Hi
I was playing dragon age origins and I was about to enter the proving upon returning to the dwarven city. When I wen to do so I saved the game and went to enter. THe game frooze on me and I had to quit the game by exiting to the ps3 main screen and choosing to quit the game.
Since I have done this my disc does not show up any time I put it in the ps3. My other games work but as soon as I place the dragon age disc in it seems to think there is no disc in it at all.
I hear the disc spin but nothing shows up.
I tried turing off the ps3 on the back as well as removing the game data (not my save data) in hopes that i would just need to reinstall it but the disc is not recognized so I cannot do that.
Does anyone have any idea what I can do?

Clean the disc. Look to see if it has scratches.

Are you able to play any other PS3 games or Blu-ray discs without issues? If you are seeing a trend that your PS3 console is not able to read some of your game discs, it could be a hardware issue that will have to be addressed by Sony.
However, if you are able to play every other PS3 game you have, it could be the disc has become damaged or too dirty to be read.
