also, my head was completely in the clouds as soon as he came on screen. I had to press replay four times to actually hear a word he was saying. I am shocked that he actually talks like that without a computer or anything. I mean, all Bioware did to him was add the "warble" here and there - the pitch, pronunciation, depth and tone is completely natural.

No wonder a kid interviewed him. No adult woman could stand that close  to him for for that long and not scream/ attack him/ have her clothing mysteriously fall off.

Somewhere on a site I read that the Drell race is new to the game. But Thane is 39 years old.. so I'm pretty confused. Are the Drell just new to the Mass Effect series or is it something else that I've never read or seen?

They are new to the series. They aren't in the first game at all. In fact the drell don't even have a primary codex entry like the other species do. Bioware took the route of explaining this by saying they are endangered species that are so rare that a lot of people don't know they exist.

Outside of the lore and in our reality the drell, actually more specifically Thane, was created for the fan girls. 'cause you know it's not fair for the boys to get the asari to drool over and there's nothing for the straight female fan base to drool over.
